Adobe needs to fix the UI scaling in Photoshop. The Adobe ecosystem has different scaling for each and every app. Some work on high end Mac monitors - some do not.  Photoshop is an epic failure whereby the font size and icon sizes are miniscule. It is getting hard and harder to work in this app as the sizes are so offensively small. And PLEASE do not tell me to scale my monitor's resolution each and every time I want to use Photoshop - this mandates that after every session I have to manually re-set my desktop. This is NOT a workable solution. How is it that Illustrator can scale properly, ditto Bridge but Photoshop is a nightmare and everything is micro size. Please Adobe provide a fix this!!!!!!! Current Generative fill is a breakthrough, but can you make it even more advanced? Here's what I mean. Now we just add a text prompt and a new object appears.What if we need to match an image + a certain object from another image?Not an abstract hat, glasses, watch, car, etc., but the real ones? So, the advanced mode should make the following steps in 1 click:match the scale, perspective, colors & lighting for a realistic composite. Output: a layer with a mask (in case we need to make some manual adjustments).

I would like to be able to make a really good high-quality selection of an object by identifying it by name. I can do this with various machine learning nodes for awhile now in ComfyUI. Even with the Quick Selection tool it can be time-consuming to make good selections. The Select Subject and Select Sky modes work pretty well (the former better than the latter). It would be great to say "Select the dog in the bottom left" and then Remove it using the Remove button

Problem / Current Behavior:Currently, when using the Object Selection Tool's "Select Subject" feature, Photoshop recalculates the subject selection every time the tool is applied or re-activated on a layer. This occurs even if the layer’s pixel data has not been modified since the last calculation. This results in redundant processing time and workflow interruption, as the user must wait for the AI to re-analyze static data.Proposed Solution / Desired Behavior:Photoshop should cache the "Select Subject" calculation data for a specific layer in temporary memory. IF the layer is untouched (no pixel or mask modifications): The tool should instantly recall the previous subject selection without re-processing. IF the layer is modified: The cache is cleared, and the subject is re-calculated as normal. Benefit: Performance: Eliminates unnecessary wait times for re-analysis (especially on high-res files or when using Cloud processing). Workflow: Allows for a snappier, more responsive exper

Would be nice to have the neck included in skin smoothing, in the neural filters! Not only the face. 

Lets make a way to use photoshop text with added SFX and save it as a PSD file, then open the After effects software app, insert the photoshop text PSD file, transfer either driectly into the video or to the timeline, and then create a separate elipse tool circle within the after effects video, then combine both the custom photoshop PSD text file and the inner after effects elipse circle to create a custom rotating text via the anchor point.

Would love to have a perspective drawing tool for Photoshop

After working with Content Credentials in PS 2025 for a while I have the follewing sugegstions to make it truly workable. A number of features of the (Adobe or otherwise) Content Creation process seem to need improvement to produce a truly workable system. The present “select for each image” process is cumbersome and not conducive to inclusion in a PS action that is always run on opening a new image.PS and LR (and other software) need a Preferences parameter to set “always”, “ask” or “never” for the CC process. The current “click here” method is inadequate. If the process is to be required, then the installation default should be “always”.The CC condition needs to be permanent. That is, once turned on for an image, it remains on until deactivated.The CC panel also needs to retain previous settings (or set as preferences) and be permanently pinable to the workspace. Richard

Since the recent update of PS the placement of where to create a new solid colour has been moved and thrown me off multiple times as I use it regularly. It feels an odd choice to have made and would prefer it to revert to where it used to be in the layer menu.

Two+ years after the arrival of the new useful Shapes Patterns, Gradients or Swatches Panels, users still cannot find the legacy presets as they search in the Option bar local menu, or in the local menu of the Contextual (right-click) click on the image, instead of in the new panels.   Case in point: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/missing-patterns-in-fill-dialog/m-p/12824825/thread-id/630928#M630985   We never see such discussions for Brushes, for the legacy option exists in the Option bar local menu, in the local menu when they right-click on the image. (in addition to the Brushes panel)   Why do they search there? Because, before we got the new folders, that's where all the other sets were found. You cannot beat twenty years of muscle memory...    

So... one of the best Photoshop tools I've used for decades for color correction has been replaced overnight by a duplicate of "Color Balance." I can't simply no longer correct individual colors as I did intuitively before. Why has a tool that worked perfectly been destroyed? The change has been so disastrous and counterintuitive that I can only think it's a silly programming error!

