Feature Requests

I often need to copy text out of screenshots, scans, and flattened comps. On my phone I can long-press to select text, but in Photoshop I have to leave the app (e.g., Acrobat or third-party tools) just to OCR. Please add built-in OCR so I can:• Drag-select text directly on the canvas and copy/paste it.• Convert recognized text to editable Type layers (preserving font/size when possible, or at least positioning).• Batch OCR a folder / current document’s layers via Actions/Scripting.• Choose language packs; work offline; keep data local for privacy.This would save huge time for designers doing localization, accessibility, and quick content edits, and would keep the workflow inside Photoshop.

With AVIF being supported in modern web browsers the need for AVIF as a save as option or export to option would be very helpful.  For those of us that still use Photoshop as a primary graphic editor (even for simple web sites) this will become more and more important as JPG's are replaced.

Photoshop currently only supports up to OCIO V2.4, Please add additional support for OCIO2.5 so as to be compatible with latest standards

When I first reported this problem I was told it was because my wacom tablet was old, my computer was out of date etc. Now I have a brand new computer and a brand new wacom tablet and still if I am not careful my clone tool goes automatically alined when I select an area to be cloned the box ticks itself I can see it happen if I accidentally tap the pen twice in quick succession to the tablet when making a selection. Now this may be okay for you younger people with your steady as a rock hands but no matter how careful I am this is still happening by accident to me. Some may see it as a feature me I would just like to be able to turn it off.

In Photoshop I would like to have colors in all color editing tools (Saturation, Selective color atc.) similar as it is in Lightroom.Especialy orange is very usuful when editing skin tones.  

Änderungen am Programm ohne die User zu fragen - "Verwacklung reduzieren" in PS v.23.3.0 entfallen?   Mittlerweile ist man es als User gewohnt, dass Adobe Änderungen an Photoshop und Co. vornimmt. Erst der "Fehler" seit Anfang Februar, dass die Ebenen bei der Nutzung von Color Lookup´s schwarz sind und somit nicht nutzbar (das Problem habe ich nach zwei Monaten endlich selbst gelöst) und nun fehlt schlicht und einfach wieder ein Scharfzeichnungsfilter, den viele wahrscheinlich nicht häufg nutzen, ich jedoch als finales Schärfen, diesen "Verwacklung reduzieren" mit Vorliebe eingesetzt habe.   Heute am Rechner, Bilder vom Ostersonntagmorgen mit Monduntergang, sitze hier, bearbeite und ... bin überrascht, dass ich meinen Filter nicht mehr finde.   Falls dieser doch noch irgendwo sein sollte, mal wieder irgendwo ganz hinten drin versteckt, bin ich dankbar für jeden Tipp.   Liebe Grüße und ein schönes Osterfest...Gordon

Hi, I am urgently reporting a very inconvenient issue with Photoshop’s current brush size-saving system, and I’m asking for a fix.I love Photoshop and want to continue using it, but the lack of a per-brush size memory feature makes it very stressful to work with. Other art programs such as Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, Krita, and Blender’s Grease Pencil already include this feature, which makes the workflow far more intuitive.Here’s what I need Photoshop to do:Each brush should remember its own last-used size independently, rather than all brushes sharing one size.The current problem:If I use Brush A at size 20, then switch to Brush B at size 5, returning to Brush A resets its size—it doesn’t remember I last used it at 20. Even with the "Capture Brush Size in Preset" option unchecked, all brushes just share the most recent size. This makes it impossible to keep track of the sizes I set for different brushes.Why presets don’t solve this:Of course, I could save new brush presets for each

After talking on the online chat, Harshit recommended submitting this on here.After hours of searching why I was missing features within Photoshop, I found that the reason is because my device has a Windows ARM Processor. So far the features I've wanted to try out and realised I am missing are the remove tool and the remove distractions tool. Turns out they are within the web-based version which I can access on my Windows ARM Processor device, but they are not within the app version for my device.Adobe currently has no date to add these features in for Windows ARM Processor devices, so I'd like to push that this is looked into and a development released which has this functionality. I specifically purchased my device for photo editing and not having full Photoshop functionality totally undermines why I bought the device and have the Adobe subscription... PLEASE develope this for us Windows ARM Processor device users! Thanks.

