Why can't we download multiple assets from CCLibraries, is so annoying and inconvenient to have to download one by one .
It seems that it is no longer possible to display the files by type. The only possibilities are by date or by name. Please allow it, as it was the case before the current modification.
The current method of deleting files permanently from Creative Cloud is cumbersome and time-consuming. There should be an option to Empty Deleted Files or some other mechanism, rather than the awkward approach that exists. I shouldn't have to scroll through dozens of pages of deleted files to try to remove them from CC storage. I know I can shift-select to get a range of files checked at the same time, but the server response is slow and often takes minutes or longer to confirm that something has been deleted. It also often fails to delete something permanently and thus it's impossible to tell whether any of the files you've already highlighted are in fact removed. Most other cloud-based storage offers some way of eradicating unnecessary files in a single shot (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.). Granted, none of these services make it overtly obvious how to do it, but they do offer such a tool.I use CC for a great number of projects and, after archiving to an external drive, I want to regai
As someone who uses multiple libraries across the organization I work for, I would love to be able to pin a few key libraries that hold brand assets and colors so they always remain on top. This will allow us to have access to our more frequently used libraries at a moments notice.
my storage suddenly showed 99% used of 100 gb. i didn't realize that CC keeps DELETED files as well as ARCHIVED.if i delete files, i want them gone. if i archive them, i want them to sit in file purgatory. if you're not going to DELETE when we say delete, then give us a button on the file page that will permanently delete them when we want to.
I want to be able to select specific folders in my computer that I want synced. For example, I might want to sync a folder called "Current Projects" so that I can access its contents from any of my devices. And no, I don't want to open CC and upload each file every single time one is created—all new files created in that project should sync to the cloud automatically. And no, I definitely don't need or want an extra copy to be stored locally in the creative cloud folder. Google Backup and Sync has this functionality.
Ability to change the ownership of a shared folder, If I created a folder and then I move on into another project I want to be able to change the ownership of the folder to a different person.
I've spent many hours organizing assets in CC libraries. When relinking from CC libraries in InDesign, all those folders or groups are completely ignored and I am presented with one long list of assets. Why does this feature ignore the groups? Why allow us to organize assets, if that organization will just be ignored?
Why can't you add multiple swatches at a time from Illustrator Swatches Panel to Libraries? Why can't you reorder swatches in Libraries?
It would be useful to be able to upload to libraries: workspaces; keyboard shortcuts; defined patterns; actions, and other personalised elements an artist would have set up for their practice, and might need when working on another machine in say a shared studio environment, where the IT manager has everything locked down to basic settings and all files are deleted on shut down, and won't budge or create separate user profiles because other folks keep breaking things.
PLEASE allow the sharing of folders with collaborators. I realize I can share libraries but this is not efficient if after working on a shared document, I can't save it to a library, I can only save to a folder. Am I missing something? This seems like a real oversight in terms of collaboration.
WHAT A FUCKED UP WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the new ability to drag and drop png, jpeg, psd, svg, etc. files into an open CC Library panel in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. I'd really like to see .idms files added to this list. Why? InDesign users often create folders of these "snippets" to use as sort of an ad-hoc library. It would be great to be able to convert these into a true CC Library via drag and drop. The underlying architecture of CC Libraries uses the .idms format already when dragging InDesign page elements from an InDesign page into a CC Library, so this shouldn't be too hard I wouldn't think.
Allow sharing for folders of cloud docs. That way everyone on a team can see all the work a designer has done without having to add each team member to each file individually.
I have a lot of assets in the /Deleted folder online which I want to permanently delete, but there is no checkbox to select all or a button to permanently delete the contents, so the process involves selecting each item individually, which is a nuisance. Services like Dropbox allow selecting files as a batch.A broader point is that when I delete or remove a file from CC on the desktop I expect it to be actually deleted from CC online assets. It’s not Adobe’s job to second-guess my action and keep the file in limbo just in case. I can manage my own files and backups, I don't need Adobe as my nanny. However, I understand that some people expect this safety net, so perhaps another suggestion would be to have an option in the preferences which lets me set whether to permanently delete files from the online assets when they are deleted on the desktop.
Hello,While using MOGRT Files and the Library, we can't add a proper thumbnail to the files. We can do it with a local file, by modifying the "archive file", but there should be a proper way.If we import a modified MOGRT file, the thumbnail disapears. The only way we found to have thumbnails, is to create it directly in the MOGRT and add a checkbox to disable it when we use it.It would be really appreciated if we could import a thumbnail directly in the library. An other thing is the black areas on top/bottom of the thumbnail. We create 16:9 videos, and the thumbnails seems to be 4:3, it would be nice if it could be transparent or fit automatically.Thank you for your great work.Julien
Commenting needs to be done at the page level for multi page documents. It has no real value to me without this feature. The ability to annotate comments would be a bonus feature.
I cannot click on every each file to delete it from thrash. You have to have a select all feature now!
I can't us the CC Library in Illustrator, except the rest. Please fix this bug.
I've spent over an hour trying to resolve this problem and over an hour spent on a brain dead service rep from Adobe. Why is there even a difference between 'Synced files" and "Cloud documents"?All files should be synced up to the cloud and locally. That's the whole point of the feature isn't it?
It seems obvious to delete files and folders to maintain cleanliness. It also makes sense to have a trash folder where all those deleted files live incase something was deleted by accident. Well adobe does have a deleted folder that catches assets, however it does NOT catch folders that have been deleted. I accidentally deleted a folder that contained 100's of assets. Not only did I loose the folder but I also lost all the files within the folder. None of which showed in the deleted folder to recover. Searching the forms I can see that I'm not the only one to do this. I feel like it makes sense that the Deleted folder should catch everything that has been deleted.... and only from the deleted folder can items be permanently deleted. I created a video of how the problem occurred, how support was no help, and ideas to improve adobes products. Please watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLtkBLrp9Is
I need the ability to resize (w/a slider) the display size of assets in libraries, both in the library panel and in the CC libraries.
Could it be possible in the Assets Website to extract all the swatches and patterns used in a document (Illustrator) as well as Images and Lib Assets?
I have a folder hierarchy that gets abundantly overwhelming when I open a parent folder and all the sub-folders auto open displaying all of their assets.Opening a parent folder should just show it's assets + collapsed sub-folders.Sometimes it does do this and sometimes it doesn't. Can't figure out what sets it off. At least give us an option?
As an editor I would like to be automatically notified when our design team creates / updates / replaces or deletes CC Library assets. This helps both sides as the designers do not have to manually send an email out.As a bonus there would be space in the notification to see changes made to the new version of the asset.
