Hi. I thought that this would be an obvious question, but how come we can't warp a selection in more than one layer at once? I could expand that question to the Transform function without it selecting the boundaries of the whole document? Crikey, it's been like this for 20 years or so. Time for an improvement perhaps.
I think it would be a great improvement if I could sample colors from my CC Library anywhere within Photoshop. Presently, for example, if I am editing a Gradient Overlay for a layer and I want to change a color to one I have already defined in my Library I can't! I can click on the swatch I want but it doesn't translate to the color picker for the gradient I am trying to edit. So I have to hover over and look for the hex value and manually type that in. This seems so counter-intuitive to the way the Library should work. Yes I can set the foreground color, but that is only in the toolbar and that doesn't help while I am editing a Layer Style.
Hey there, I am a windows user and I would like to utter some things that I mind in Photoshop respectively features that I would welcome in a future version of Photoshop: 1.) The gradient-tool is great but why don´t you just display it as a line, with 2 dots at the end, that stays on the screen so you can adjust the gradient more comfortable. In my opinion it is laborious to re-draw the gradient over and over again just to make a tiny change because the line disappears every time. 2.) My workflow could be accelerated if I would dispose over the opportunity to press the mouse wheel and drag in order to move / execute the same function as the hand-tool (letter H) respectively space bar + left mouse key. 3.) Press "U" and draw a shape. If you want to give the shape a border it will be set to a weird spiky style border by default. Why is that and who does not change it to the first option in the drop down menu (which is the normal contour)? Wouldn´t it be smarter to se
Photoshop does not support HEIC images that are created using the new iOS?? I'm sure Apple didn't keep it a secret. Sounds like another pissing match between Adobe and Apple. Grow up and act like adults and support HEIC.
Photoshop is wicked smaht and so are it's wicked smaht objects.
I don't know why but it's deleting pixels inside the selected area I made by left clicking while holding ctrl in and clicking on the layers image icon to make the selectionand when I go to paint them back in it goes outside the selection area..My usual fix for it is first making a copy of the layerthen hiding the originalhitting ctrl J heaps of times to make copies then ctrl E to compile them(there had to be an easier way to get pixels back like this cause it wastes so much time)making a selection from the original image whilst on the copiled copy layerhitting inverse and then hitting delete, same problem.is there a setting i'm missing to specifically delete inside or outside the selection area if I selected inverse or not?
is it possible to have dynamic teslation for painting in photoshop so that when you paint with smaller size brush, locally have more pixel?
Hello everyone,Please tell me that I'm missing something because I simply can not accept the fact that there's no NCS color swatch in Photoshop? How can this world renowned program not have this as a standard indexing feature? Loads of my clients use NCS colours when asking me to visualize something, I know there's a page online where you can get a an ACS file I think, but that isn't indexed.BR,// Adam
Photoshop gives you an alert when it "cannot locate linked assets" but doesn't alert you when there are modified linked assets. InDesign warns you when there are modified files, so it doesn't make sense that Photoshop wouldn't. This would be a great feature to add and it's extremely surprising to me that it hasn't been added already.
I wish that Photoshop content-aware fill would automatically spoil patterns. At the momoent content-aware fill will look around and copy and paste from the area around thearea that is being filled and does a good job but I then have to go back and check that there are not duplicateobjects that can be easily identified. This should be done automatically or at leasta button on the content aware interface should give the user the opportunity to havePhotoshop look after that or not. It should check its own work. Where it finds an obviousduplication it should 'spoil' the pattern by looking around again and finding somethingit can put over duplication as a spoiler.
Adobe should develop an AI-powered program for automatically adjusting the tones of black and white negative film. The software would be very useful for museums, newspaper photo archives and other photo archives that have millions of negatives waiting to be digitized.
FEATURE REQUEST:Just like Premiere and After Effects, Photoshop needs a local auto-save feature that saves X number of backups every X minutes to a default or user-defined location. It should do this for embedded smart objects as well. I do not understand how we've come this far into the futre without this functionality yet. Humans move fast, humans make mistakes, Photoshop should mitigate these mistakes like Premiere and After Effects have been doing for decades with their autosave features. Today marks probably 30 hours of total work I've lost over the years because Photoshop still doesn't have this functionality. I'm aware of Adobe Cloud backups, but I'm dealing with 6gb PSB's that would clog my network bandwidth if constantly autosaving to the cloud, I presume. Is Adobe Cloud the reason for the lack of local autosaves and I just need to start using it?
