Hello there. Is there a way to hide the "sync settings" button and bar from the bottom of my workspace?I would very much like to be able to use that bit of space (which runs the entire width of the UI) for a plethora of other things. That, by a far extent, have inherently higher priority and functionality than the minute increase in any convenience, this icon and the oversized bar in which it solely resides, can provide when accessing the sync settings. I completely fail to comprehend why a 4 x 3 mm sync-settings icon requires an unmovable bar of 615 x 5 mm that cannot be resized or hidden in order to function, in any conceivable sense of the word. Why? If I’m missing something, please let me know. All the best!  

Hi, an additional touch to the newly introduced Text-Based ''uhm" removal feature in Premiere Pro. This feature is impressive but it leaves a creator with a bit too much work trying to level up the cuts because once all the uhms have been deleted the video gets jumpy because the end of a clip before the "uhm" differs from the beginning of the part after the "uhm". In case a speaker uses a lot of "uhms" in their speech, the video may become jerky as hell. It's not too bad for a tiktok video, but it is inappropriate for the broadcasting. The way out is applying some transition between the clips thus made, so they level up the difference between the last and the first frames of the two neighbouring clips. Doing it by manually is ridicolous... So my idea is adding some kind of automatic feature that can be applied right after the "uhms" deletion - some kind of neuro morphcut transition or else that can smooth out the part where an uhm was deleted... Avid has had a feature for ages where source media is automatically auto-patched to whatever target track is selected next. It makes changing target tracks SO much faster, especially when editing from the keyboard (and trying to avoid using the mouse). It's a simple feature but will save a massive amount of time across all users. Thanks!

PLEASE find a way to train your AI to remove Veiling Glare from anamorphic footage please!!!!!!! It's a circular cloudy/milky like vignette that is caused by light sources bouncing around inside of the anamorphic lenses. It is a HUGE PAIN for anamorphic shooters. I will attatch PLENTY of examples. Zero Veiling Glare (Veiling Glare non present in image) and Veiling Glare (problem is present)

This could be a pretty simple thing to code IMO, but i dont code so what do i know.anywaysYou get visible banding on the gradients of a vignette if theres compression, right? (screenshot attatched)the way to prevent this,  in after effects for example , is to add a layer of fractal noise. so my idea is maybe intergate a bit of fractal noise into the vignette tool to smooth out this gradients!Thats it!thank you for your time

It would be nice to save caption sytles from premiere pro to a Creative Cloud library to share it to others. If I get it right, it should be enough to "allow" *.prtextstyle files to be uploaded into a library.

I would like to select multiple clips and apply Lumetri Auto to all of them. It usually does a good job most of the times. 

Edit 12/15/24: Update on Multichannel Audio Transcription Support. Tests on PR Release 25.0.0 confirm that this is working for mono and stereo, and that the problem with Sony FX MXF files was fixed. Users experiencing problems should start a new thread and ask for assistance. Include information about the files used and process for transcribing. PR Release version 24.0.0 added transcription of multiple audio channels for source media for mono, and stereo was added in Release Version 24.1.0.   Manual transcription occurs when right-clicking the source in the Project Panel, or using the 3 dot menu in the Text Panel.If PR recognizes the file as having multiple channels, it adds "Channel Selection" to the options in the "Create Transcription for Source Media" dialogue. Hey all, I would love the ability to, when searching a project in the project panel (using the "filter bin content" field - sometimes called the Find Box in the project window) hide all bins (flatten the folder structure) in the search results. Maybe as a toggle button right next to the filter bin content field? Use caseWe have a relatively large project within our production that we keep frequently used sound effects and music in. And there are a bunch of folders and subfolders to keep things organized. This means that when we want to search the project, even if there is only one item matching the search query, we have to scroll through a lot of listed bins that don't contain any relevant results. This would be sort of similar in function to the way that the search bins only show relevant items - but I don't want to create a search bin every time to find a specific item (and the create search bin feature also isn't available when the project is locked). Hopefully o

It would be great of there on a button on the UI that could toggle on an off Mercury Transmit to an external monitor, without the need to dive into the preferences. 

Sometime when you're fine cutting and tweaking effects or motion on a clip in a complex time line, it's useful to mementarily solo the clip to see the full extent of the changes you are making. At the moment that means leaving the Effect Controls pane and adjusting the Track Output toggles in the Timeline. It would be really handy to have a button that toggled a solo mode - just for the clip you are currently editing. Thank you Adobe-World.  James

There is no metadata column within the Project Panel that consistently represents the time & date that video footage was shot. 'Date Created', 'Date Modified' etc., are always either randomly different to the actual date or missing altogether. However there is a column in 'Media Browser' that does consistently show the exact time and date that the footage was shot, no matter which camera it came from. This is called 'Date Last Written' and it can be found under the 'File Directory' option under 'Edit Columns...'Can we please get this added to the metadata options within a Premiere project so we can finally start sorting multiple cameras by time and date? 

