Add a key-assignable command in Adobe Audition that moves the playhead to the current mouse cursor position on the timeline—exactly like the ‘Move Playhead to Cursor’ shortcut in Premiere Pro. This would allow instant navigation without clicking, significantly speeding up editing and timing workflows.

Please add a "soft selection" to audio selection in clip view simular to photoshop selection where you blur the selection and apply an effect gradually over the area/time.Same for gain, you can do it gradually without gain envelope ...  I know there is a paint brush but this does not work well for me, i want to select the full range and just gradually apply an effect (simular to dry wet).I'm optimising a lot of audio clips so i'm not going to create a multitrack for every sound. Maybe we could also drag up / down while selecting using the time selection tool, up being 100 weight, Or have a blur selection radius like in PS . IE when you lasso'd your selection you would want to blur it...have a corner button like in PS to 'round off' the selection... being a wight fadeAlso Epand / contract would be nice if you have a complex selection...Basically whatever is in PS for selection Thank you.

For the love of everything sacred, kindly implement folders for organizing audio files in an Audition Multitrack project. It's the only program in the professional suite that doesn't support this basic functionality. Please and thank you.Stephen

Adobe Audition feels like a missing element in the competitive Android market. Please develop Adobe Audition to be as comprehensive as the full version of Adobe Photoshop for Android. Please provide two options: one full version with ads, always active and complete, and one full trial version for 30 days without ads.

Esteemed guys and gals who use Audition for a living,I wanted you to know, I’ve been using it since college, and it has been great so far. That being said, I am a voice artist, and I’m constantly traveling due to work and family commitments. It would really be a lifesaver if a version of Audition existed both for iPhone and iPad, to make recording on the go flow more smoothly.I understand that audio processing requires significant computing power, but I mean, wouldn't it be amazing if it existed at some point?Thank you for taking the time to read my message, and I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year  .

Hi, in my opinion Adobe Audition has one the most usable frequency analysis tool (comparing to other software). It allow us to work both in real time, but to perform static analysis too. This is a big advanteges comparing to all VST plugins, which work in real time. However, most VST plugins have possibility to set slope. Example: if we set slope  3 db / octave, then the pink noise (similar to typical music) become less-or-more flat in the spectrum anaylysis. ISSUES: - music has natural slope similar to pink noise (~3db/oct) - it's true in physical world, but human hear / think "flat",- without slope we need to set a lot of range on dB scale to fit the whole singlal on the graph,- if we have big range it's hard to see 2-3 dB differences in the low fruequencies without zoom in (so we need different zoom for low and middle-high frequencies). PROPOSITION: Add slope parameter to the frequency analysis.

Hi, gain / fade envelope are helpful to edit volume envelope (down or up) with custom curve. For example we can define common curve to gain up by 3 dB, but with smooth ends to avoid artefacts. ISSUE: If we need the same curve but for 1,77 dB we need to edit the curve manually. Proposition: Quick scale factor to simply scale all curve points by a constant factor (vertical scaling).

Hi,RMS histogram is very helpful, while working with dynamics. However, it's hard to read for files with a lot of "digital silence" (e.g. due to hard noise gaite usage). In my option it may be solved by implementing zoom in functionality (similator to spectrum analizer).

Hi, currently there are 2 "display modes" in Adobe Audition editor: waveform and spectral. In my opinion it may be helpful to add another one: loudness display. Currently it's hard to make static loudness analyze (RMS/LUFS in time).Amplitude statistics work on the entrie file (or selection), so we don't se how it fluctuates over the time. On the other hand, plugins like loudness meter works in real time only. Example usage:- identify problematic parts needed attention easily,- see static preview how given FX changes loudness of the whole file (before apply),- manual leveling. I tried to found similar functionality in other apps, but I didn't found anything useful.

PLEASE make add a SHORTCUT for MOVE PLAYHEAD TO CURSOR!!! Premiere Pro has this shortcut, and it's AMAZING! I HATE having to click along the bar at the top of the multitrack session to move the cursor when using the cut tool or anything but the time selection tool. THANK YOU!!!

DAWs like Samplitude let you place track markers in a multitrack project (CD Track Start/End markers) and then export the entire session in one pass, producing separate files split at each marker. This is extremely useful for exporting multiple songs, cues, or deliverables from one timeline. Audition currently requires manual selection and rendering for each region. Please add support for exporting multiple files based on markers in a single render pass.

Please allow auto-scroll in the multi track editor to be disabled permanently, so it doesn't turn itself back on every time I play/pause the session.

only 32ch supported, it's suggested to extend this channel number. thanks.

WHENEVER I DISABLE A PLUGIN IN THE CHAIN IT STILL USES THE SAME AMOUNT OF CPU AS IF IT WAS ENABLED. CAN YOU PLEASE ADD A FIX TO LOWER THE CPU ON THE DISABLED PLUGINS I USED ON THE RACK?

