i work heavily with beauty brands and run a studio in New york, most of my clients replace the artokr on products wirth illustrator file, up until now ewe have been using the warp tool to tweak the artwork intothe correct perspective etc... ehowever ive seen a movck up tool in illustrator that seems pretty godd at solviong this. could we request a mock up tool for photshop too, so we can add artwork and labels etc to packaging and folllow the correct shape and form?
Adobe seems to have changed the checkboxes (for example, to sample all layers) away and replaced it with an on/off icon. However, it is difficult to easily determine if the icon is pressed or not. A checkbox is quite clear in showing the state of the toggle. I'd love to have the checkboxes back.
Just as stated in the title, I've been using PS since 3.0. I taught it in college for twenty-five years and I'm still waiting for this feature. I know you can do this. Frequently, I want to burn in just shadows, midtones or highlights, but being confined to black, or gray looks very unnatural. It would be so nice to sample the color in the area and use that color combined with gray to burn in just the shadows, midtones, or highlights. If there's a simple workaround already in PS, please let me know.
Dear Adobe Photoshop Team, I’d like to suggest enhancing Smart Objects by allowing users to use them as templates. However, if we could create Smart Object templates,it would be incredibly useful. Here’s how it could work:- i am making photomanipulation of 5 different ring on a model's hand. After making smart object i have adjusted everything ,size , levels and masking .Now i want to just copy paste my different photoshoot imges of rings in smart object .so that i dont have to readjust again and again.like a template .. hope u understand.. (feature like duplicate composition of after effect) if it helpful -paypal = whorajiv
Adobe should have built a brush manager into Photoshop decades ago, but never did. The OS cannot read .abr files. To say Photoshop's way of "browsing" the contents of .abr files (by individually loading each .abr file into Photoshop) is antiquated and clumsy is an understatement! There is a large community of painters and compositing artists who would appreciate an elegant way to navigate, view and directly load and unload brushes. My own Brush folder is 17.48 GB, with dozens of folders and subfolders populated with many .abr files. Please Adobe, can you give some love to the most important tool in Photoshop, and at least give us a way to quickly view the brushes in an .abr file without loading it into Photoshop?
I would love to see the sharpen tool become more of an enhance the detail and resolution tool.
I wish photoshop would suggest names based on what your document looks like, so if you are lazy you don’t end up with a bunch of untitled_jsbhjfbhj.psd files Could apply to any adobe product
Problem:A Photoshop file has numerous unlabeled layers, making it difficult to understand how the document is structured. Solution:An AI-powered helper that automatically labels layers based on their appearance and how each element fits into the overall composition. Example:Take a file with the following layers:"Lorem Ipsum""Vector Smart Object""Rectangle 2 copy 3""Layer 24""Rectangle 1""DSC01234" After applying auto-naming to each layer:"Lorem Ipsum" > "Visit the beach" (actual text)"Vector Smart Object" > "Decorative Element" (based on appearance)"Rectangle 2 copy 3" > "Horizontal Rule" (based on appearance and proximity to text layer)"Layer 24" > "QR Code" (based on appearance)"Rectangle 1" > "Footer" (based on appearance and position at bottom of canvas)"DSC01234" > "Tropical Beach" (based on appearance) Why this would be valuable:Working on files with unclear layer organization often leads to wasted time and reduced productivity. An AI-powered
We need the ability to edit (enable/disable) the 23 different file type extensions in the save menu of Photoshop. To any professional that saves 50-100+ photos a day, it is an excessive waste of our time to have a drop-down menu loaded with 19 options we don't need, where we have to search for the proper file type every time we want to save. While it only wastes 3-5 seconds on average for every photo, after 50-100 photos this time adds up and there is no legitimate excuse for it. Adobe needs to add an option under Edit > Preferences > File Handling, Under the "Enable Legacy Save As" option, where the 23 file extensions appear and we can check the box or uncheck the box for each file exentsion type. This menu should be customizable. There is no need to display 23 file types when the average user occupies less than 5.
When using Generative Fill, it would be great to be able to use the existing layer as the reference image, rather than having to use a previously saved one.
