P: Maintaining a scene or character across different prompts

Let's say I wanted to storyboard a script and produce different angles of the same thing. It would be nice to have something that holds on to the core look and objects within the frame so we can get a wide, medium , and close shot of the same scene.

This tutorial on Adobe Learn covers how to maintain consistent characters across multiple storyboards using Firefly Boards. The same method would work using Text to Image generation as well.

"A 2x2 grid of images showing this man getting out of a sports car in a busy city"

This was generated from a simple selfie headshot. While it's not a perfect representation of me (the source of the selfie), it's remarkably close. Starting from several actual images in the same layer showing different angles and lighting may yield more accurate results. Cleaner starting images definitely produce more consistency so far. The main trick is getting everything you want to use as a reference in a single flat layer, then selecting the entire layer.

It has been marked correct.

For those who come across this thread later, please note that it started in March 2023 and things have changed since then. Adobe listens!

Sounds really interesting Kevin, do you have a rough outline of the prompts and steps you did to achieve the storyboard with the consistent character/talent/subject? Thank You.

Fixed and merged a bunch of similar posts into this one. It definitely solves a lot of issues. And the fact that you can then animate the frames via FF video without leaving the board is a bonus!

Kevin,

So many people have been looking for this capability that I would save this as "Correct Answer" instead of the previously listed Correct Answer. Although there was somewhat of a workaround (through some very tedious steps), THIS is what I believe folks are actually looking for. It's got my vote. Thank you again. Important information.

THANK YOU Kevin. Now "That's what I'm looking for." Well done. Thank you for setting me straight. This WILL be used. I would (I being you) post this on the string of everyone who's been asking for Character consitency. A Lot of people will be very grateful.

@CSI Productions not coming off as ungrateful so don't worry. Here is a quick POC using Gemini/Nano Banana and a simple image reference (my headshot).

Doesnt get more consistent than this. We are using this today for storyboarding.

Firefly boards can be used for moodboards, yes, but thats not the only use case.
