I have a web album that contains mostly HDR photos. It would be nice if the download option didn't result in an SDR download. Downloaded an HDR enabled file type when the photo is in that format would be ideal.
This has been a dream for mine for years. Please implement a simple shortcut key to auto straighten (from the crop tool). I realize "R" brings up the crop tool (only in Classic, not mobile) but having an auto straighten key would GREATLY improve workflow. Personally, I am a professional photographer editing about 100,000 photos a year. Unlike most photographers I use an iPad Pro with Lightroom Mobile for many reasons - number one being I edit about 8 hours a day during busy season and I want to sit on a couch instead of a desk. Another huge reason is the ability to move sliders and adjust crops with touch. I am always looking for ways to speed up my workflow on the iPad and auto straighten is something that I do to almost every photo. I do think that LR mobile gets slighted when it comes to keyboard shortcuts - which I partly understand because not everyone with an iPad Pro has a keyboard - but me and some other photogs I know would greatly appreciate some love. Thank you
In Details (full screen) view, I want to quickly move left and right navigating to other photos. I used the mouse wheel for this on Windows previously which was superb. On my Mac, scrolling the mouse wheel a little more quickly causes the action to bounce so the view jumps unpredictably several photos to the left or right. This kind of kills the fast and precise photo navigation I was used to in LR for Mac. The mouse wheel bouncing seems to be a known but accepted behavior on Mac. I therefore suggest we need Adobe to adjust the mouse wheel behavior in LR on Mac to allow quickly and precisely navigating through photos in Details view.
When classifying wildlife photos into albums it's really useful to see which albums a photo belongs to (potentially multiple). You can see this in place on the desktop and the web in the Information section, but not on any mobile app including the iPad. It must be so easy to add this and a really obvious missing feature, so I have no idea why it's not been done by now
I have been having an issue for the last several months with some photos exported from Lightroom causing the iOS Photos app to lag and never load the full res version of the image, only showing the thumbnail. This was weird as it only effected some photos, but I never took the time to figure out what the issue was. Tonight I did. I exported the file as i normally do from Lightroom iPad, and saved to device. Ran into the issue with the image not loading and causing issues in Photos. So next I exported a TIFF, and sent it to my mac. Then in macos i converted to jpg, sent that back to my iPad. This file worked fine, no issues. My normal exports always include metadata, as I like the EXIF data to see what camera, lens, etc were used. Next i exported the same file but without metadata. This also worked perfectly in the Photos app. So now I knew something was wrong with the Metadata being produced by Lightroom. So i send the metadata file to macos and use exiftool on the command line to inspe
Please add a Zoom-in functionality in the 'Review for Import' process Reasoning: When using the 'Review for Import' dialogue to import only selected photos all candidates for import are shown together in very small size with no option to zoom into the individual photos. The decision whether to import a given photo is, however, oftentimes driven by the details of the photo that cannot be seen properly without zooming into the photo. Thus, a zoom-in option is needed to allow a meaningful review to import.
I usually select multiple photos to Enhance. But after the enhancing is done- the selection (white boxes around images) switches to the new enhanced images. It would be fantastic if it would stay with the original photo, so they could be unflagged, removed, etc. instead of having to reselect the old ones to unflag.
It is inefficient to have to reset the previous settings every time I turn on the camera. Please create a function that allows users to turn on/off the camera's settings memory function.Thanks.
In LRC it can use "+" "-" to adjust the exposure. But LRC really slow....LR is fater than LRC, But why didn't have shortcut key??
I would like to have the option to choose the location when exporting photos. I would also like to have the option to see thumbnails of photos in the gallery while editing, like in LR Classic. Better optimization of the layout for tablets
Please add Plugin support for Lightroom CC! Ability to seamlessly use plugins like Topaz Denoise or Aurora HDR are the only thing missing for me in lightroom CC. Exporting, editing in other app, exporting again and importing back to lightroom is a huge pain.
adding a reshape tool that includes reshaping, refine, resize and restore! facetune has this tool. which is the only reason i have a subscription with facetune!
It would be VERY helpful to be able to toggle on/off View Options such as Flags and Ratings – just like in Lightroom Classic and, to a lesser extent, Lightroom Mobile. I notice, Grid view shows the number of photos in a stack (thank you), but having the Flags and Ratings would save clicking to filter. (Unless, of course, I've missed an item in the View menu.)
