I want to be able to flip my cursor or change it’s style 

As seen in “New Alignment Example.png” and “Irregular Alignment Examples.png”, a user would set a key object, and the source rectangles of the remaining selected objects would align their adjacent edges to the key object’s source rectangle edge.  

A programme just like the new Affinity - where vector and raster are supported and there’s no need to jump from one app to another for each project, with Adobe’s most powerful tools, would be amazing and helpful to so many creatives.

I am a university teacher which uses Illustrator for live lectures, where I scribble and draw a lot of graphics and formulas (I teach physics). Illustrator provides me with an excellent tool for the job, as I can mix graphics and images to create very effective slides live, while talking to the student.To achieve better communication, I uses different colors to identify different part of the equations and drawings (e.g. forces, speeds, etc...). It would make it much easier if it were possible to program the stylus button to cycle trough a programmable set of colors, or tools, or brushes.This would allow, for example, to preset a palette of colors, as well as a set of tools like select, brush, line, and circle, covering the entire need for a lesson, making them accessible by simply pushing on the pen buttons. Ideally, side button would cycle one set (e.g. colors), and the top button the other set (e.g. tools). But this is just an example, the idea could cover many more scenarios.This sh

Layer organization is one of the most cumbersome things in Illustrator. I'd like to be able to select a target layer to paste into from another document. It also shouldn't force you to put it into a layer that you purposely locked or not paste it in at all.Also, when I select a layer (with A or V tool) already in the document, I'd like it to open/highlight in the layers panel, so I don't have to scroll forever, looking for a tiny dot, to find it.  

It would be great if (somehow) that small green and red indicator could be implemented in illustrator. while working you can glance down and see red and know right away that something is wrong. click on it to see what is wrong.  a font missing error, overset text in a text box, linked file missing etc. 

It would be helpful to include rulers in outline mode. They currently dissapear when view changed to outline. 

It should be a good idea to add a cancel button (or clickable "close" icon) on the turntable generation popup window.If I select an element of a generated complex object, made of several shapes (with the direct selection tool instead of the selection arrow for example), instead of the whole object, I'd like to have the possibility to cancel the calculation. Or if the calculation time is too long.

There are 50 shades of grey for the user interface in adobe illustrator but a realy dark version or even a pitch black version is missing.Make that happen please.

HI! It would be really useful to have an option outside Preferences panel (may be close to SHOW GRIDS icon?) that would allow us to switch between having GRIDS IN FRONT or IN BACK since people who use GRIDS need to have them IN FRONT while designing, but sometimes we need them to be IN BACK just not to annoy us and we have to be constantly going into PREFERENCES panel, then going to GUIDES & GRID and activating or deactivating this option. GRIDS are a great and useful way to design logos and I'm sure all of us who are dedicated to this would be eternally grateful.

Lock the movement of text layers, but still allow them to be edited without worrying about them moving.

It would be very helpful if i could edit the built-in grid starting point in the same way I can edit ruler´s starting point.Sometimes when I am in the middle of the work already and need to set the grid in the back as guides, but I would need to snap the grid to my design and not my design to the grid.This little feature would be quite helpful I guess. Good DayIs it possible to create a function where you can abort save and revert to last save? This is because sometimes when you are saving a file it will show the rainbow ball of death continuosly and it either takes a long time for the file to save or the file crashes and sometimes doesn't restore last save.Can there be an option to abort saving because at the moment you have to let Illustrator do it's thing and it not really feasable when you are on a tight dealine and you have to wait 30 min or more for a file to save.Abort button can be a great function please!!

It would be very helpful to have all of the stroke options available, like rounding the edges on stroke corners and end caps and stroke alignment, etc. I know this is likely just a feature that hasn't been implemented in Beta yet, but it's sorely misssed in my personal & professional use of Illustrator. could you please improve libraries. I have thousands of vector assets and it takes forever to sort into catagories.  Couldnt ai do this for me and name my assests for me?

I never save files to the .ait format under the SAVE AS menu. But I will inadvertenly select it when I'm in a hurry instead of PDF. This has to be one of the least used formats under SAVE AS. Moving it to the EXPORT menu won't cause a great amount of confusion. If you feel the same please vote. ThanksRick. 

Entweder/Oder: Wenn Ihr Euch entscheidet ein Bemaßungswerkzeug einzuführen, dann bitte gleich von Anfang an richtig, damit ich alles, was ich zeichnen auch Bemaßen kann, also auch Kurven, Bögen und Radien. CAD-Tools wird’s mit ihrer Preispolitik eh nicht mehr lange machen … 

New artboards are always blank! But why?While creating a new artboard I want to create the guidelines and certain background images too. So far I1) create an artboard,2) add guides,3) copy certain elements4) start working  Why not define a costume artboard that already includes all this?

When exporting all variations, it would be incredibly useful to name each exported layer within the "All Views Grid" to be notated degree to which they are rotated ("Subject 0, -45" "Subject 45, -120," etc.) This could be crucial in animation workflows.Thanks so much.-dang

Can you add a Time line window for turntable feature. it would be great to beable to render a quick clip of the turntable or be able to send the turntable asset to another adobe app for a quick render in substance stager or after effects.

Hola, sería genial que puedan agregar una herramienta parecida al Plugin de akrivi.io, el cual tiene una herramienta que se llama Logo Grid, ustedes cada vez más suben los precios de las aplicaciones, a muchos apenas nos alcanza para pagar la membresía mensual, por lo tanto, comprar un plugin como ese es bastante difícil, sería bueno que puedan agregar una herramienta que cumpla la misma función.
