I have 20 or so files imported i want to turn to greyscale. ATM I have to change them all one by one, surely there should be a way to turn them all the greyscale at once if they're are all selected?

Today, when a graph has an exposed parameter which is not used inside the graph, it is not present in the SBSAR form of the graph. This prevents using parameters to only control the visibility of other parameters. In some cases, we may want to make visible parameters based on the state of another parameter, even when this other parameter is not used in the graph. Unfortunately the current SBSAR processing is not making this possible. We can workaround this by using a fake node so the parameter is used into the graph, but that is not convenient and impacts the graph processing.

Like ones in  Blender   :  Ctrl + stroke across a line  kills the line .  Shift+ stroke accross several lines  maks a sharedd pin .       I hate mouses . They make my wrist sore.     Please Adobe  add those two simple additions. 

When I drop a node from a library to my current  substance  I would very much like to have an option to embede  it into file? Maybe something like ALt +drop.    I mean to be able  to edit it localy without changing the original.       It would make my life so much easier.   Without  my tools libraries  being a huge mess  of  versions with minor differences  I couldn't eve remember   what was what.  Without a huge redundunt  buggage  that exact node would come with  if its host sbs  has a lot of other things.

Today presets are accessed through a combo box. When a Substance has dozens of presets, going to the next preset is a pain: open the combo, scroll the last preset used, select the next one. I'd like to be able to easily move from one preset to another, with keys or previous/next buttons. Also, after selecting a preset, there is nothing in the user interface show which preset has been selected. At some point we may have forgotten which preset was selected, hence the difficulty to go to the next or previous one. 

Would be awesome to make Designer work with Mac's touchpad gestures for graph panning/zooming. The way it works now makes at doable but pretty difficult to do basic navigation. Cmd/opt + right click drag is very non-user friendly..  Hopefully Im not the only one using Designer from a macbook.

I would like to remove the limit on the number of samples and the number of Blades in the non uniform blur node. 16 and 9 are small, and artifacts are often visible.   

It would be handy if there was some way to overwrite a portal input connection after a certain point on the graph.  For example, after blending in the texture here, I could set the test_01 portal to the output of the blend node to use from that point onwards, rather than needing to create a new test_02 portal. 

Something like in Blender where you can make a node local  and save it with current file . You can then  edit it then without messing all other sbs files ?

Sorting Tutorial Files into numerical order.I am having fun working through the Adobe Creative Suite and have now come across the Substance group of APPS.  To make my learning curve shorter, I have worked my way through many of the tutorials that are available online including videos and download example files.  This is a wonderful resource. There is one small difficulty with the files is that they present in my web browser sorted into the alphabetical title of the topic.  It is not sorted in chronological order or degree of difficulty but whoever gave their presentation a higher sort order title got to show earlier in the list. What would be appreciated is that the titles be sorted into an order numerically so that the arrangement would be in chronology of production or degree of complexity.  Simple topics should appear early and complex ones appear later. In order to achieve this, a simple numerical system is recommended to appear at the beginning o

It has never been clear to me how Designer manages its graph window. When double-clicking on a graph from the Explorer, it replaces the graph in the current graph window. What if I want to have two graphs into two separate views? There is no "Open in new Window" menu. And there are also specific behaviors when we are into Editing in Context mode. I end up constantly opening graphs into mostly the same window, which is wasted time, especially when the graphs have a lot of parameters.

When trying to organise parameters in a graph it would be handy to be able to select and move several parameters at the same time, as unless I am missing something you currently have to move them one at a time.Thank you

I am finding myself in the following situation: a graph, using multiple subgraphs, each of them also using subgraphs, and at the end of this hierarchy, a "renderer" graph, having two possible forms: a fast renderer (fast to run and cook), and a "full" renderer (slow to run and cook). I can simply use either of them with a Switch node, depending on whether I was the fast or slow version. Problem is both renderers will be cooked, and there is a significant cooking time difference between the two, which here will be combined. To prevent a significant cooking performance drop when using the "fast" mode (due to the cooking of the slow version which is actually not needed in this case), It seems the only way for now is to build two mostly identical graphs, one using the fast renderer, the other one using the slow one, so a lot of duplication and maintenance troubles. Suggestion: add support for Graph Interfaces. I used substance designer on a laptop for the first time today and it is HORRENDUS. It's actually impossible to navigate without a mouse remotely comfortably. Why is every program like this? Does no one use laptops anymore? Cause my god. We've had fantastic track pads on windows for like 10 years now and every program is stuck in the early 2000's. This is why people move to tablets no one cares on PC. Please, please make this work properly with trackpads, and touch while you're at it. Programs like these NEED decent navigation. Use blender as an example, navigating it's nodes is a DREAM on a laptop. It's fluid and just works how you expect. 

