In all Adobe programs, the Open/Save dialog boxes use the Windows 95 convention, instead of Windows Vista/7/8. Drilling down to save files where you want is a PITA. With CS6, please bring Adobe into this decade with the Open/Save menus. All other programs on my PC have long ago updated to this.
I’m retouching cars and this works fine on the ipad, but I really miss the high pass filter to finish off my pictures.
This is really useful while masking and when drawing with large pressure brushes
I’m an artist so I use many keyboard shortcuts for painting. But Ps for Ipad Pro does not have enough. For example:- Holding shift for moving straight.- Cmd for picking color while using Brush.- Cmd+del & Ctrl+del DO NOT work to fill color.- Cmd for minus selected area while using Lasso tool....I feel very uncomfortable to move hand from keyboard to screen to use the touch circle so often. I have a keyboard with 2 shift & 2 cmd keys, but am FORCED to use that touch circle. Why??!!!!!!
Please support the new dark mode, when opening files I see it's still the default white layout which sucks.
Hey guys, In the 2020 update they have added the ability to add multiple points when warping in free transform; is there any way to change the default number of points that appear when you enter the tool. By default, there are no placed points in the image and I would like at least a 3x3 grid. As I process lots of images a day this would save me tons of time as opposed to going to the top menu bar every time.
More Filters like Frequency Separation please.
Hello, The current photoshop timeline is designed for the frame-by-frame editing of an existing video track, rather than the creation of animation from scratch. I would like to request that the Animation Timeline in photoshop be made more like the Timeline in Adobe Flash. This would include things such as the ability to extend a keyframe over several frames, select frames, grab and move frames from one position/layer to another, and so on. Currently, all of these actions have to be performed through a clunky menu dive, a complex sequence of copying and pasting, or both. Also, frames are deleted if the framerate for the animation is changed. I have worked with both Adobe Flash and Adobe Photoshop for several years. I use photoshop to create rough sketches and drawings, as rastor based graphics are very convenient for my creative process. I use flash to practice traditional animation. However, even with a tablet, vector-based
The problem with mixing tools is that they work like water. When reapplied, it becomes even worse. And need to do as chorcoal and finger work in reality. He rubs the image and does not blur it, which gives control over the picture. The speed and efficiency of the work increases, and you do less action. I think the algorithm of the tools is different. I learned all the tool settings. I set small and large values in the settings, use the texture, the effect is the same.To understand better you just need to paint with chorcoal and smudge with your finger. And draw in Photoshop with a mixer brush (smudge tool). You understand the difference, rubbing the chorcoal with your finger we get soft controlled transitions.Below is a video for comparing the traditional artist and mine.My videos:https://youtu.be/fhXavmuy5fghttps://youtu.be/WMYBbQqJ5DoVideo Steve Huston: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7J5Zr9JsPk&t=4987sPainting - Pastel ht
Hi: Is there a way to perform and Image/Apply Image /Blend-Subtract on the iPad Pro version of Photoshop? Also, can we set up Actions on the iPad Pro?Thank you!
A feature that has been sorely missing from Photoshop since the implementation of its OpenType capabilities is the ability to specify which number features to use. This feature is fully implemented in InDesign and Illustrator so it's puzzling that it would be missing from Photoshop.
Editing spacing on words, letters and lines, warping letters vertically and horizontally, using third party fonts. Those are just a few of the many missing features Photoshop for the iPad currently lacks, which is really frustrating, considering this was supposed to be full Photoshop for the iPad. Please implement these! Some are basically deal breakers!
Please add Tool Preset panel that would allow us to add our custom TPL files, so when we switch tools, we have a panel on the right like the layer panel, and we can select stuff and as our tool change it will update automatically with our favourite presets..Also a history panel is needed for professional work! THanks
WHY can't Photoshop read corrupt or missing jpeg-markers and a common free program like Preview can ? (Photoshop should act as a swiss knife, given the price ?)
Hoping to get all typekit fonts available on new Photoshop iPad version
One of the feature I use to a great extent in other iPad drawing apps is the Time-lapse recording, replay, and export so I can review what I created. I also see this feature used to post on YouTube and other video platforms for folks showing a time-lapse of the entire art process. Thanks.
IPadOS ” Previously called iOS” has supported drag drop for many years and it would be great if I could drag a photo from Safari onto Photoshop without the extra steps of saving the photo to photos then searching for it inside photoshop. Other apps like affinity photos have supported it for a while.
Now that Apple has a tablet with a stylus it would be great to see a FULL version of Photoshop CS that works on iOS. Please not an express program. Something that professionals can use. If anyone knows if this is in the works, please post. Thank you. Here's the link: http://www.apple.com/ipad-pro/
I'm a big fan of Select and Mask but I miss 2 tools in it:- Dodge (set on Highlights) to clean up quickly by lightening the white "dust" of the mask- Burn (set on Shadows) to clean up quickly by darkening the black "dust" of the maskThe ideal integration will be to have a non-destructive local adjustment like with the Lightroom local Adjustment Brush (pin).
I would love to see Camera Raw filter added. I use this a lot in Photoshop for my laptop.
Font sample: can it be a different word? Would be extremely useful to detect Cyrillic supported fonts for example.
I was working on a set of icons, and realized an area where the interface was getting in my way. I'd like to be able to select a layer in the layer palette, and then show it in the viewport. So here's the specific use case: you're working on a big field of small icons. click on a layer in the palette for an icon that's currently not visible, and hit a shortcut to move the visible area to it. If you keep clean layers, you could navigate your document really quickly! no more zooming out, looking around for your icon and then zooming back in.
Standard iPadOS keyboard shortcuts like Shift+Option+Left (to select previous word) and Command+Right (to move the cursor to the end of the line) don’t work inside text layers. This can be very tedious when editing large blocks of text.
Love this app already & I’m looking forward to see any kind of updates in the future. There’s just one thing that’s very much needed for my work, and that’s adjustable pen pressure.I’ve got a very light touch, and it’s a struggle to press hard every time I draw a line. Many people have different pen pressure settings that they prefer. Unfortunately, this was the main reason I wasn’t able to fully enjoy Adobe Fresco. That app has pre-made pen pressure options but they weren’t fit for me. Since this app is for mobile, please consider installing this function. Thanks in advance!
(when no keybd...) Touch gestures [or tools next to undo/redo] for cut/copy/paste to/from iOS clipboard
