Not sure if with the new update there is a way but, is there a tool or setting to auto-straighten the horizon line for a clip in Premiere Pro?  I know the new Auto Re-frame Sequence setting is pretty awesome, seems like adobe could program ai to recognise the horizon line and keep it level the whole clip. 

Frame IO - Can a "Status" feature be added to let the editor know that the client / reviewer is finished making comments? This would be something that the "reviewer" would change the status of the video from Needs Review to something like "Comments Completed". I don't know what the exact wording should be.    

NO VIDEO CAPTURE IN A VIDEO EDITING SOFTWARE  For on set editors/spot editors and live event editors premium pro was very usefull untill adobe decided to withdraw the "CAPTURE" option from premium pro  is there any means that this Capture Option would be brought back in feature versions of premium pro?

it will be very useful if you can let us rotate the video material in project pannel from horizontal to vertical as ther is a lot of rcorded video is been catched in vertical model using l shape gimble and its been shown in premiere in horizontal and we cant rotatet it to see it the project pannel

Sample rate of 32,000 Hz not supported I am susing a Logitech C922 Webcam pro (with two microphones) on a mac. Audio output from this device is 32,000 Hz. Cannot use this device as the minmum input allowed is 44,100 HZ. The above Webcam is a poular device.

It dawned on me that text based editing could allow for Large Language model integration, by letting the large language model, for example Chat GPT go through the transcript, select parts of it that are nonsense "for example i have a hickup mid sentence" deletes it and this way it automates the entire editing process for talking head videos.  Ive already been able to create automations in premiere which prove increadibly usefull for producing content but this would be the next logical step.If tekst based editing was altered slighty whereby if we input a corrected script and thus highlights the parts which are now mismatched i think this could be easily achieved. let me know what you think, is this already possible with a work around, or are we stuck in the past... you can have the idea adobe and if you implement it i promise i wont switch to DaVinci Resolve...

So I have 15 short ads made for Google Performance Max (landscape 1200x628). Once approved they have to be reframed for TikTok (portrait 720x1280).   If I use Auto Reframe Sequence to convert GPM to TT using the (9x6) preset, then Premiere Pro sets the sequence size to 353x628 because it (understandably) looks at the shortest side of the landscape (628) to set the longest side of the portrait. In other words, PP does not allow you to upscale your sequence - it assumes that your footage is already at the optimal resolution and won't go any larger. In this case that is a wrong assumption - mine has all been shot in 4K and I have plenty of scaling room. 'Custom scale' doesn't work either - it always downscales, never preserving or upscaling.In this situation, I now have to manually change the sequence settings of 15 ads to my required size and then manually upscale all the various clips, graphics, adjustment layers etc. 🙎 I might as well have done it manually.So this isn

I have created a Gaussian blur mask at the first frame in a segment and traced it to the end of the segment creating key frames.  I am now fine tuning the mask but it comes to a key frame where bezier handles are shown.  How do I get rid of the bezier handles so I can tune the mask by just shangin the size/shape of the oval?  

The toggle case keyboard shortcut should be usable when editing the text of a transcript. (MAC: Shift+Fn+F3 PC: Shift+F3) Transcription can't identify every proper noun and it would save so much time.

I've found the text-based editing feature to be very helpful on many projects, but I've noticed it doesn't register when someone says "UM" in the audio transcription.    I was just curious if anyone else noticed this or if it's just me.

Reverse Match Frame currently moves the playhead to hover over the clip's matching point in the current timeline, but it requires an extra click to actually make the Timeline Panel the "active" panel. I have literally never used the Reverse Match Frame function without immediately clicking over into the Timeline panel - it should work exactly opposite to the Match Frame function, which moves the playhead in the Source Monitor AND makes the Source Monitor the "active" panel, cutting out the mouse-click middleman. 

Bidirectional linking in Productions or like short-cuts!Two-way connection between files/folders/.prproj that allows users to browse in either direction! this way you don't have to create a copy of any of these files. or just make an API into something like Notion appThey could put this into Adobe Bridge! Bridge has made some breakthroughs over the last few years with their updated features but its still super basic compared to where they could or should be today. I am praying that Adobe will really step up its game in this part. You can't imagine the stress I go through on a daily basis trying to find a workaround for these things.this is why Adobe should call me on the phone, I could really help them take their product to the next level.

