P: Support scalable user interface UI for high resolution monitors

I'm using a high resolution monitor(2560x1600). As a result, all the the toolbar fonts and menu fonts are small and hard to see. I do not want to lower the screen resolution as this would defeat the purpose of this monitor.. Will the new CS6 have the ability to increase font sizes to accommidate Hi-Res monitors?

Thanks

Chris has also removed several of my poignant and on-topic remarks.

Chris, I read the response by Adobe. However, it was a year old. I had worked with an Adobe tech support rep this week for about 90 minutes who wasn't aware there was a hi def monitor issue. When I found out from the computer manufacturer tech rep that the problem was with QHD (resolution 3200 x 1800), I spoke again with the Adobe tech. He tried very hard but ended up transferring me to someone "more likely to know about what was in the pipeline about this issue." He also was unaware of the problem and supposedly asked others. The final result is that he sais he would put in a request for a fix, suggested I do so as well, but that he knew of nothing being done at this time. So it is not a question of not reading prior posts or talking with Adobe. I just bought a vey expensive computer with large hard drive for working with photos and can't read the Photoshop screen.

Wow. Negative comments related to this issue are being removed by Photoshop employees. I guess they dont want people to know that Photoshop doesnt work on high resolution monitors. The reason stated for removing my post was "completely unrelated." How about "100% on the money - Photoshop doesn't work well with high resolution monitors on Windows based machines." Oh, but that is Microsoft's fault.

Chris Im just looking for a solution - not looking to read message boards. I read the posts here. Summary: Photoshop is currently useless on high resolution monitors. I kind of cant believe I'm typing those words.

What. A. Joke.

Sure, if you are talking about Roxio Creator. But what do you replace Photoshop with, and the 100's of hours learning it? Photoshop is paid for so it is a sunk cost. Adobe has also known about this for 3 years and has not escalated this until recently so Adobe has taught us not to hold our breath. My laptop is brand new and not fit for use due to this issue so it is going back. I specifically purchased this state-of-the-art laptop with a highres display to run Photoshop and am very disappointed.

Chris, why doesn't Adobe post this issue on their subscription page? Save us newbie's a lot of grief. I was told by a chat technician, prior to purchasing, there were no issues with high resolution display in the CC subscription set. Reality proved him wrong.

When I have old software that won't run on modern, desirable hardware, I try to replace the old software before retrogressing my hardware. It is not your hardware that is useless.

We are still working with Microsoft to get the OS issues fixed.

Too late, I am returning my 13" $1500 ultabook that I purchased to do mobile photoshop as it has a 2500dpi display. Useless.

Im having the same problem. High resolution monitor on my ultrabook, and Photoshop - supposedly the best photo editing software - is basically useless unless I want to go blind trying to look at such ridonculously tiny text and windows.

It is pretty astounding that Adobe has not fixed this. It is as if it is uncommon that someone would want to use a high resolution monitor with Photoshop!