I LOVE TO USE MANUAL KEYFRAMES TO CONTROL MY VOLUME AFTER I ADD PLUGINS. IT BECOMES A HEADACHE WHENEVER I DO A WHOLE BUNCH OF KEYFRAMES TO THE FIRST CHORUS, THEN I HAVE TO DO THE EXACT SAME ONES TO THE 2ND AND 3RD CHORUS. IT TAKES UP A LOT OF UNECCESARY TIME. MANY OTHER DAWS HAVE THAT ABILITY TO COPY & PASTE KEYFRAMES. IF ADOBE WOULD AT THAT TO AUDITION, TO ME IT WOULD BE THE BEST DAW EVER CREATED. I'VE BEEN WAITING YEARS FOR THIS. I'VE BEEN AN AUDITION FAN SINCE COOL EDIT LOL. THIS IS THE ONLY THING I ASK FOR. PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone!HOW do I increase the tempo and have the bars auto-adjust to match?I have a song that increases in tempo as we play it. I was shocked to discover that Audition doesn't (?) have a tempo track that can be adjusted incrementally (i.e. per bar, or over time, or exponentially) to exact BPM's  to speed up a song and the bars auto-adjust to match.Or... does it?This will be important for a metronome / click track to record to. It needs to speed up precisely. And also for editing to match each bar exactly.Recording a tempo beat elsewhere and drop it in as an audio track doesn't really work, because then editing across multiple tracks is less precise (if at all). Plus, then we can't track exact BPM per bar.Can someone show me *exactly* how to overcome this?  (my god who'd a thunk garageband would outbeat Audition in this way. Sheesh.).***Note to Audition creators / feature request: make an adjustable-over-time tempo track with matching metronome feature! Thanks!

Please, Please, Please; Create a Way to Reverse clips INSIDE the Multitrack Editor. For reverse effects Cashews like Me.

Considering Adobe talks a lot about 'creators' I'm surprised that there is no basic function for export/import of metadata, which is key to creators getting credit for their work and royalties in this digital age.  Copying and pasting from the 6 metadata tabs is a lot of manual work but is the only current workaround that Adobe is able to provide. I was surprised that metada doesn't exist in a text based file, but is included in the audtion file itself. It's impossible to extract. Wouldn't metadata be considered xml? It seems that it would lend itself to export more, even, than markers and other objects which ARE exportable. Was there a reason this was developed this way?  I'm not sure if this is an idea or a bug. I'll be polite and put it in the idea section. Thank you.

Hi,   Would it be possible to get some kind of online environment or space in which you can record small live jam sessions or a virtual music-studio Session with several musicians directly to Adobe Audition or Premiere or some kind of "Online Studio". The goal is to then be able to record and edit the individual tracks either together or separately and prepare them for a master mix. Similar approaches, although often without DAW integration, include Jamulus, JamKazam, JackTrip, SuperConductor, etc.The challenge here will be to achieve the most accurate, or at least good, real-time recording possible without any noticeable delay, as well as the integration of webcams.

Why can't you merge clips in different tracks with only one command? I don't mean mixing different tracks into a new file. What I mean is, for instance, I have two clips in each track and I want to make it one single merged clip in each track. If I select them all and hit Ctrl+K, Audition says it's not able to merge clips not in the same track. I have to make a selection in a single track, merge it and then move to next track and so on. That's annoying. I don't want to merge clips vertically, I want to select clips and merge them horizontally regardless of how many track I select. Is there already a way to do that? If not, there should be.

Alright, I love the enhance speech beta app, but I don't understand why it is not part of audition. And why paying members of creative cloud do not get more hours to upload and size of files? Enhance speech is fantastic; it saves me a lot of time, even though I am somewhat familiar with audition.. Idea: make enhance speech beta part of audition asap, or give paying cc members more extended/more extensive rights. And make this routine custom for future test projects.

Hey Adobe Community,  A random thought came across my mind when I was editing a podcast, and I was curious to see everyone's thoughts on this. Do you think Adobe would ever consider implementing the Enhanced Speech function into Audition (From Adobe Podcast)? I know Audition already has a vast library of effects to get the job done with out Enhanced Speech, but I think it would be a nice addition if they ever chose to integrate that AI tool within the software. I've been using the desktop version of Enhanced Speech for a while now, and I think it works great for my day-to-day workflow. I know Adobe's going heavy on AI capabilities with their other apps in the space, but I feel like Auditions get left out of that conversation. I know for sure I would gain value out of that integration, and skipping the step of going to my web broswer to upload audio and repeat that process would be a nice.  Side note: I'm not sure if Audition has that function already built into

Hi Adobe Team,I’d like to suggest a feature that would be incredibly valuable for audio professionals: bringing the “Synchronize" functionality from Premiere Pro into Adobe Audition. As someone who workswith podcasts and multi-participant interviews, I often receive separate audio tracks recorded independently on different devices. Premiere Pro’s ability to automatically align these clips based on waveform similarity is a huge time-saver, but having to jump between Premiere and Audition just to sync audio feels unnecessarily complex for a workflow that’s purely sound-based.Audition is a powerful tool for mixing, mastering, and cleaning audio, but the lack of native multi-clip synchronization means we’re forced into a workaround that should be built into the platform. This feature would streamline post-production for podcasters, journalists, and audio editors who regularly deal with multi-layered recordings. Please consider integrating this functionality directly into Audition’
