When working with many sequence or chapter markers in Adobe Premiere Pro, it’s very easy to accidentally click on a marker in the timeline. Every time this happens, the playhead instantly jumps to that marker’s position. It would be great if Premiere offered an option in the preferences or timeline settings to disable automatic playhead movement when clicking on markers. For example, clicking a marker could simply select it without changing the current playhead position. This small change would make working with large projects and detailed marker setups much smoother and less frustrating. Thank you
Hello, Sometimes, video edits don't require audio, but on the timeline, it's impossible to delete the last audio track. The only option is to minimize it. It's not annoying, but visually, an option to disable the audio track would be useful.Thank you. Cyril
me gustaria que si puede meter como un lipsync cuando se hace traducion, un erramienta por tener mejor el audio traducido
As great as the transcription tool is for some things, I rely on markers for a lot of other things, and I wish the two functionalities worked a little more hand in hand. There's one specific functionality I'd love to see: 1. Highlight text in the transcipt.2. Push your Add Marker shortcut, and a marker is created with the highlighted text in the Comments of the marker.
I don't like the "Bulk Remove Pauses" because there are some pauses I want to manually remove. However, that can get frustrating as it's either all or nothing. I would like to suggest a "Maximum Pause Length", which will give people a range to what types of pauses are considered. A lot of those pauses are me taking a breath, which I want gone, but other pauses are because I'm showing people something and not talking. This is a mock-up idea for the pause. Another option I would love to see is "db noise", which will determine a pause by volume control. Maybe even a "detect breath" which scans the video and identifies when someone is pausing to get more air.
WHAT: I would like the project bin to have label colours for sequences in ICON view.At the moment, the icon for sequences and clips in the project bin is the same colour.Yes, you can see the difference in list view, but NOT icon view.I have done a video to show it here: https://somup.com/cT6UQj9rcMAdobe have already implemented this for sequence tabs - please, next for sequences. Please UPVOTE this if you would find it useful. This is a mock-up:
I’m honestly surprised that in 2025 the caption feature in Premiere Pro is still this clunky. It’s been years now, and it still feels outdated and overly complicated. Once you turn text into captions, it’s a pain to make adjustments or go back. Everything feels rigid and unintuitive. Recently I discovered brevidy.pro, which integrates directly with Premiere, and it shows exactly how smooth and dynamic this could be if Adobe built it natively. Editing captions there feels natural, fast, and flexible. Exactly what’s needed for modern social media content workflows. I’ve been wishing for this kind of functionality inside Premiere for a long time. I’m sure many other editors/creators would agree: captions should be easy to edit, adapt, and update. Not a constant fight with the interface.
It would be really nice for sequences to have a different colour icon in the project bin.I have done a video to show what I mean: https://somup.com/cT6u6p9Fmn
MAX Feedback - ability to remove an object in premimer using photoshop while clip is moving. Current workstream doesn't allow this and requires to go outside of Adobe ecosystem-Matt M.
more intuitive space when editing videos and audios where video and audio can be managed individually - Stephanie
The ability to generate images and videos within the program itself. Further improve the subtitle feature for better accuracy.Add "effects" to the subtitles. An audio resource that separates: voice, effects, music and many other things.
It would be great to save custom guide line setups, such as rule of thirds, crosshairs, 4:5 ratio, etc., instead of having to make them every time or import an overlay image.
It would be helpful when exporting multiple sequences to the same folder to NOT have to select that folder over and over. Not sure when or why the automatic folder updates - is it upon the latest export from within Premiere, or from within Media Encoder. Would be nice to know how this works.
I'm working with the last Premiere pro 2025.5 and if I understand well, align tools are now supposed to appear in the properties panel...and it does with text and shape but not with clip or picture or anything else...It would be so helpful to have that feature (like after effect tools...)
Please make KBSC available for Reveal in Explorer from the timeline. There is a kbsc for reveal in project, but not for explorer. You can do this from the Project Panel, but not from the timeline. The new (beta) menu is too inconvenient for repetitive work.
This has got to change.... I need adobe premiere to be able to transcribe a multicam sequence within a sequence of other stuff too. For example, I have a show that is a presenter speaking to camera, then she throws to a three camera interview that was edited via multicam sequence. Time for captions... oh nope, Premiere will only read the presenter and not her multicam interviews. SO LAME!!!! I know I can export the interviews and go that route... But seriusly man, take those awful extra steps away from me. I got enough on my plate. Thank you for listening. Love you guys 🙂
Now that I'm editting on a PC I miss the experience of scrolling on a Mac so bad. The default windows scrolling experience so jittery and disorientating. In DaVinci Resolve you can hold the middle mouse button to drag and scroll through windows, kind of like a touch screen. This would help so much please and thank you!
Would be awesome to have a window/panel, seperate from the Effects Panel, that allows you to save your top 15 specific Effects, or Presets that you use most often, for very quick access. "Quick Effects" could be it's name. I know you can do something similar with custom made presets, but a dedicated, no searching, one-click panel would be awesome.
My Adeobe setting are saved under ****Documents\Adobe\....***But this folder is by default synced with One drive. How do I Change that NO Adobe Program saves anything in that folder? After all it is my documtes folder and App Data should be saved under AppData not under Documents. Now each time one drive syncs I loos all my presets in all my adobe programs. - Don't know why but they always get set back to standard. Already changed the cage files and media common files to a different folder, but each time I start any Adobe Program it trys to read from my Document folder, HOW do I stope it? Cheers Christof PS it is only since the last update, never had an issue before

Davinci Resolve righteousness Like the 'AI multicam smart switch'. Can you suggest ideas to Adobe developers? [Moved from the Discussions forum by moderator]
Hello, For an edit with many layers, I'm unable to copy/paste the layers from the program's monitor. Using two screens, I have to navigate using the editing window.I can't find a solution. If there is a solution or a tip, it would help speed up my workflow. If this is not currently possible, it would be a handy feature to incorporate in a future version. Merci de votre assistance Cyril
Hi! Sometimes conforming alters the speed of our systems. It would be of great help to have this process included within the Progress Dashboard, so as to be able to see what is yet to be conformed, and being able to manage the process the way this menu does. Thank you.
DaVinci Resolve offers a fantastic "Timeline Overview" or "Mini Timeline" feature that displays the entire sequence in a compact view, with a highlighted section showing the current zoomed-in area. This makes it incredibly easy to stay oriented within the timeline, navigate quickly, and maintain context while working in a detailed zoomed-in view.Premiere Pro currently lacks a comparable visual overview, and I believe adding such a feature would be a game-changer for workflow efficiency and user experience.
Hello Adobe Team, Please consider improving the keyframe control system in Premiere Pro. Currently, it feels outdated and unintuitive — especially compared to tools like After Effects or even other modern editing software. Key issues: Keyframes can’t be efficiently controlled via APIs. The Bezier/curve control is clunky and limited. There’s no quick way to save or reuse animation graphs. Adjusting motion graphs or easing is far less fluid than in comparable tools. It would be great to see smoother graph editing, better keyframe interpolation options, and maybe a way to quickly save/reload custom motion curves. These improvements would make Premiere much more powerful and user-friendly for editors and motion designers alike.