Hi,I am very sad that you are planning to remove normal map tool from Photoshop. I'm making a game and creating a large amount of textures (PBR materials), in my opinion they're top quality and photorealistic, and I tested many most popular programs for materials, and all of them ended up being just useless time-wasting things with gimmic tools. Photoshop lets me create photorealistic materials exactly how I want, and doesn't do this and that thing with some weird algorithm, so I have to fix it by hand for half an hour then because it creates artifacts, every time. To be concrete I'm talking about the tool that makes a texture tileable, in Adobe 3D sampler.I'm sure that MANY people have this opinion and are using the normal map tool in Photoshop. Just search ''how to create a normal map'' on Youtube, almost all of the videos are in Photoshop...If somebody wants to see, I can post renders of the materials I've made 🙂 As I said it was the best quality/speed method.
Dear AdobeMany creatives use and rely on your products. We also are often working on proffesional copyrighted or non disclosure work. I and I'm sure many others would really appreciate if adobe created a neural filter similar to glaze right inside photoshop so that our creations arent taken without consent and fed into competing products. This would also fit really nicely with your products to protect image provinance, and fight fake news. While Glaze was a great first step, those 6 university developers simply dont have the resources to meet the demands of all us creatives. Thanks for reading.
GIF dosen't support alpha transparency, it dosen't support high color, it dosen't support a ton of things, and I think you should add APNG support to your png library.
Unblur feature that works the exact same way as AI apps.I am having to export my images and open them in app.remini.ai website and it totally perfects blurry faces without issue and its a lifesaver.Photoshop should be advanced enough now to have this feature and would be superb to have it and works well, sharpening tool just doesnt cut it. Please Adobe check out app.remini.ai/ and implement this fantastic feature for us 🙂
Hey what's up, is it possible to let photoshop automatically show you the HEX code of the pixel you are currently hovering above? I am doing a task where I have to know every single HEX code for every pixel/area and it takes quite a bit always having to use the eyedropper tool and reading out the code from the color wheel, so it would be way more convenient to get that information just by hovering your cursor above the pixel Thank you in advance
I Use LUTs a lot, so I have many different. It would be convinient for me to have an arrow to change LUTs instead of having to click every tima in the droplist to change them to preview the results. Adding an arrow or being able to navigate through LUTs using the keyboard arrows would make my workflow a lot faster.
So we could have our own custom filter that we could specify certain group as inputs . Turning height into normal map for example, or doing edge detect from certain layer beneath. Or doing image displacement based on some some rgb values of other layer. RG for vector and B for distance. All this is working in Substance Painter . Why not do it same way in Photoshop which I so much prefer to Painter or Sampler for tillable textures. Especially after pattern preview emerged.
Even with tools such asFile -> Automate -> Batch -> Default Actions -> Save As Photoshop PSDFile -> Scripts -> Image Processor -> Save As PSD, working with multiple .psd files can still get messy. My proposal is a new filetype like a 'project container'. What it might look like (this mockup is basically a stack of three psd icons)Simply put, it's an archive file for Photoshop files. Open it, and every .psd file within is opened in Photoshop. Rename it as .zip and individual .psd files can be extracted like a normal archive.
My suggestion is regarding the "Straighten Tool (A). Double click to straighten automatically" under Crop & Rotate in Adobe Camera Raw (probably pertains to Lightroom as well). As of now, you can straighten multiple images at the same time, but this works only for series of images with the same tilt angle (e.g. I need to straighten all images by 15 degrees). However, ACR does not recompute for different tilt angles, only copies the change in the main image to the other ones. Unfortunatelly, when you are editing hundreds of images that are all tilted under different angles, you have to double click to straighten for each of them separately. Double clicking the Straighten Tool is by all means a time saver in most cases, but having to do this with each image is quite time-consuming. I understand that automatic straightening of dozens or even hundreds of images might take a big amount of computing power, but it would be a great feature to have and would save a huge amoun
It is as simple as it sounds. Feels very restricted without it. This should be a built in feature, please add in asap! I've learned PS for two years, this is one of the reasons I don't subscribe often.
Is it possible to automatically change the Units and Rulers preferences based on the workspace you're using when you open photoshop? ie. Automatically changing the units and rulers to pixels if you're working on a digital or web document, then changing to millimetres when working on print documents. At the moment this has to be changed manually. Which can be a headache when you're constantly switching between print and digital documents. This feature is available in Indesign and Illustrator but not photoshop. Cheers!
I use just ipad photoshop and I have to change my mockups on my iPad photoshop. But this feature has no. I m shocked please improve this app. Because there are many people use just iPad. This feature must be.
