Dreamweaver

I use DW rarely, so I never noticed this til recently. When I open a page in DW, the coding screen looks all garbled. See attached screen shot.Any thoughts on this?

Hi, on this site, on the mobile version, I have a small space between the images which I can't get rid off!! EVISSI Does someone have any idea??

On my computer everything looks fine.But when I upload the files, it takes time to update the files sometime.I thought the server was slow but now I see it doesn't update when I login to remote  server.When I upload the files I use  , Arrow for put file to remote server also tried the , circle arrow for synchronize with remote server...I remember on blackboard,  no stupid question,Thanks for readingJames

I know, this is an Adobe forum but... Adobe has removed server behaviours and killed InterAKT (Developer Toolbox) so I think that it's still a topic that could interests many DW's users.WordPress is a great tool but I think that develop a website without a "ready to use" CMS is still the best way, the best web workflow (especially for corporate websites).At the moment, DMXzone is the only company that offers a replacement of the old server behaviours but their extensions have many limitations.For example, isn't possible (or is very hard to understand how to do it) to set a simple "Show if the recordset is empty" and is necessary every time to open a ticket in the forum (great support but I'd like to do it alone and quickly).The DMXzone forum is another big problem. It's impossible to save images (screenshots) and to see the whole activity in the forums, is necessary open each forum individually (... and many times it's hard to remember in which forum you have posted the requests). Hi forum members!On this webpage I have a movie which should automatically start at loading of the page. It does, but it only when the movie in 'in sight' and because the movie is not on top of the page, it's never 'in sight'. If you scroll down and then reload te page it does. My web site is set up so I use the *.aspx file extension.  We have some things we load on every page on our web site.I would like to build a custom *.aspx page that most of the page in our site will be based on.  I would like for this to appear as a choice in the new document list, when my team chooses, File, New.  Is this possible?  Thanks!

I'm on DW CC and still having this issue

I am using Dreamweaver CC 2017.I have 4 images used as links on a web page. The links work fine when viewing page on the web or opening the page directly through browser. When I use Preview In Browser, one of the links does not work. I would appreciate any suggestions.

When editing my html in Dreamweaver CC 2017.5, recently I have been having trouble with 'Find' and 'Replace'.  I add in the search requirements and then put in the replacement text, once I hit enter the software shuts down. No warning, no error, nothing, just completely shuts down. I need to find a fix for this as I have many sites with 10s to 100s of pages that sometime require the same text to be updated. I do not want to have to go to every page and fix all the changes. Please help!!!

Hi Everyone.I make websites for a living on dreamweaver, but im stuck on a particular situation and wanted to know if anyone has tried or if its possible to add code to a website to allow the customer to login and and add photos when they like without having to go through me?I know wordpress sites have this feature but if this was an option on dreamweaver that would be helpful.Anyone have any ideas?Thanks

Recently, I enrolled in the Dreamweaver cc.Other functions work well, but when I try to operate the bellow jQuery mobile, the error message always occurs and the program stops and never goes on the next step.[The cite root fold either can not be used or can be locked. Hello.I'm trying to organize a website using a responsive grid. I'm using a 12 column grid, and I need to create css classes for different column spans. For simplicity reasons, say both the column and gutter widths are 4%. This way I have 12 columns (12 x 4% = 48%) and 13 gutters (13 x 4% = 52%). Hey, they finally came up with a way to stop having to say "No, not that Previous Versions, the other, hidden Previous Versions option" in the CC Desktop App.Installing an old version is a two step process from the Apps tab now...1. Click the Arrow by the Install Button and choose "Other Versions"...2. Pick the version you want from the modal window that pops up...Nifty.

My company has a link on all emails that takes customers to our online catalog. The link is www.ari-hetra.com/catalogJust a few weeks ago i updated the catalog, and have a new link to the new one, (it has an orange cover, old one had purple) and i put that into dreamweaver, and it shows the new orange one in dreamweaver. so far so good. i took the old one off the server, saved the index, and reloaded it onto my server. However, when i type in the link in my browser it keeps showing the purple catalog, even when i hit "shift+refresh" to clear all the cache/cookies, it is still the old purple one. So i've taken it off several times, reloaded it several times, when i click on the index.html in my documents it pulls up a page in my browser for the orange one. So the coding is right i'm assuming, and its on the server and live,but theres just something missing to the puzzle that i am not understanding. Any suggestions?Thank you in advance.

On the other Dreamweavers when I wanted to edit a css, I selected the css and clicked on the pencil icon to open the css rule definition box.The only way I find to get acess to the css rule definition box on the new CC is when I am creating a new div and then there is a option for a new style and it opens the box.My question is how do I get to the box once the rule is created? the pencil icon is not there anymore.Not good breaking workflows Adobe, some folks have work in progress...Please help, thanks.

Just upgraded to CC and noticed that anytime I use inline styling that the properties are not highlighted like they were in CS6. I have been searching arround the color.xml file for a place to edit, but unsure of what to modify.vs.Having the properties highlighted def makes it quicker to navigate. I have to use inline styles a lot for emails, just in case anyone is curious.Appreciate any help!