1. A live button so any changes made to the transcript get reflected in captions and vica-versa. 2, An automatic capitalisation feaure. So when you edit out the top of a sentences which migh be "You know" the text engine automatically capitalises teh first letter of the first word if it detects a full stop at the end of the previous sentence, And similarly to that - if you cut the end of a sentence and there is already a caapital letter at teh beginning of hte next sentence, the text enginge automatically adds a full stop at the cut.

There is evidently no feature to remove silence from a video which I find astonishing. Even Olive, an open souce editor, has this facility and it is shocking to find it missing in Premiere Pro. OK I know you can do it by switching to Audition but you can't save as video - I have watched many YouTubers talk about this process and it is time consuming and very tricky in my opinion. I just want an option in the sequence context menu entitled 'Remove silence'. Come on Adobe, it can't be difficult as lesser organisations are already doing it. We want AUTOMATIC SILENCE REMOVAL and we want it soon!!

In the the Timeline Panel, I wish the space above the timeline and below the tab area was larger. TOO many times have I moved my playhead to jump later in the sequence and hit the tab region by mistake and jumped to a different timeline. At certain points in my editing process I can have upwards of 15 selects sequences open so to get back to my cut I often have to go to the bin to double click it.  A little more vertical space where the Time Ruler Numbers are would mitigate this issue immensely.

When packaging files from Premiere Pro, the After Effects files used are included, but the files linked to the After Effects file are not. This causes issues when making edits later, if I need to edit the After Effects file(s) for another version of the project - it will have missing assets (especially if another user is accessing the files).My current workaround is to place the packaged AE files within my project folder and relink to that aep file, but everytime I open the Premiere Pro file, I have to relink to the aep file(s). I understand that this is not a current functionality within Premiere Pro - I think I saw someone else call it 'chain consolidation' - but I'm wondering if there are any scripts or workarounds to make this happen, so that the files don't have to be relinked every time the file is open, and that the packaged AE file/folder is added to the project folder.

I think it would be awesome to be able to link a folder to your files in premiere, for instance, i usually have the same media files in the folder in my pc as I do in my file bin, it would be nice if when I add something like a graphic to my "assets" folder in the project folder on my desktop, and automaticly in Premiere that graphic is already in a linked asset bin in my project, that way i dont have to sort it on my desktop, then go back and impot it into premiere, would be a big time saver!

For some videos where I need to get onto editing them ASAP, instead of having to proxy all the files beforehand, it'd be nice if you could set it to only proxy files which get dragged into the Timeline, so to avoid proxying unused footage.I get fundamentally proxies are meant to be proxied before editing the project, but this could be a good way for slower systems to not need to wait forever to proxy when time isn't available, and could also decrease the use of storage.

Please add ability to edit Caption timecode while inside Premiere Pro.   It's a lot easier to adjust the timestamp code if we can just edit it from there than to drag stuff out on the timeline. I want to be able to edit the in and out times on that. There can be rules installed where you cannot exceed the beginning time of the next timestamp code caption.   edit: ok so I've found out if you drag out the caption it's faster but still it would be cool if you can type it in for supreme accuracy upon replication?

I want to be able to copy and paste caption segments as its the same in the song. sometimes.

I am new to Premiere Pro and am taking the Improve Audio for Polished Results tutorial.This step in the tutorial asks me to locate an audio clip, titled "90bmp_exotica.m4a".  It's the same as the A2 audio track, but that isn't evident at first.  The name of the audio track does not appear on the timeline panel (whereas titles of video clips do appear there).After some searching around, I see the title of this audio clip in the Essential Sound panel.  Please note the screenshot:The title appears in a tiny font, grey colored text, on a black background.  This is a major accessibility problem, and an obscure item to find.  Given this is a basic tutorial, it doesn't leave a good impression. Please consider including the title of the audio track in the Timeline graphic, increasing the color contrast between the background and text color, and increasing the font size (or providing extra UI customizing to do so under Settings -> Appearance).Also, please consid

The UI for auto-transcribing and translating and captioning films in other languages than english is far too cumbersome. It's currently far faster for me to manually to translate and make captions.  I need a small box where i select 1) the language of the audio and 2) the language of the resulting transcription and possibly 3) the language of the resulting caption.THEN as an advanced option below that i can edit the look of the texts and captions.  I want to just press ONE button which makes the (for example) german languaged film having english languaged captions.  Right now it is fairly easy to manually make captions - although it is STILL not possible to change lines in a single caption in the edit>Captions field but only by editing the caption in the monitor and pressing ctrl-enter so i have to change back and forth ALL the time. Sighs.
