I would like to share an idea that could be very useful for sublimation printing and garment printing companies. My suggestion is to add an auto-resizing feature for garments within Adobe Illustrator. For example, there could be an input option to specify the garment size (Small, Medium, Large, etc.), along with customizable size settings. After creating the desired printable design, the user could simply select the size—small, medium, or large—and the design would automatically resize proportionally before printing. This feature would be extremely valuable for printing businesses, especially since Adobe Illustrator works with vectors and ensures color accuracy. Adding an automated resizing function for different garment sizes would make the design-to-print workflow faster and more efficient. This is just a small mock-up idea from my mind, but I believe it can make a big difference for designers and printing professionals. Thank you very much. Alfie C. Tub
When saving an Illustrator file, I would love to see an options button as you do with InDesign (to avoid the next popup panel stage) and an option, rather than just a warning, about resolution to allow you to toggle raster effects on save instead of having to save, edit setting and then resave.
Hi. Currently, adding a gradient to a pattern takes a lot of time and effort. Once the user has made a pattern, it will get saved in the swatches but the pattern has to be made into an object using the Expand command due to which it creates many layers of clipping path groups. Once the clipping path groups are ungrouped, then we can add a pattern to the group. Instead of all these steps, make it simpler to add the gradient directly to the pattern itself, which will save us all users a lot of time and effort. Thanks.
Propose adding a new dropdown menu that displays available templates, including custom templates and default templates categorized by country or origin.
Hello, the amazing Adobe team!First of all, I would like to appreciate your efforts in improving Adobe Illustrator. I've been using it for some years now, and it has updated drastically since then. I would like to give an idea or suggestion for the file tabs in Illustrator. Problem: I save the file names based on the projects, and many times the names are very lengthy. When multiple files are open, it gets difficult to switch between the tabs. I have to move the cursor to the right-most for the context menu, then select the required tab. Suggestion/idea: How about we have horizontal scrolling for the opened file tabs? Just as we use the mouse wheel or trackpad gesture to scroll in the canvas area, we can have a similar effect for the tabs. When the cursor hovers over the file tabs, we should be able to scroll the tabs and quickly select the required one. This would really help us switch between the tabs and transfer content, especially when working with pre-ma

It would be grreat having exportation to unity 3d.
We actually have the slider to showcase several views in both directions as X axys, while we have two oppositte arrows to browse in the Y axys for 3 different vertical steps. What if we could have both axys in two different sliders? One for each axys.
We'd love to have the chance of choosing the number of preferred steps (views on every direction) so this option would let the user to configure if they want increase or decrease views of each turntable rotation
What if we could have the full views as a unique 3d model if available to export? This would be super useful as a complement to vector views.
Hello. Trying out Turntable in Beta and 2 things 1. Is there/can there be a way for the tool to stay available and in view when you click off the image but are still wanting to use Turntable? Currently dissapears and you have to go to Object menu > Generative>Turntable to select again. 2. Is there a way/will there be a way to expand an image when you get an angle/perspective you want and you want to use that image as is and release from the Turntable function? Could not find and this makes the image hard to use in other capacities and seems to carry heavy progrmming with it.
The search by name text box in the open dialogue seems to have dissappeared. It is difficult to find artwork without it, especially when there are a lot of documents stored in the adobe cloud to choose from.Search by name does show when opening Illustrator at first (when no other documents are open) it does not show when you choose open from the menu. The work around is to close all open documents and use the default dialogue - very terrible for workflow, or to use creative cloud which does a poor job of searching (searches all documents, not just Illustrator.

Dear Adobe,As the tool description you wrote says, please make the Direct Selection Tool select ONLY anchor points and segmants and NOT the entire shape/object.The reason one uses this tool is to make such adjustements. I accidentally select and move the entire shape multiple times when editing anchor points, before finally being able to move the point I want. One simple change > Massive workflow speed improvement and less frustration.WIn-Win!
Beta version of AI. Windows. I Enjoy the turn table It still has trouble with very complicated images but even then it sometimes work well. I think that being able to export the turn table view into a animation in Animate would be very useful or give Illustrator a timeline to animate as its Drawing tools are better then Animate.
Can we have an option to apply different end caps to stroked paths? i.e., rounded one end and projecting the other. Thanks.
I was just wondering when the Animated Zoom functionality is going to return to the Microsoft Surface Pro? It worked great in Version 28, but in these newer updates it's not available anymore, saying there's no compatible GPU. Will it be coming back soon?
Please allow us to turn off the thicker artboard border. It's distracting and unneccesary when working on single page documents. Thanks.
Dear Adobe Team,I am reaching out to emphasize a critical requirement for countless designers and print professionals worldwide: native support for CorelDRAW (.cdr) files in Adobe Illustrator.Every day, professionals like myself receive and work with .cdr files from clients, agencies, and print houses. The lack of compatibility in Illustrator forces us to rely on converters or purchase additional software, which is inefficient, costly, and disruptive to workflows.Adobe Illustrator is the industry leader, and adding .cdr support would:-- Eliminate the need for external tools and reduce workflow friction.- Attract a significant user base currently dependent on CorelDRAW.- Strengthen Illustrator’s dominance as the universal vector design tool. The demand for this feature is not limited to a few individuals — it is a widespread, ongoing industry pain point. By prioritizing .cdr compatibility, Adobe would be addressing a long-standing gap and providing immense value to its loyal user communi
It would be great to have a bar at the bottom of the color history (colors you have been using) similar to other apps, it is extremely useful as you dont have to go back and create separate square or swatches within the document.
Calcuation in the rotation does stop at 0° or 360° degrees. Like this:330° + 90° = 420° and does result in 360° which equals to 0° in illustrator.What I want is the following 330° + 90° = 420° which should result in 420° - 360° = 60° or90° - 120° = -50° which should result in 360° - 50° = 310°
This is neurodivergent absolute nightmare. And don't even start me on the unattached boxes that just float around the screen aimlessly. All the thousand times that I tick "Don't show this again", and wow, what do you know? It shows itself again when it's in favor of Adobe.
The pencil tool has received a very good update, but I'm looking for a smoother feel, like an iPad pencil. If the pencil could be updated to be as smooth as the brush, it would be a joy to use.
Hi Adobe Team,I’d like to suggest an enhancement for the Quick Pen Tool. I find this tool to be very powerful as it currently stands, but I believe it could be even more effective with one additional feature. It would be incredibly useful to have live dimensions displayed while dragging a path, line, or radius. This would allow users to see the exact size as they draw geometric shapes. Additionally, it would be great if we could input specific distance values based on the user-defined units (e.g., millimeters) while drawing. For instance, when dragging a line or arc, being able to type in the desired length would offer much more precision than relying solely on manual dragging.I hope this feature can be considered for a future release of Adobe Illustrator.Thank you!Paramita Studio
