I shoot directly in Lightroom via wifi and the photos are uploaded as a smart preview to a cloud album directly during the event. My goal is to preview on a 4k screen as the photos come in. So I connected a phone to a TV via HDMI. This works very well and the images look really good in full screen mode. But in thumbnail overview, the photos are very pixelated. Is there any way to improve this?
Dear Adobe, the square sized Z Fold 3 running lightroom mobile is automatically goes to tablet mode. But it annoyingly make the side panel to big, no option to make it smalller. So it makes the photos so tiny. I can force it to run on mobile mode if I run the app on front screen first, an then open the fold. But then it will goes to the tablet mode again.. Please make an option to run on mobile mode, I like the panel on the bottom of the screen, so the photos are large sized. or at least a resizable side panel. Thanks
I have clients that need exact pixel dimension of their web images. Please add cropping to a manually entered ratio, and then export to exact dimensions. Example: My clients need 235 x 300px web images. In LR Classic, I can set that as the crop ratio, then export fine (or I could even define the export by 235px short edge.) As a workaround, I tried to crop using the 2x3 ratio available in LR (cloud), but because I can't choose the short side (defining at 235px) as the export size— just long edge is available—I'm stuck. Thanks.
maby it is only me on the planet but almost everyday i would use the option of selecting few folders and exporting them at once. In lightroom classic i used a seperate plugin to do so bu it should be part of lightroom out of the box. Thank you
It would be good to sort albums chronologically, by the date of the earliest photo. When you have lots of albums covering many years, it doesn't always make sense to have them sorted alphabetically.
It's sometimes difficult to use it without Ukrainian language. Could you add it please?
No ability to SORT Albums. When I share an album to Gallery it gets randomly inserted along with all the other albums in the Gallery. Not by title. Not by date uploaded. This is not usable when sharing my Gallery link with family. To fix this, users should be able to organize the order with which albums are shown in Lightroom Gallery or at least to sort them by something intelligent, like the date of the album. Ideally, users could also create pages or folders of albums if they have many albums that they want to share with family/coworkers within the Gallery and each folder/album should have its own Shareable link. Pretty basic stuff.
I used to use Nikon Softwares and used Camera information to learn from my past. mistakes. Lightroom dosen't provide access to all of the settings used in making of the image. As a result I have switch between application to retrive / evaluate that information.
Lightroom Gallery (the website for sharing Lightroom albums with Friends & Family). Need to add features to make Gallery a workable alternative to free platforms like Google Photos. If not possible, then potentially enable an export / integration with Google Photos! 1) Need Ability to select a Cover Image for albums in Gallery. Come on! This feature exists in every other photo sharing site! How hard can it be to add here? Why is it not available here in Gallery?2) Enable integration with Google Photos. If Adobe doesn't want to invest in a shareable photo site similar to free services like Google Photos, then consider an export tool that allows users to upload an Album to Google Photos (including the customized image order) so we can select cover images and send shareable links, etc from Google Photos rather than Gallery.
TLDR: Auto Upload was accidentally turned on. It downloaded my entire 12k iCloud library to Adobe cloud, taking up all my cloud space and ruining my work flow. There's no way to sort out auto uploaded photos. My suggestion is to automatically upload "Auto Upload" photos into an Auto Upload folder by default unless specified otherwise. Okay here's the sitch, I bought a new iPad and downloaded the Lightroom Mobile App. Somehow, whether it was by default or me selecting "allow access to camera roll," the "auto upload" feature was turned on and it uploaded MY ENTIRE 12k photo iCloud library to my Lightroom Cloud. I'm talking every personal photo, every stupid meme I screen capped, about 4K photos of my dog, and the worst part was I didn't realize it was on for a few weeks so all the photos are completely mixed in with my professional workflow in the all photos tab so I can't batch delete. And to make things more confusing, it reuploaded any exported photos from Lightroom back i
I personally import my photos after each shoot to Lightroom Classic and sync the smart previews to cloud so that I can cull them on my phone or iPad. I own both Android and iOS devices, on iOS version when a photo is rejected it will be greyed out in the library or in the thumbnails of the "Rate & review" mode. However I can't find this feature on the Android version. I have checked every setting possible but still couldn't find it, pretty sure this is simply not a feature on Android version. I find this very helpful and believe would benefit other Android users like me. Can you please add this feature to Android?
