Feature Requests

I request a view option be added to the Liquify feature that would allow me to view the image inverted. This would be very helpful for me since I liquify masks often and find it difficult to view the content when it looks like a negative. 

Basically, I use this feature in windows 10 on 80% Strength and I wanted to use the exact filter settings in photoshop. I don't want similar, I want the exact settings Windows 10 has used to create the filter.So, I was going to create a new plugin just for myself but thought others may use it as well.first I tried to see if it has been done before, no.then I tried searching in windows for any possible related file and found a "warmup.dll"in C:\Windows\WinSxS then clicking on the folder  wow64_microsoft-windows-iis-appwarmupOtherwise, could photoshop just ask Microsoft nicley to use it?

I love the 24.7 Beta PS. I often use the crop tool to add "real estate" around my image and most often use the content aware fill option. The Fill dropdown has two options: default and content aware fill. Each time I open PS I need to set this to "content aware fill" because the default is "default" - which will just add blank spaces.As long as I keep PS open my setting in the fill dropdown remains at content aware fill. But as soon as I close PS it reverts back to the default - default. I would to be able to set "content aware fill" in preferences so that I do not have to set this each time I open PS. 

This is a great feature, but unfortunately it works only with rasterized layers.For a non-destructive workflow it should work with Smart objects (as a smart filter).So that we could just double click & adjust the selected area or/and the applied color. Alternatively, it could be transformed into an Adjustment layer. 🙂sample image from freepik.com

I work with files that contain numerous layers. It is very difficult to navigate through the layers and groups because there is no clear distinction between them. Simply changing the color of a small portion of the layer is not sufficient. I propose a solution where the entire layer row will be highlighted with an individual color, rather than just at the beginning of the row.

A feature to remove flyaways would be helpful.

there should be an option to batch export the generative layers output. im saving one by one currently i have 3 gen layers going at the moment 180 frames of an animation to be. im on 35/180 im commited to the game but it would be great to be able to export them with one click. maybe the gen layer can be converted to a group and every new variation gets its own layer??? k rant over hope i make the cut. lol

HelloI would like to suggest to the Adobe team to consider adding an option in photoshop that might be helpful The simplified operation is in the attached picture.    

Sometimes I receive a photoshoot of e.g. a building and I need to edit it by adding greenery where we don't have greenery yet (because it is winter). In this case I would like to add the same greenery on all my different images to make it look as realistic as possible. If I use the generative fill now on each image seperately, all images of the same topic will have a different fill.It would be great to use the same fill for all my images in the photoshoot.

For those of us rendering images in 3D, we use a lot of render passes as masks to select, remove etc. If I remove something from the image, but I have an alpha mask (generated from the 3D software before taking it into PS) applied to that layer, I still have the outline of the removed object (removed with PS remove tool) in my alpha mask. Could the Remove Tool also be made to work on masks? My current work around is to copy the alpha as a new image layer and just use the remove tool on that, then copy paste it in as a mask again, but since remove tool works fine on black and white images, it would be easier if it just worked directly in masks.

I want to convert multiple .jpg to .webp file. I added the extension for .webp to Photoshop. As a web designer I receive (product) photos from photographers that I then process into .webp files. At the moment I run it manually. Can this operation also be done in bulk?

Please add back the gradient tool as it was. This new version is neither helpful, and upgrade, or time effecient  it doesn't seem to work on layer masks, why would you take such a flexible option away ? it doesn't seem to make multiple gradients on a single layer, in fact, it doesn't work on the layer system at all . Again, why make something harder? upgrades are supposed to help work flow, not hinder it. Why on earth did you not just create a different "smart gradient" tool, because you really have created something entirly different and not an upgrade to an existing tool   today i rolled back my upgrade because i actually couldn't get my work done with this new tool. please take that to heart - a 20+ in the field photoshopper couldn't get her work done efficiently with this "upgrade" i would very much appreciate it if the next "upgrade" included a legacy gradient tool so that i may have the function back without having to live without any upgrades to the program. Hello, I think Photoshop, and all Adobe products would be much faster if there were an option to toggle a command line, into which you could type any menu item or select any tool. I use this in Rhino, AutoCAD and other programs, and it speeds up my workflow tremendously, and is easier and more efficient than having to set and memorize keyboard shortcuts. I am on Windows so the "search" function people talk about on the Mac doesn't work, but people also I think a command line which you don't have to click and navigate to each time you want to enter a command, but rather is on standby at all times would be more efficient anyways.  Best,Paul 

Hello, I'm a visually impaired Photoshop user and would benefit from an option to have an all black color theme, rather than simply a very dark gray. As with many other low vision users, my eyes are sensitive to light, and being able to make everything as dark as possible helps me to have a more comfortable workflow in Photoshop.  Alternatively, Photoshop could also integrate with Windows Contrast Themes, so that users custom accessibiltiy settings for vision could be applied to Photoshop. Thanks,Paul 

Hello, I was wondering if you guys could take the 'Save for Web' out of the Legacy column (found under file/export/save for web. I use this feature contantly because it's the only one I can manipulate enough to consolidate a 48mb file down to a 1mb file and not lose any of the quality in the picture. I'm so afraid you guys are going to take that away and I'll be forced to work with huge files only. Thanks for listening!

Photoshop beta is missing all the action  from the regular photoshop.its will be effective to transfer also the action in one click to photoshop beta.

Suggestion: anti-aliased checkbox for vertex paths and shapes. I want to draw a Shape, eg a star, with hard pixellated edges, while keeping it in vector form. As far as I can tell, the only way to draw a star with hard pixellated edges is to rasterize it by:- drawing the shape as Pixels (anti-alias checkbox at the top)- using Make Selection (anti-aliased checkbox in popup dialog)- stroking the vector shape with the pencil tool But I don't want to rasterize. I want to keep my shape as a vector path, so I can edit vertices later without loss of quality. There are other layers in the file that must be aliased; only this one needs to be pixellated. It will be used for a hard-edged Unity mask, so I need to see exactly where the pixels will be on or off once it is cut up and layered with a border and other elements in Unity.

Colour adjustments would be good ad hint of colour

It would be helpful if an inbuilt screen recorder could be added to Photoshop. What I mean by this is, if there could be a recorder which records each stroke of the brush as a different frame. When you are done with your illustration, an export button could give a popup asking for fps and other options. After this is done, the images would be put together to form a fluid animation. The recorder would work in a way that even after closing the app and opening it again, it would still be able to recorder starting from where you left off. I am only suggesting this because I used to use Krita which would have this feature and I found it very fun to use. Another potential advantage of this is that many artists like to post time-lapses like this on their social media.
