I really don't know if this bothers anyone else. Still, in earlier versions of PP, 2022 and below, the transform effect when placed in a graphic layer only affected the text and shape layers under it, priority-based. It helped that you could create a text or object animation using the Transform effect to achieve Motion blur while still having a shape mask over the text or object.But in the recent PP versions, regardless of where the transform effect is placed, priority-wise, it affects all of the layers, which means trying to animate a text or an image whilst having a mask would no longer work, because the transform effect would animate every layer, including the mask even if it were placed under them. The only workaround is to use the transform properties of the intended text or object and lose that beautiful motion blur that comes with it

The ability to use the mouse scroll and the button to move and zoom around in Premiere Pro just like After Effects, this feature has been added in the latest update, but it's limited to the program monitor, what if it is extended to the rest of the panels :))

I would love to have real motion blur in Premiere like you can do in After Effects. A native "Force Motion Blur" plugin would be great. I want motion blur when I do speed ramps, and it's a pain to take the clip to After Effects each time.

Being able to manually select channels for transcription would be really useful. Not just one or all. A box to check which channels you want: Channel 1 (x)Channel 2 (x)Channel 3 (x)Channel 4 

In large-scale documentary projects it's really useful to keep the original TC visible for reference in all stages of editing (from rough cut to final cut). When you make a rough cut using the text-based editing tool a new time code is created (from 00:00:00), but it would be really useful to preserve the original TC as well. A lot of producers print out transcripts on paper or create their own documents outside the editing room. So keeping the original TC visible in text-based editing could be really valuable.

Please add compatibility with CDng footage.

Currently it is very difficult to keep timeline markers in sync with the clips in the timeline. They will only shift position with clips when using ripple edits. They cannot by lassoed as a group and are not selected when using track selection tool. The only way to select multiple markers at once is by using command(mac) + click in the marker panel to select multiple markers one at a time. This is tedious when dealing with lots of markers. The captions track is good model for how markers could work. Captions exist in their own track unique from a normal video track. The track is neatly tucked into the top of the timeline, and yet they can easily be selected and moved along with clips. It would be great if markers had a comparable "track" to sit in so they could be easily selected and move along with clips in the timeline. As it is, when use markers to break up different sections of a timeline - let's say if I'm organizing an assembly using markers to indicate certain sections

I would love an option for selection tools to grab timeline markers. This way timeline markers could be lassoed along with clips or included in a selection when using the track select tools so that the timeline markers move in sync with clips. Yeah I get it, there is one under transform, but it's clunky and backwards. Anchor points are competing between the motion tab and transform, it's extra steps and the UI is just archaic. Doesn't work well with multiple keyframes and so on. Is it really that hard to listen to the growing feedback from the community and write a few lines of code to incorporate the feature?? Just add the darn thing to the motion tab. Heck add that setting under every effect, just like you did with masking. Add it to the text. I'll take it a step further, you should also incorporate a decent graph, similar to the one in AE and a few other very basic AE features. The graphs in premiere are extremely archaic and lack finesse. It's 2024, come on now. AI features are great but we also need precission and not have to keep jumping to the dynamic AE link for every basic thing out there. I can't stand these interactive handles. I keep accidentally creating a cut and long dissolve when I'm just trying to move clips around or change the length of a clip. How do I turn these off?   Mod note: Your post was branched from an announcements post. A new title was added.

I wrote down the last feedback post, but I write additional inconveniences as I try to use it live-action. 1. In the case of fade handles, pull corners to inform you that this is a useless update regarding where you are using it.First of all, it was the best and fastest way to put in the fade handle using the shortcut key, and rather, after the update, I accidentally put in the fade when adjusting the length of the layer or moving the layer.It was also inconvenient that it could not be deleted as a delit if you used the corners to put in the fade. 2. The new update has sort of destroyed my workflow and I just wanted to let Adobe know how insanely inconvienant these updates are. The specific issue I need help with is with scrubbing through footage in the source monitor. Previously I would highlight the source monitor and use my mouse wheel to scrub through footage quickly. The mouse wheel even unlocks and scrolls at high speeds. I review tons of footage so this function is everything to me. Now, I can only do this when the mouse is hovering over the section right above the play button. Meaning, whereas I used to use the entire monitor to perform this function, now its an insanely small window. If I scroll anywhere else in that area it just resizes the footage. This is causing me to resize the footage most of the time when all I want is to scrub the footage. Then I have to go back and resize before continuing to scrub. Why would I want to resize the footage that often instead of scrubbing? The scroll speed seems to have been tuned do