Paste from inkscape sort of  works actually but it's weird and unusable . The shape is impossible to select  . it's in wrong scale  and place .    Could you please make it workable.  The native  svg node is so terribly  inconvenient .

The Raytraced ambient occlusion node has a lot of potential use for me, but the problem with it is it's very noisy. A denoise node would allow lower samples and better performance along with keeping the quality high.  Please add this. 

Doing it through save as/open  dialogs is anannoying  waste of time . Couldn'twe just copy from photoshop and paste  with same image scale and position. Not that Ai selection in Photoshop is especially good for textures but it's still a nice feature   we could use in Designer .  Ecpecially when you mix something photogrammetry based  with procedural extra details . the paste in svg node doesn't work really . I managed to paste from inkscape but never in right place  or scale.    Make it work with Adobe soft  please.   Would be a reason to still pay  Photoshop  susbscription.    I need one.

Hi,I currently have this cooking error and having a hard time finding out where it is: [WRN][1254][Linker]Error (severity 0): L12292 variable GET before being SET, possible cache injection issue. If you were logging the name of the variable in cause, this would immensely help to find out where the problem is.Thanks.  

Hello. I am evaluating the pruchase of the Adobe Substance 3D Collection. For that reason, I've been installing its 5 apps... wait, well, no, 4 apps. I just found out that even though Adobe Substance 3D Modeler is shown as part of the collection it is not, quite; not yet at least. For now Adobe Substance 3D Collection is an optional install as it is stil in beta. Where is this disclosed? Somewhere in 3pt. type perhaps?  The marketing of this collection should be transparent; show the "Md" app as part of the 3D set when it is available as a fully-released app, not before (just so it looks like we are getting a whole lot for $50/month). The susbscription fee is for 4 apps plus assets. For Beta testing an app, Adobe should be offereing a discount, or a free T-shirt, or a mug, or a "thank you!" check, AND making it VERY clear that this is a beta app. Thank you. A. Half of my environment  textures are rendered in 3d package.    Shape splatter  never gives you same  pixel-to-pixel  quality .   Always  aliased  alpha.  Never true nice AO ,  Never  true physics aware small things non-intersecting each other.    You instantly see it's fake unless it's something  only quite sparsely scattered. And what amazes me more is that  some modern GPU renders  actually  works faster than shape spatters stack togeter with all their UV channel to color data extract nodes   giving you an illusion of proceduralism  while  being unresponsive as hell  and rather  hang your substance.   So I would really love  cryptomatte masks extracting node and milti layered  exr importer.   

Dear Sir, hello. I am a user of multiple software and have previously used Substance 3D Designer. I remember that the exported sbsar file can be placed in UE and parameters can be changed in real time to change the model. However, I know that after the update of UE5, substitution has been removed, so this real-time modification method cannot be used in UE5.3. I am not sure what your thoughts are. I have previously reported a channel bug to you, but it seems that there has not been any change. Therefore, I hope you can add an export function in SD software, which is a UE5 specific file. I know that there are too many types of sbsar files, many of which are non planar and can be used. There are a lot of bugs, so don't use sbsar files anymore. These files can be imported into UE5 and automatically synchronize the parameters added in SD, just like UE instances. Like ctrl + stroke across connected lines  disconnects  them .   Shift+ stroke across connecting lines   make shared  or multiple reroute points.       It's so much more convenient  than designer way really.   Alt + move   disconnect  selected node  from connecting lines on both sides  and if you move it next to another connecting line it connects automatically when you release Alt .     Ctrl+shift +D  duplicates connected node . Bypass M   works on nodes with multiple similar  connections, not just single  input nodes .   Never works for  material blend nodes in Designer for example.   copy paste  driver to driven  input   . one click solution vs   gazillions exposed parameters   and never ending mess of  extra  created  inputs 

When you open some old sbs file  you usually sit for  5 minutes or more  hitting "no"   for some missing resource   again  and again till you see something on your screen. Could you please add a checkbox  to answer same "no"  to all such  requests   and to  use same path to all  missed images after you point to first one. it's so excruciatingly  annoying and time consuming  I often  start from scratch again.   This software behavior   eliminates  the main advantage of  Substance Designer , reusing  old assets  and quickly re-building  new versions. I tried to persuade chatGPT  to make me a python script that would  relink  all images to same another folder but no success yet.   It doesn't work nicely  with anything but Blender really . Editing  sbs in a text editor is  very
