Edited 3/15/24. See this Beta announcement for developments on caption/text styles: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-beta-discussions/now-in-beta-premiere-pro-text-styles-enhancements/td-p/14279817 Original post: Currently, to share a Caption Track Style, it must be saved to disk from the Project Panel, then imported to a new project. Several users are asking for an easier way to share across projects and with their team members. In the Beta forum, staff indicated in Dec 2020 that "loading from libraries" was part of future plans. This is needed.
I want to be able to open the same sequence twice, so I can stack them in my Premiere GUI, and be able to set them at different zoom %s. This way we could accomplish less zooming in and out.
As an advid Premier user, I would love for us to have an app that is more advanced than what we're given with Premier Rush. Could you all please start working on making the actual Premier app accessible to us for iPhone or at least compatible with the iPad Pro? The Rush app is extremely disappointing and doesn't do the platform justice as it should.
Some minor tweaks to the text interface would be welcome.--- when searching the more words you can input, the better the results. I have no idea why Adobe chose to make the search window so small. Yes, you can type more - but it's so hard to see what you've typed and edit your search query when you're given such a tiny space. Lots of room there to the right of it, so why not make the search window expandable with the panel size?--- Adobe has a tendency to remove all colour from it's interface design. But a sea of grey makes it so hard to find things quickly. This is another example of where being able to colour code your speakers would make it so much clearer who is speaking.--- And it would be great to be able to batch delete speakers. For example, wipe out all the interviewee questions if you know they will never be heard. Those are the little tweaks.Still would love to be able to import a 3rd party transcription. As great as AI is, accents, mixed languages and other human oddit
when Adobe are going to ad Arabic language for text-based editing?
Hello Adobe team and community,I am writing to suggest the addition of a feature I believe would greatly benefit many Adobe Premiere users: the ability to work with animated subtitles automatically, similar to the functionality offered by Descript.Descript is an audio and video editor that can link transcriptions to video frames, making video editing easier by allowing alterations via corresponding text. This feature saves time and effort, particularly for those of us who frequently work with subtitles and transcriptions.I believe incorporating a similar feature into Adobe Premiere would make the process of adding and editing subtitles much more efficient.Looking forward to hearing the community's and Adobe team's thoughts on this suggestion. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Hello everyone! As per the title, that would be very useful to have. Thanks!
Please, create a shortcut to hide the top menu bar to free up more space for editing. It's a waste of space and its anoying
The 'go to previous marker' or 'go to next marker' functions do not work properly in the timeline. I set markers on clips and the commands often go to edit points, or they go at all. Sometimes the commands will jump to a sequence marker, but not consistently. I have tried resetting preferences and removing keyboard shortcut redundancies, but that has not worked. I should also note that the commands in the 'Markers' drop down menu display the same dysfunctional behavior.System info:iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch 20193.1 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5Radeon Pro 575X 4GB32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4Startup disk Macintosh HDMac OS: Ventura 13.0.1I'm running Adobe Premiere 23.1.0 (Build 86
Please let Premiere Pro Motion Graphics Template support audio tracks like After Effect .mogrts file did.
It would be amazing to be able to link effects to different clips on the timeline. For example, clip A has a lumetri color effect applied and the tweaks done. I can copy-paste this effect to clip B easily, but now if I change anything with the lumetri color in clip A, I will have to also redo the changes or redo the copy-paste for clip B. It's fine for a couple of clips, but having a long interview with dozens of cuts, a small change will be a headache. So instead of copy-pasting the effects or doing the small tweaks to each individual clips, what if we could have a "Link Effect To" -setting for the effects? If I copied Lumetri from clip A to clip B, I could make changes to the "Master" effect in clip A, and the same changes would automatically transfer over to the "Linked" lumetri effect in clip B. Same thing for all different effects.Obviously you could use an adjustment layer, but if you have an interview with 3 cameras that aren't properly matched in the first place, adjustmen
It would be great to be able to find and replace text strings in columns in the project panel for batch editing of sequences, clip names & metadata. The use cases for this would be: When duplicating and renaming new versions of edit sequences To rename selections of clips or sqeuences To batch-update metadata in visible columns in the the Project panel It would be useful if the find and replace dialog had checkbox for 'selected items only' - and if I'm being greedy - a preview of the update, and if I'm being super-greedy: regex support.