Please add denoiser ( better GPU accelerated) in to PP 2024.It is so strange... PP is equipped with VR Denoiser but there is no normal Denoiser)))Do Adobe Marketing Team checking stats what the percentage of VR videos is posted against normal video?I think VR videos on YouTube even not 1%.So Denoiser for normal video is "must have" in every professional NLE 

I'd really like to see a keyboard shortcut to apply a ripple edit  tool (B) only to one selected track, the same as pressing "shift" when using the "select forward" (A) tool. Currently that is only possible by locking all other tracks or individually toggeling off "sync lock" for all tracks which slows down my workflow a lot when I rapidly need to switch back and forth between needing the ripple edit tool to affect all tracks and only one specific track, for example when I'm editing animatics and need to match the duration of  storyboard panels to voice recordings that have already been set up in the timeline. As a very smilar feature already exists for the "select forward" tool I can't imangine this would be particular hard to implement and would make my life (and probably others) a whole lot easier. 

So, I've been using Premier Pro for 15 years now, and you'd think I'd remember, but I still get confused with the Position Controls in Effect Controls. I should remember that the numbers on the left are for side-to-side, and the right is for up and down, but I ALWAYS get them confused. It would help me a lot (and I'm sure a lot of others) if we had little arrows showing the direction the values would move the picture.  See sample (red used for effect).

In the current version, the speakers can be separated during voice transcription, but the create captions is still combined together.And you can't select one of the speakers for create captions through the filter in the transcription window.Suggest to add the option to separate the speakers when create captions

I'm looking for a multicam settings and/or plugin to help with some multi cam footage.So Google Hangouts (and probably more video conferencing software) has this feature that makes a specific person who is talking the focus video. I was wondering if there is something like that for Adobe? I want to create a multi cam sequence, but depending on what audio channel is doing the talking, switch to that channel.So if i have 2 videos in multicam sequence, if the audio in video 1 starts to get past a certain threshold, switch to that camera angle, until video 2 meets that threshold (and vice versa)OR- if something like that doesnt exist, can you point me in the direction of making plugins so i can try creating it myself.

I wanted to provide some feedback regarding the recent changes to the Color Label & waveform display in the latest version of Premiere.In the new version, I find that the Color Label & waveform design lacks the clarity and visual appeal of the previous version. The previous layout was more intuitive and easier to navigate, making the editing process smoother and more efficient.I kindly request reconsideration of the design elements to align more closely with the previous version. Bringing back the previous layout would greatly enhance the user experience and maintain consistency for longtime users like myself.Thank you for considering this feedback. I appreciate your dedication to improving Premiere and look forward to future updates.

Sometimes a source video has 48.000 hz audio.   Exporting to MP3 from Premiere gives some options (like changing the kbps say from 256 to 128) but not to change the sample rate, these are not the same thing.   The resulting MP3 ends up with whatever sample rate the source had, this is fine but it gives compatibility issues with some applications like Adobe Animate which do not accept 48.000 hz audio. Web content in many instances is also limited to 44.100 hz max.   Either let us choose the sample rate ourselves or cap it to 44.100 hz for this specific format.

The problem:After the transsciption of a 1 hour interview you end up with a very, very, very long text that is hard to read. Unfortunately the PP text window doesn´t have any formatting options, so text structuring  is pretty hard and confusing.  Solution:Text highlighting colors  like in word would help extremely to get a better overview of the content. The different colors of the text formatting should then also generate the corresponding colored edits on the timeline. Such a workflow could speed up interview editing tremendously - expecially In combination with the color select and editing options of the  timeline.  So please give the text window some basic formatting functions (bold / roman / highlight colors...) like in any other word editor. 

PS, AI, ID, and many other Adobe apps already support advanced text features. It would be nice to be able to access stylistic alternates for example. I may choose certain fonts because they contain an alternate with a special number 0 that makes it easier to separate from the letter O. In other Adobe apps this is trivial. Is there a reason it can't be done in PP?

Would love the ability to resize caption tracks in the timeline panel the way you do with audio and video tracks. They are so small compared to other tracks I often over looking them when moving thing around and they come out of sync or get deleted. Releated note is the ability to keep them synced to the relevent clip with something like linked selection.

Add a Watch Folder feature, where footage are automatically imported if added to a specific watch folder