I would like to be able to set the blending mode for each layer in Essential Graphics. The current blending mode can only be adjusted using the video opacity setting. For example, even if you want to set the blending mode Multiply to the bottom layer of an Essential Graphic that uses multiple layers, it will be set to all layers. If you can set it on individual layers, the range of designs will expand, so please consider updating.   [text: rendering changed to blending by mod]

It would be really convenient if you could target where clips will land in the edit timeline from the source timeline.  The current behaviour is that you first select which tracks in the source timeline you want inserted/overwritten, then you have to toggle over to the edit timeline and chose from there what tracks  those source timeline clips will land on. If this could all be set from within the source timeline that would be more efficient, as you would have the confidence of knowing where your clips will land without toggling between the two timelines. 

Loving the new audio features in the Beta, although editing with them at the moment is somewhat quirky.One thing I would love to see is a visual representation of Audio Gain in the timeline - you can see clip keyframe, track keyframes and now audio effect but unless I'm missing something, there is no way to see Audio Gain. Often an assistant might add a blanket gain value across a whole bin (for example music) but as far as I can see there is no way to actually see the value without invoking the Gain function.

I propose the addition of a feature that allows users to randomly shuffle and mix video clips, other media, or sequences within the timeline. This feature would provide a quick and efficient way to experiment with different arrangements, enabling editors to achieve a more dynamic and creative outcome. The ability to randomize clips could be particularly valuable for projects like music videos, montages, or any content where a non-linear, spontaneous arrangement is desired.How it Could Work:Integrating a simple button or command within the Premiere Pro interface that shuffles selected clips within a designated range on the timeline would be a practical implementation. Users could customize the degree of randomness or specify constraints if needed.I believe that the addition of a "Randomized Clip Mixing" feature would not only make Premiere Pro more versatile but also enhance the overall creative workflow for video editors 

This is the case in most operating systems and video platforms. So it would make sense that it will be similar to them

Would it possible, or a good / bad idea to Background colors for the Audio Track Mixer?If adding / using mutiple tracks that need to be grouped, having  individual track colorsmaybe be handy for quick level adjustments.  Just wondering if it could even be an option?Thank You.. 

The new audio update is amazing, especially the draggable audio fade points, and subsequent options to shape the fades and effects in multitudes of ways.   PLEASE implement the same interface for speed ramping video.  The current process is so clunky for an editing technique that has become so prevalent and popular.    right click to show speed keyframes, pen tool to add keyframes, pull speed level, spread out keyframes to get ramp, then tug on handles to smoothe, all of which is manual.  If an editor could simply drag a point to initiate a ramp, then use the interface to shape the ramp, that would save editors who use this technique DAYS on certain projects.   PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE implement this ASAP!   It would be a game changer!!!!

I would like to add or remove a few frames at the beginning or the end of a shot, already present in a long sequence. If the sequence isn't too complex, I sometimes have succes making shots shorter with Q and W.Sometimes it screws up everything (for a reason I can't find) but most of the time it does exactly what I want: remove frames towards the playhead and not leave a blank space. However, I can't find a solution for adding a few frames to a shot at the front or end, without having to use the A tool, nudge the entire line from where I want to work, and then make the shot longer. And I most certainly don't want adjacent shots to change at all in out or in points: annoying character of many "tools". I would like to be able to click a shot and make it longer with one key press: extend it to the playhead whilst nudging the entire bunch of shots behind it to the right.Even better would be just ONE tool that allows for making shots shorter AND longer with the arrow keys. Hi,It would be great if you could change the path to the Template folder to e.g. a NAS or SAN, so that everyone always works with the latest version of a template, and not as now where it is located locally on the computer.

I like the Ducking feature in the Essential Sound Panel.   However, besides volume ducking, IMHO a ducking technique based on frequency is much more elegant.   This effect is best described as an "outside the club" effect, where you can have a normal conversation between people while still hearing the distant and often bassy version of the music in the background. Like you're literally standing outside the club.   Normally, you would achieve this via a side-chain effect in a DAW. Side chaining, however, is not possible in PPro. Usually, I create a second copy of the music on a new audio track to which I add a graphic equalizer where I substantially duck all the mid and higher frequencies.   All in all, this takes quite a bit of editing work.   Would it be possible to add a slider inside the Ducking section that allows you to determine how much ducking of mid and higher frequencies you desire whenever dialogue appears?
