Feature Requests

Add negative (-100) Saturation values in the Grading panel to desaturate just the highlights or shadows.    

Add the Eyedropper to the Grading panel so that we could pick up a certain color from the image.  

Currently, when I choose any Profile or a Preset in Adobe Camera Raw, and move the slider from 100 to 0, the Adobe Standard v2 profile is revealed as the "base" profile. Is there a way to control which profile is the base profile? If not, I'd like to request that as a feature—I think it'd be very powerful to be able to mix two user-defined profiles, or a user-defined preset and user-defined profile, instead of always having Adobe Standard v2 lurking underneath. Add "Open as Layers in Photoshop" option to ACR (like in Lightroom).

How about a keyboard shortcut ("X"?) to switch between focus & blur? This would make for vastly improved editing efficiency where the focus depth algorithm misinterprets what details are near & far and you've zoomed in to rectify with the focus &/or blur tool 

First off I love Lightroom in all iterations: cc classic and mobile. Now that I do a vast majority of my photography on mobile, The limitation of exporting only unedited originals as DNG is a downer. I edit a large portion of my photos in LR mobile and I’m stuck with a not so awesome JPEG as my only export format. DNG or PNG would be fantastic as it preserves the original oomph of the raw capture and allows for higher quality edits in other apps/programs. (I know HEIC is in the works). Greatly appreciated!

Create toggle to roll back to previous version in splash screen that doesn't require graphics accelerator.  Otherwise, thousands of tablet users are obsolete for Raw users if me. All Surface Pros, etc...

I would love to be able to perform color scaling in Camera Raw as well. That would save time because it's easier to batch process and scale the color of a bunch of images simultaneously. The possibilities for editing in Camera Raw are numerous, so why not also have the option to scale colors by finding the hex number?

Adobe get with the program.  I tried importing *.HIF files today from my EOS R5 and Lightroom Classic doesn't even show them in the import window.  They can't be imported.  I can import iPhone *.HEIF files but not from the EOS R5.  Adobe's lack of support for import and export of *.HEIF files is pathetic

Hello!I also have a proposal for the developers of the Camera RAW module: instead of using the GPU to be able to use some new functions based on AI, to use cloud processing.In this way, all users who do not have newer graphics cards could benefit from the latest AI-based innovations.It is not fair to ask users to upgrade their systems, only for Adobe programs, if they do not want this, and the normal use of their own systems does not require more resources.Apart from the few who are passionate about buying the newest systems on the market, the vast majority of users have been using the same systems for many years, without any problems.Why do Adobe programs need more hardware resources?Why don't Adobe developers find solutions so that the programs they develop use Adobe resources for intensive processing?It is not fair that if you want to use the new advanced functions, you have to pay twice: once for the Adobe subscription and the second time to upgrade the system so that you can use t

I work with duplicated smart objects so I can work directly within the RAW file for every step. I do that via actions, but actions don't reach CR and so I have to click menu, "load settings", the setting, enter, enter for every smart object.  Thus, I could very much use something like macros, extra buttons that I can run in CR like in PS, that would speed up my workflow tremendously. Even more so integrating CR into PS instead of running it as a plugin. Having to load presets hundreds of times every day (up to 10 per image) is not very user friendly.    If at least there were a keyboard shortcut for "load preset". Not a huge deal, but it adds up!

Good Morning!! Sorry to bother. Does anyone know if it is possible to invert the Raw camera panel, for left-handers? or from windows. so that I can work with the canera more fluidly. If anyone has any tips I would really appreciate it!Thanks!

I have an Adobe account.   Make a portion of the account available for me to input the type or types of cameras I have.    Currently I have a Nikon Z7 but Adobe BURDENS my pc with information on EVERY camera produced, together with EVERY lens imaginable, all except Nikon Z lenses. Allow me to register my camera model into my account and only send me data that addresses that particular camera.    My computer should run much faster?   "Camera Profiles" = 700mb of data.   "Lens Profiles" = 400mb. The same is true under LR Classic "Resources."

0. Have HDR10 display, and have HDR enabled in Windows. 1. Use HDR mode in ACR and develop a photo such that it looks good in HDR. 2. Turn off the HDR button in ACR. Notice sky gets clipped to pure white, but rest of the image looks identical. 3. Hit that HDR buton in ACR again to go back to HDR mode. 4. Tick the "Preview for SDR Display" checkbox. 5. Notice that the image now looks different than it did when HDR was disabled in step 2.   And while this results in highlights not being blown out by default, it also changes the contrast around midtones and shadows. I did manage to find a combination of sliders under the "Preview for SDR Display" category that returns the rest of my photo to how I originally made it look: Contrast -100 Clarity -100 Whites +100   What I would like, is for the SDR portion of the image to remain unchanged by default, with all sliders at 0, and then I just want to use the highlights slider to bring those highlights down a bit to prevent clippin

Camera Raw & DNG Converter feature request:    JPEG Preview needs more options. The current default medium size image resolution is too low, while the full size resolution exceeds the needs in most cases and causes large file sizes.   Is it possible to add two options:1. "high size", approximately 1920x1080 pixel resolution, corresponding to 1080P displays.2. "higher size", approximately 3840x2160 pixel resolution, corresponding to 4K displays.

Up to now Adobe has included every Phase One digital back in the supported camera list. But it's now more than 8 months that the IQ4 150 MP came out and we still cannot open the files. When is IQ4 supposed to be included for all of us that want the best quality cameras and also the best development software altogether?I hate using Capture One. It breaks my whole workflow. Thank you very much in advance.

The Clone & Heal tool is really great. I really find it easy to use. It would be great to be able to rotate the healed/cloned area. This would be really useful for blending lines. I hope it's clear what I'm trying to ask for, any questions give me a shout. John

Hi there. In colour blind and I was wondering if lightroom could have a couple of features to help out. Maybe with setting the white balance and the colour picker. In the HSL panel it could show what colours I'm picking. Maybe have a "colour peaking" option to show if a photo is becoming too saturated. Or if you could come up with some ideas to help edit photos that would be great. Cheers

Add Shine Remove Options in Camera RAW

It would be extremely useful to me if it were possible to change ACR versions quickly in the CC app, rather than with the installer packages (see: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-in-installer.html#12_x).  This would let me easily use the superior user interface of 12.2.1 and also the masking features in the newer versions of ACR.     Even better if this could be done at-will within the photoshop Preferences menus somehow.

Currently, the preset amount slider does not affect calibration, but it did before, this makes almost all of my preset useless because I and many other photographers use the calibration tab for stylistic purposes, and being unable to adjust the intensity quickly interferes with our workflow.

after updating photoshop , when i opened it for the first time there was option to use camera raw as it is (vertical film) or to change it to new UI (with new look and horizontal filmstrip ), i just clicked new UI to see how it looks , i thought if i dont like it i will just go back to using older UI but there is no option to select older UI , i contacted adobe but person who was helping me just suggested that i should install older version of camera raw or ask for help from this forum , i found it bit frustrating that if there was simple option to choose new UI so why not give option to revert back to older UI with newly updated software. maybe its bug or adobe forcing people to use new UI even if they dont like it

My Macbook M1 (latest PS, CR, MacOS, everything...) crashes randomly when I edit my raw files in CR. Eg. last time I edited 6 photos for 1 hour when it crashed. Please make an auto-save or something like it, because now I can only start it from the beginning and it's soooooo annoying!!!

The content aware move tool is a very nice tool in photoshop.   Would there be any plans to have this feature put into Lightroom as you have with the content aware fill too? It would be amazing and very useful to those of us who prefer to use Lightroom.   Thank you