Since I cannot change my previous question into a feature request, I guess I have to make a new post:Please make it possible to use our synced LR albums as Apple TV screensaver! It is very cumbersome to export pictures from LR and import them into Apple Photos (which I don't use for anything else), and move them into a shared album which I then can choose for my Apple TV screensaver. And if I want to replace an image, I have to export it again, import it and remove the old version manually in Apple Photos. It would have been so much simpler to just choose one of my synced LR albums!
Hello, I use lightroom CC and imported many exposure brackets. But Lightroom does nothing to identify, which pictures belong to a bracket. I don't want to go into the windows file explorer to search the file names, where a brackets start and where it ends. Where are the "Exposure compensation" values in lightroom CC? t
If a user installed Lightroom on his phone and Laptop and a lot of time he has duplicate photos in both devices. Lightroom should detect that they are duplicate and don't add those photos in the catalog and on the cloud multiple times even if they have different names.
Expected Behavior:When Importing Photos to Lightroom for iOS, we expect that Live Photos are Imported and Synced to the Cloud Both photo & video.Actual Behavior:I did a full Back up on Lightroom for iOS and after deleting my original photos to save space, I discovered that Lightroom only did a backup to still photos without the video content (for Live photos). Cannot believe that adobe is focusing on new features while this is not fixed.
When installing Lightroom on my Android tablet, the only option given is to import photos, not take new photos via Lightroom. This is a problem because I want to start off with photos that need very little editing to begin with, as I do not own a fancy camera and only use my phone/tablet for photography. My J1 Ace did have this functionality, however froze whenever I attempted to access the camera function via Lightroom, so no use either.
This is what I'm looking at: I want to be able to see a bit out so I can tell if I'm missing terrain or buildings to put in the crop. See this, if I want to see a bit out like 100 pixels on each edge, it would be cool if that were possible than going All the way out. It would be nice to be able to adjust that setting or have multiple presets like 150, 200, 250, etc. favorited this way it would be easy to tell if the crop is good because once you export, it's done and usually never gets looked at to edit again.
I want an selfie option on 'Discover' so i can save selfie presets. I hope you add this feature.
Would it be possible to remove the white dock line on iOS in the Lightroom Mobile app? Apparently, it is a developers choice/responsibility to remove it or not show it. I'm hyperfocused when editing and frankly, it's distracting. It does not have a purpose when Lightroom is open. Appreciate it.
For several years I have syncronised my family photos from Lightroom to Flickr or Smugmug. Wouldn't it be nice if Adobe took their share of this growing market by developing a useful solution? I find it easy to syncronise to Lightroom Web, but there's three very important features lacking. Fix these, and I'm all ears! Password protected galleries (or invite by email) A search bar for invited users (included searching in keywords, not just captions) More than just one gallery
I would like it if when We hit the arrows for undo or redo that the blue box that pops up in the middle of the photo could be moved to the top or bottom. I'm sure I speak fit many in saying that using the undo and redo back to back a few times to view differences gets distracted by the blue notification box popping up each time. It gets distracting and often I spend too much time undoing and redoing. Thank you btw I only use Lightroom mobile - iPad and android phone
Hello! On Lightroom Classic I use Jeffrey Friedl’s plugin to name export files from the Title field. It would be great if we could do the same on Lightroom mobile, ta!
Lightroom mobile is capable of automatically importing photos taken on iPhone to the Lightroom library. For now, it imports all photos and does not provide any way to filter which photos to import. When I want to process a photo, I take it in RAW, using Halide. I then process it in Lightroom. And when I want to take a simple photo, I use the Photos app of Apple which is good enough in many situations. I've currently disabled the automatic import because I'd like to have only RAW files in Lightroom, not JPEG/HEIF photos. I thus manually import the RAWs in Lightroom. I'd like an option in Lightroom Mobile to import RAW files only, that would simplify my process.