I'm getting a little annoyed at the warning spam telling me I'm not allowed to share a license. I have 2 seats across 4 computers that serve different purposes and I'm logging in and out of them all the time, but every time I do I get warning spam because the algorithm thinks I might possibly be letting another human fiddle with photoshop (or whatever). It doesn't even do anything, it just forces me to a website that I close without reading because I've been pushed there 100 times. Here's my idea: keep track of who has received your message to and stop interrupting me when I swap machines. I pay my bills, Adobe is not invited into my workflow beyond that.
The price of Photoshop standalone is too high, and the pricing structure for the suites is too complicated.
Love it. Certain it will further evolve. Can there be a button to clear filter?

Please add the option to increase/decrease the brush tool size with 1px (or custom) increments using key commands. This is a long overdue feature! I find regularly adjusting the brush tool in small amounts crucial when retouching and it's pretty laborious doing it the current way.
Photoshop desperately needs the very basic addition of bleed and slug, margins on Document Setup and also crop/trim marks on export to pdf. Why have a 'Print' setup section if it doesn't change anything but the colour preset, it's powerless right now. I'll bet every user of Ps out there is sick of adding bleed margins manually to their work and then moving a document to InDesign purely for that purpose of adding trim marks to then export a pdf. Waste of time, let's fix this asap please Adobe.
1. Description; I have a sign business and have to design very large files for print. For wide formatt printing the files standard is 150 dpi at size.....the file can be a pdf or a jpg. As we all know there is a limit on pdf sizes but up until now I used to be able to flatten a file and save as a jpg regardless of size. Not now. I have been all over google and adobe trying to figure out how to still do that. After 3 hours of frustration I called tech support and the kind woman got on my computer. She had to save as a copy but could only save it at 100 dpi. In this case it is for a big banner on a football field and the resolution will be ok from a distance. But we also do murals where it must be 150 dpi. 2. Value - This is going to screw with my industry. I am begging you to please bring back save as legacy files...so I can save large jpgs. I am not sure at this point if I am even going to remember how the tech support did this for me. I hoping you make this change. Thank yo

Introducing dark background menus for Photoshop. Introducing a dark background menu for PhotoshopThe existing Photoshop menu background is white, which looks very uncomfortable in dark modeIn dark mode, the menu background should be dark with Gaussian blur and a beautiful shadow to match the overall dark interface
Dear Adobe Photoshop Community,I hope this message finds you well. My name is Carlos Carpio, and I am a dedicated user of Adobe Photoshop, regularly exploring its powerful features to create and refine digital art. I am excited to share an idea that could elevate the inpainting capabilities of Photoshop, providing users with a more efficient and seamless editing experience through advanced AI integration.Concept Overview:The core of my idea is to enhance Photoshop’s inpainting tool by incorporating a sophisticated AI interpreter, similar to GPT-Vision, to ensure that the reconstructed parts of an image maintain consistency in style, dimensions, and overall context with the original image.Proposed Enhancement Steps:Full Image Analysis:Action: When the user selects an image for editing, the AI captures and analyzes a full screenshot of the image. This enables the AI to understand the image’s style, color palette, dimensions, and context.Purpose: Build a comprehensive understanding of the
Hair, beard, eyebrows, teeth, and eyes exist as presets. We need one for fingernails. So often, a woman pic has her in great outfits and makeup, and then her hands look like an NFL linebacker. Making those fingernails look normal, or even polished or French manicures, etc., would be great! Help! Thank you.
In Ilustrator and InDesgin it's super easy: there is a button in the interface (swap fill and stroke) and a keyboard shortcut (Shift X), in Photoshop: nothing. It would be great to be able to quickly swich the colors around because the most common 2 things I use for shapes are:- a line (where i need a fill) - a rectangular frame (where i need a stroke)so when i need to switch between a line and a frame i keep having to fiddle in the top mini-buttons interface: select the color from the recent swatches for a stroke, and selecting "none" for the fill >> that's 6 clicks!! It takes me out of my flow, is there a way to do this faster like in Illustrator/InDesign? And if not: how do I suggest this improvement to the developers?
Whenever I do a 'Save a Copy...' I only ever use PSD, PNG, TIFF or JPG. There are many formats in the "Save as type" pop-up menu, and it'd be lovely to be able to group them somehow, so I never inadvertently, for example, select JPS instead of JPG. That way, I could have my most commonly used formats at the top of the menu, then a divider line, and all the other formats (that I never use) below that. I'm sure I'm not alone in only ever using a few file formats.