I have been working with Adobe Photoshop (Illustrator, After Effects & Premiere Pro as well) for ~20 years. And over the last five it is a little curious to see so many updates to filters, generative tools, and advanced selection tools and almost literally nothing else. I like these changes and updates, don't get me wrong. But the basic workflow of the app feels positively archaic in 2025. A good example of a the kinds of circular and needlessly complicated routines PS still requires here: An example of a brutally segmented task that many people are familiar with below. It's something that sometimes I'll do from habit without thinking about. Hi Adobe team,I have a request regarding the Image Assets feature (Generate → Image Assets) in Photoshop.When exporting PNGs from artboards, the file is always exported as PNG-32 (RGBA), even if the artwork doesn’t need transparency.There’s currently no way to export PNG-24 (RGB, no alpha) when using artboards.For UI and game UI work, we sometimes need strict PNG-24 outputs, and having the export forced to 32-bit causes issues in certain pipelines.What’s happening now:Using artboards → PNG export is always 32-bit (RGBA)No option or syntax to generate PNG-24 through Image AssetsLeads to extra manual steps or external conversion toolsWhat I’m hoping for:Allow Image Assets to export PNG-24 (no alpha) when the artboard background is opaqueorProvide a setting/syntax to choose 24-bit or 32-bit per assetThis would be a big help for teams working with game engines or platforms that require strict PNG-24 assets.Hope this can be considered in a future update. Idea SummaryThe Problem: Closing a document, or the Photoshop program, before a background export is complete - e.g. Quick Export as PNG - results in no file being exported, and possible unrecoverable loss of progress.This is exacerbated by PNG saves/exports on Windows occasionally taking a 10+ seconds to complete, even for tiny, simple images (further details below).Proposed Solution: Please add a warning when closing a document, or the Photoshop program, if a background export is still in progress. I'm using the Rotate View tool at a specific rotation value to facilitate painting horizontal strokes.Although I can preview what's happening in normal orientation by tearing off the Navigator panel and enlarging it (thanks for that flexibility!), I also need to switch back and forth between orientations frequently, as some areas need to be worked differently.There has long been an easy reset (double-click the tool), and there is also a "Reset View" Button (thanks for that too!).But I am disappointed that I cannot make an action for Rotate View to my chosen angle.And per Jazz-y's answer to this post (reset view via scripting ), I understand that even scripting won't work, without conforming all documents.So I'd really appreciate it if Adobe would consider adding Action support, including the rotation value, to this tool.If not, I could live with Jazz-y's solution, moving all my reference docs to another app so they stay upright--but that script is for resetting to rotation 0. Hallo, seit dem Update auf Photoshop CC 2026 kann ich nicht mehr mit dem Mausrad durch die Liste der Ebenenmodi scrollen. In anderen Dropdown-Menüs (z. B. bei den Color Lookups) funktioniert das Scrollen jedoch problemlos. In früheren Versionen von Photoshop konnte ich einfach mit der Maus über die Liste fahren und mit dem Scrollrad durch die Modi wechseln. Ich habe bereits folgende Schritte ausprobiert, leider ohne Erfolg: Zurücksetzen der Voreinstellungen Neustart von Photoshop und des Computers Überprüfung der Eingabegeräteeinstellungen Test mit Trackpad und externer Maus Es scheint, als wäre diese Funktion in der neuesten Version entweder deaktiviert oder fehlerhaft. There was a popular thread with this request that I guess was locked after UserVoice was converted to the forum? https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-ideas/p-ability-to-choose-a-smart-object-s-interpolation-method-2013/idi-p/12249327 Anyway it's something that is pretty crazy that it hasn't been added in all this time. I imagine it would be a dropdown that could appear at the top when the Move tool is enabled. Here's the crazy thing: Nearest Neighbor scaling on smart objects is already possibly but only if you have it set as the Image Interpolation mode in the Preferences > General tab! So all that would need to be added for this feature is a dropdown setting and some kind of metadata property for the object on the backend to remember which interpolation method it was set to. Because unfortunately even if you change the default to nearest neighbor temporarily to rescale a specific smart object then change it back, if you go to rescale that

I think this would be a nice improvment for people who end up with 25 layers+ for a single picture. Instead of having to shift control alt E, and click back and forth on that layer to color pick. Sample all layers combined median is almost always to far off for minor pallete changes. If there is a way to do this already, then I haven't seen any videos on it.

option to choose background remover in video. grab a character and move and edit it within the video. It is important for me because I want consistent characters for my video, because without consistency 5 second video are of no use for me. with backgroung remover I can animate the character by image reference and then put it on my selected background.
