Getting sick of constantly changing the unit type from inches to centimetres in the Image Size dialog window. Every time I open Image Size dialog, it's reverted back to inches (if my rulers are set to pixels). P.S. Also getting sick of photoshop.com and adobe.com not saving the cookie/session — I have to log in every time after I close a browser window or even a tab (happens in all browsers). If you guys require proper web coders, just let me know — I'll recommend a couple dozen for you.
it is a big big pity that we can't do an easy pdf presentation now with photoshop.
I think stroke blend modes should affect the layer that it's applied onto - currently it knocks out the image and applies the effect to what's behind it. http://edw.me/3p0a3Y1N2U0a1r0v1R08 At least make it optional if anybody does want to cut through the layer with a stroke.
I desperately wish there were an option to just resize the brush with the HUD, I don't want to make my brush less opaque or change the hardness and I can't seem to not accidentally vary the opacity/hardness while trying to just resize the brush. Why isn't there a subtree of options for the brush HUD? X HUD brush size X HUD opacity X HUD hardness Very much wish there was some more options with this feature, as it is it mostly causes me grief because of how useful it *could* be.
Feature Suggestion: I need a way to change the color of multiple shape-layers at once. How about you select multiple shape-layers and then drag and drop a color-swatch onto them?
It would be nice with the ability to load a custom image for the iris (aperture) in the Lens Blur filter. This would allow more realistic and artistic options for custom blur/bokeh shapes.Realistic bokeh is not a perfect clean shape. It is not perfectly symmetric and clean, and it can have pronounced or soft edges.---Example implementation: Example realistic images that that could be loaded:Example of an artistic bokeh shape:---Other possible (related) features:* Chromatic aberration settings.Example from DOF Pro plugin: http://www.dofpro.com/cagallery.htm* If you want to go all the way, and I consider this overkill, have different iris shape for "front" and "back" blur. At this point we could start saving the settings as lens profiles... Example of how front/back bokeh can differ: (image from http://jtra.cz/stuff/essays/bokeh/)
Why doesn't PS have an autosave function? Every time the application crashes, i lose a work of mine, which i've been practicing for hours.
Enable dashed strokes
Add the following feature: "Free Transform Re-sample option". Give the user the option to choose which kind of re-sampeling he/she wants to use on their transformation (bilinear, bicubic etc).
Right now Color Dynamics is kinda useless because it creates a motley sausage when used. It'd be amazing to have dynamic of color applied to a single stroke rather than to every single sample of the brush. Image is not available
i recomend add missing ability in Liquify filter . everywhere in photoshop you can change brush size by simply pressing Alt + right mouse button and moving from side to side.. it is exhausting that in liquify it is impossible 😞 and you have to set it mannually! thank you for fixinG! and for saving our life time 😄 Chris from Poland
I would love the addition of 'Pixel' to the 'Snap To' family. It seems like this feature would have been a shoo in from the onset of Photoshop with it being a bitmap based image editor...
I use the Blend If sliders all the time - but when I close the d-log I have no idea if I have applied them unless I open up the Advanced Blend options to check. It would be GREAT if there was a signifier (even a tiny one) that showed i the Blend If sliders had been adjusted. Please note: I understand that the layers panel already has a lot of icons on it...but Blend If needs to be more visible and/or discoverable.
This filter is a wonderful filter and I have been able to achieve some amazing effects using it. Yet there are a couple of improvements that could be made. First when applying the filter you get a dialog box that has a preview with the ability to adjust settings and where the lights are placed. This would be easier to use if the preview was larger or better yet full screen like you see with the Lens Correction or Liquefy filters. Secondly, unless I am applying a lighting only to one layer I like to apply it last to the overall picture by creating a layer and choosing "Apply Image." Yet after I finalize the lighting I realize that I need to correct a mistake or make a change and I must make the change then go through the process again to apply the lighting. It would be wonderful to be able to use the lighting filter as am adjustment layer or something similar. Thus as you are creating and working with the photo you can adjust the lighting as you go and see the effects as you create.
Right now if I want a gradient filled shape layer with a circular shape it seems I have to create a gradient fill layer, then add a vector mask, then draw my vector shape into that vector mask. Perhaps in the options bar of the shape layers we can have a check box or fill option for Solid/Gradient. Then it'll go to the default gradient within that vector shape. That would be suh-weeeet! 🐵
It would be wonderful if I could CMD+E shape layers without having to rasterise them first. I end up having to select shapes from each layer and copy and paste into a new layer.
I think it would be extremely helpful for there to be some sort of indicator (like a small initial) on each layer in the layer palette that has a blending mode applied to it. So at first glance of the layer palette you can find for example, which layer(s) have the Soft Light blend mode applied and which are set to multiply, etc. In my case, as a retoucher, that would save a lot of hunting through huge layer stacks looking for the one layer where the dodging and burning is done on a Soft Light layer, especially when working on someone else's file. Also, this could help immensely when we receive layered files from an agency where we have to go in and figure out what is what and where certain pieces are before even beginning the retouching.
Currently the only way (other than with a script) to copy / paste the color of a shape layer is by double clicking, triple click the hex color, cmd+c, enter to close - then double click other shape layer, triple click hex color, cmd+v, enter to close. I've worked around it with a keyboard maestro recorded action but it would be great to have something native that allows you to copy paste shape colors through a shortcut.
...Please allow the '#' symbol to get pasted into the color picker hex input box. Many external color picker tools, such as, the Mac DigitalColor Meter, automatically add the '#' when copying the hex code and Photoshop won't let me paste it into the input box unless I first paste it to the document workspace as text, remove the '#', recopy and then paste it into the color picker hex input box. This would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. - Jon Nutting -
In filter liquify when we want to maximize or minimize the brush we have to go to the palete, why the developers of photoshop don ́t put that thing in the second button of the mouse....
Now a days when I work with 65mlnPx images from Hasselblad and PhaseOne - yours brush looks tiny. As a poweruser and betatester I now how to change it manually inside the application code - but I wish that this feature should be for everyone.
Image is not available Id like to close the layer effects on multiple layers at once. Currently there seems to be no modifier keys to accomplish this.
Dear Adobe Gripe #13965 "It would be convenient to lock/ unlock... on multiple layers at the same time."
currently there's no way to set layer or fill opacity to 0 via the keyboard. Pressing 00 should work but it doesn't.
There are often times when I'd like to select several layers to color code them simultaneously via Layer Properties. For instance, I might want all pixel layers to be yellow and adjustment layers blue: or all layers added since yesterday's proof to be coded green, etc. Having to do this one layer at a time is a chore.