Summary:Requesting a feature to sort images based on overall brightness, leveraging AI to analyze light distribution across the entire photo—not just exposure settings. Additionally, we propose incorporating flash metadata to refine the sorting criteria by flash usage (e.g., flash fired, no flash). Details: Sort by Overall Brightness (AI):An AI-driven algorithm that evaluates total light in the image, factoring in exposure, shadows, highlights, and mid-tones to provide a comprehensive brightness score. This goes beyond basic exposure values to give photographers control over sorting photos by the actual perceived light levels. Sort by Flash Metadata:Integrate flash metadata as a filter option. Users should be able to sort images based on whether flash was used, with additional options like: Flash Fired: Images where flash was triggered. No Flash: Images captured without flash. Auto Flash: Sort by auto flash trigger events for better categorization. Sort by "Dark" or "Light" The
This is the way the broadcast character generators I used worked. Really handy for different tasks within the application. Thanks for considering, JohnSave Custom Screen Layouts:--Arrange all View options specifically for how you want the screen to look when you're working on 'X'.--Save arrangement as a "Layout" called 'X', or whatever--Allow saving multiple Layouts , including a 'Default'--Add Confirm? to apply changes--add to Menu Bar VIEW>Layout... >Saved layouts...--add VIEW/Layout>Make this default Layout--add VIEW/Layout>Startup Layout...
Bring back option to save camera photos to album And not just the all photos section. I found it very useful for my photos to go to an album on my trips. Saved time organizing them later.
I sometimes get a flag for inappropriate use when trying to use AI features when trying to actually ADD/Extend clothing for modesty purposes (in swim team photos, for example). Should be a way to use generative features to ADD (it thinks I'm trying to remove which is understandable re: flag--but that is the opposite...can use the heal/clone but that takes more effort). Does something exist and I'm just not well versed? Add an option to ADD instead of REMOVE.
Please add facial recognition capabilities for pets (dogs, cats, other animals) similar the way facial recognition works for people right now.
Dear Adobe Lightroom Team,I hope this message finds you well. I would like to propose a feature enhancement for Lightroom Mobile that would significantly improve the user experience. Currently, the app allows adjustments of hue and temperature through sliders, which limits precision.I suggest implementing manual input options for these settings, enabling users to enter specific numerical values for finer control. This enhancement would greatly benefit photographers seeking detailed adjustments in their editing process.Thank you for considering this suggestion.Best regards, Chris J.
Since Lightroom doesn't have the ability to create smart albums what about at least saved searches? Lightroom and mobile both have great search functions. I think being able to save these into the side bar would be a great replacement for Smart Albums and very easy for users to figure out and utilize. I've got a handful of searches I use frequently that have multiple criteria. This would save me a lot of time.
It would be VERY nice and HELPFUL is Adobe Lightroom Classic exported Web Galleries included WebP and AVIF image formats. Also, if the web gallery added this behavior... When you click on a thumbnail and the larger (preferably WebP or AVIF) image appeared, there was a slideshow button so it would cycle through all the Web Gallery (again, preferably WebP or AVIF format) images. This would provide our customers with a Slide Show experience where they can sit back and enjoy the Web Gallery content. If I am in error, please let me know what I need to do the accomplish this. Thank you, Nolan Conley
I hope next version of lightroom mobile you will improve the masking feature like in the pc version which we can select other parts of the body and just by brushing our desired object then it will automatically selected using ai.
I would love to see some sort of support for the extra data baked into photos taken on the new iPhone 16 series phones. I'm not expecting it to work exactly the same, but there is clearly more data contained in these files that would allow for more editing latitude. For example, I have been shooting with the tone at -50 in order to add some more contrast to my photos. I feel comfortable setting this as the default becuase I know I am able to recover any of the detail in the shadows that is lost due to this setting by readjusting the photo later. The issue is that when I import into Lightroom I basically lose all editing latitude outside of the image that is uploaded. The good news is the data is retained. I tested by round tripping a photo from Apple Photos to Lightroom and back. Once the Photo was back in Apple Photos I was still able to edit the Photographic Style. It would just be nice for Lightroom to be able to access this data since the round trip is kind of
Feature: a dropdown menu within the "Crop" tab that allows you to save/view/compare different crops of an image - i.e. with different aspect ratios, sizing or other adjustments. Note: this would be similar to the "Verions" tool however different in that any following edits to lighting, healing, masking, etc. would apply to all of the crop versions. I also realize some of the this functionality could be done by duplicating images and cropping each differently, but that really clutters my library so having this live within the single image itself would be much cleaner. Benefit 1: The big advantage of this over the "Versions" tool is it allows you to try out different crops much earlier in the editing workflow, for instance during culling even. Perhaps it's just my own preference, but I like to explore crop options pretty early, so that I know the "potential" of a given image - sometimes it seeing how I could crop an image tells me if it is worth it to spend