Disable the bizarro pulsating blue ring around the ‘lightbulb’ icon in Photoshop 2026. In addition to being distracting (and annoying), this ring also keeps pulsating above some other apps when leaving Photoshop.More info here:https://community.adobe.com/topic/show?tid=1178717&fid=712

Hello! I have trouble navigating through my brush lists and folders, as there are thousands of them. It would be very convenient if I could highlight the brush I like. When searching for a brush, it would be very easy to find the one I need and select, highlighted in color. The same could be done for folders. Thank you! 

I've been using the Variations tool for as long as I can remember. I know it only worked with 32-bit but I used it all the the time for color corrections and would like a new version for 64-bit. Sometimes it's just the only thing that will tweak that color just right.

Pleas ad a good noise filter with size etc and ad a good vignette filter instead of these parafilter

Currently you create a live gradient, then if you move your artwork (including the live gradient), either to a different location on the canvas or to a new artboard, everything moves except the live gradient, which stays in its exact location? We need to have the option so, for example, you can can put a live gradient behind a transparent object and then link them together, so when you move the layer with the transparent object the live gradient moves with it. It’s so frustrating if you have artwork with many live gradients within it and you want to move all the artwork on the canvas, or you want to duplicate your artwork and move it to another artboard, you have to go to every live gradient and move them individually. Very odd that you can’t move them along with other layers.

In Photoshop, when you go to Export, Export As, and choose a jpeg, it says you can include the copyright and contact info, but what about keywords, description and other pertinent info?  All that stuff gets stripped out of the file when using this Export As function, creating more work. What gives Adobe?  That makes no sense.

I want to make sure a user has its ruler origin reseted to document top/left.But I can't reset it by script.

Title says it all. Please give the ability to ease transitions on keyframes in Photoshop Timeline editing. While we're at it, make it possible to edit the length of multiple layers selected at once.

When you create a shape with the Shape tool, all its properties appear in the Properties panel.However, when you create a Shape Path with the pen tool, the only properties that show are Mask “Density” and “Feather”.I realize that the properties like Fill and Stroke are nestled in the top menu bar, but this seems very inconsistent with Shape Paths, which are essentially the same as Shapes.I would like be able to see all the properties that appear in the Properties panel, including Appearance (Fill, Stroke), Pathfinder, and Shape Properties.

Add the ability to paint brush strokes as lines, like in Fresco. When you draw a stroke in Fresco and hold at the end, a perfect line is drawn using your current brush. The only way to accomplish this now in Photoshop is to either Shift-tap (which draws a line from your starting point but with no indication like a rubber band) or to create a path then stroke the path with your brush. Both of these methods are outdated and cumbersome. The Fresco method is much easier and modern.

I'm using a high resolution monitor(2560x1600). As a result, all the the toolbar fonts and menu fonts are small and hard to see. I do not want to lower the screen resolution as this would defeat the purpose of this monitor.. Will the new CS6 have the ability to increase font sizes to accommidate Hi-Res monitors? Photoshop’s Timeline has significant potential as a lightweight animation and compositing environment. Many professionals use it for:  Frame-based animation Asset preparation for video editing Hybrid pipelines (Premiere / FCP / After Effects) Game and motion asset production   However, Timeline development appears stagnant, and UXP currently does not provide sufficient API access to support serious animation workflows. Ideally, we would like to see Timeline itself strengthened and modernized. But even before that, we urgently need official Timeline / Animation API support in UXP.  Why this matters  Photoshop is transitioning toward UXP-only extensibility.However, UXP currently cannot replace JSX for Timeline automation. Missing capabilities include:  Reliable playhead control Frame-accurate timing control Document duration access Frame rate access Stable batch frame adjustment Exposure of Timeline menu commands   This creates a serious migration blocker. Studios and ind

While I don't really use the 3D tools in PS, the Lighting Effects is very useful and important to me. I use this to create a light on my subjects in portraits. I really hope that this tool would not be removed from future PS. 

The “select people” is great, it’s amazing, because you can automate the selection of clothes, shoes, accessories and things like that… However, it only works if PS finds a face first…Sometimes, users need to use that tool but the photo is cropped and not showing a face, so it won’t detect any face, therefore not showing those options, “but they’re there”…People consider allowing us to select those things even if Photoshop didn’t detect a face first
