Manage Updates screen now burried

In the Creative Cloud desktop app, why is the "manage updates" screen now hidden behind a contextual button that only appears when an installed app has detected an available update?

Bad user experience.

...and no, I shouldn't have to go through my IT department! They have enough things to take care of.

The manage updates was critical to my classroom. I was teaching Premier Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. My animation class was using Premier Pro (don't get me started as to why, and not Animate), but every time it'd update, everything was broken and my kids lost a day just trying to find their links. Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign weren't supposed to update because we were using online training software prepping for the Adobe Certification and the certification test is based on an older version (can't build and train to newer version -- there's obviously always going to be somewhat of a lag). MOST important was the issue of our yearbook staff using InDesign with the publisher's extension, also built to an older version with the same obvious lag. If any one of our kids didn't have that update turned off for InDesign, kids would just go ahead and update their InDesign without asking what this pop-up window was, and then we had issues trying to get things back to the older version. What a CHORE!! PLEASE BRING BACK THE UPDATE MANAGER!!!

Hi @Eric35818456yvt7 , can you provide more details regarding your usage scenario? When no updates are available, how often do you go to the "manage updates" screen and what information are you looking for?