If anyone at Adobe R&D gets this, please create a program like Pictory. You already have Adobe Stock, you created Firefly (not released yet but its Beta is awesome). Pictory has no competition. Include it with a fast rendering engine (unlike most of Adobe's video, and animation software) and you're going to make a fortune. Pictory Website Why is this valuable to me?I create a lot of videos for teaching history and uploading them to YouTube. Adobe CC software kills performance on my computer because of the rendering time from the software. I can't use Adobe CC for a lot of projects. I'm forced to use Pictory instead and I have seen a lot of other ACC users complaining of the same rendering performance problems and crashing issues. The very thing that makes the product good is the same thing that makes it almost completely useless. It takes six hours to render a six-minute animation in Character Animator. It takes the same amount of time in Premiere, After Effects et a
Hello, Working in Animation here. Roughly 1000 panels/jpeg in an ep coming from storyboard pro. It would be great if Premiere could create proxies from PSDS to jpegs, so we can have access to the psds if needed but would work with the lower res prints (jpeg) for most of the work.
Hello, I'm a user from Istanbul Turkey. Even in a free application such as Capcut, automatic writing and voiceover are available thanks to Turkish language support. Do you think of putting such an update and language pack? Wouldn't it be great if you did something like this?
Curious if anybody knows of any supported HDR photo file formats, such as JPEG XL or AVIF, or if they're coming any time soon. I have a photography YouTube channel and I think it would be really cool to include TRULY 10-bit HDR photos in my videos, since ACR now supports HDR photo editing. I've tried using .TIFF and other lossless file formats, but they don't retain their contrast or color depth, and require heavy adjustments in Premiere to get them to look anywhere near how they look after editing in ACR, and they never hit their HDR peak brightness for highlights.
Just showing of Adobes Inconsistency within UI and Workspaces as in this example for four different apps. This is ridiculous that the dev teams cannot communicate and setup properly.

In speech to text Adobe offers all other nordic languages except finnish and icelandic. I'm writing from finland and I'm eager to to know when finnish is going to be added to supported languages?
I am currently editing about 3/4 short videos per day and I am running into this issue that is causing me a little bit of headache. I auto-transcribe the footage, create captions out of it and style it like so: But for bigger words, since the captions are quite large, it ends up breaking in two lines: I know that the fix is pretty simple, I just make the font size smaller, but is there any option inside Premiere to auto-adjust the font size to fit the text box? I've seen mobile apps doing that for captions but couldn't find it inside premiere. Any ideas/opinions are much appreciated!
The Project Manager feature should have two new features implemented.1. Retain the project's folder structure set on the original drive in macOS Finder or Windows Explorer in the new destination. Throwing every file and every asset into one messy folder negates the organizational skills that many editors implement into their work.2. During the transfer process, update the file paths for each file and each asset used in sequences to reflect the new volume that the project is being transferred to. Relative file paths need to be implemented for this transfer process to work properly. It makes no sense to move a project to an external drive only to open the project afterwards and have to relink everything. What a waste of time.
Hello. Especially with Frame.io integration, I'd love to improve the Marker flexibility in Premiere. Frame.io marker import works great for notes on sequences, but I'd love to be able to post a two-hour-long clip and have someone make markers on it, then import those markers back onto the clip. The ideal improvement would be to be able to copy-paste markers at will, from the Marker window, to and from whatever sequence or clip I choose. If that was the case, I'd be able to do what I want with the current Frame.io integration. However, I have no batch-import/paste option for Clip Markers. If I could also download the clip TXT file and import those markers as clip markers, that would work too. I'll take whatever I can get!
Hello! While the audio remix tool is great, the "endpoint" of the new duration feels entirely subject to the tool's processing (and I've found it's rarely able to hit the end exactly where needed). To fix this, what if the click and drag featured all processable endpoints for more precision in where the audio will end? This could help mitigate the tool auto-filling a few seconds in either the front or end at what seems random - you'd get to decide if it will be a little longer or shorter.
I understand that we can set the interval and quatity for autosaves, but I think something that would really help would be intelligent autosaves that take place alongside or in lieu of interval autosaves. 1) When rendering the timeline, if the render time is estimated to be 15 seconds or longer, take the project pre-render and save it while render takes place. The autosave would not include the renders. 2) Trigger an autosave if there has not been timeline activity for more than 15 seconds while Premiere is still the active application. 3) When Premiere detects it is not the active window, an autosave triggers. The software can already tell it's not the active window because playback on a second monitor can be disabled when not active. This can be used in combination with the interval autosave in the following manner: If an autosave has taken place within 50% of the current potential intelligent autosave trigger, the intelligent autosave is postponed.
