Please provide an option to move the menu bar (File, Edit, Clip, Sequence etc.) to the middle of the work-window.This has become especially relevant with the increased prevalence of Ultrawide monitors. It took me a while to get on board with moving the Windows toolbar to the center of the screen, but I've now learned how useful it is not to have to twist my head all the way to the left when navigating the start menu or toolbar.I would like this for the menu bar in PPro as well, so that when I do need to acces it it's right in my direct and neutral field of view.
I have 8 x speakers, each on her own track, but Premiere Transcription only identifies 4 x speakers. I suggest Premiere Pro Transcription feature use the different audio tracks to help separate and identify speakers when transcribing audio.
I would love a feature, similar to Excel, which would highlight the track name on the left as I'm hovering over the track. In that way, even if I'm dropping a clip onto the timeline on the far right of my 59" Samsung Odyssey I know exactly which track I'm dropping it to. This request is specifically tailored for those editing on Ultrawide monitors. I love the ability of having the entire timeline visible on my ultrawide. It's been such a game changer to my workflow. However what I don't love is when dragging clips down to the timeline, unless I shift the drop point all the way left, I can't easily tell which track I'm dropping my clip to.
前はこんなのなかったのに編集の邪魔でしかないので即時、消していただくか、非表示にできるようにしてください。目にチラチラ映るし、カットしたあと音声波形見辛いし、タイムラインも汚くなるし良いことが一つもない。
I suggest you add some captioning decisions that say, don't end a sentence break with Mr. or Ms., where periods occur that are not the end of the sentence. Seems you could say, ignore periods (.) for 2 or 3 charactor short or no vowels words so they don't cause page breaks. It would also be good to not allow one word captions.
It would be great to have the ability to create presets for track targeting, and then assign those presets keyboard shortcuts—basically exactly how Source Assignment Presets work already. I do as much via as possible via keyboard and therefore I am constantly adjusting track targeting. I’ve already set up shortcuts to:Toggle all targets (Video / Audio) on/offMove track targeting up/downToggle individual track targets (e.g., Audio 1, Video 6)This works, but it's quite a manual process and lacks the speed and flexibility of presets. Being able to instantly recall specific track targeting setups with a single keystroke—just like Source Assignment Presets—would be a game changer. At the very least, if we had a dedicated shortcut that toggles all track targets off (i.e. not a cycle toggle between on/off), it would enable a work around using macro tools like StreamDeck, AutoHotKey, or Keyboard Maestro. You could make a macro which sets tracks to 'zero' state, a
To have motion blur in Premiere Pro, it's always about workaround solutions, which sometimes end up making things choppy. Changing the Shutter Angle under the Transform effect sometimes messes up the clip position, or sometimes it bugs up the entire animation in a myriad of different ways. Nesting the clips just adds another unnecessary step nobody asked for. And going to After Effects just for this just adds more complications and delays. For years, many users are suffering because of the lack of motion blur. When we add movement in the clip, we just need that good old movement blur like that of After Effects. A dedicated one-click solution. Nothing less. I cannot, for the life of me, understand how come we don't have such a basic thing.
I'd love to have synced audio while adding speed ramps/time-remapping to my video clips!
A feature idea that could really streamline the editing workflow for creators and editors working with dialogue-heavy content, especially those who need to keep clips monetizable or brand-safe.You already have a great tool with Text-Based Editing / Auto Transcript Cut, which allows us to quickly cut sections of video directly from the transcript. I’d love to see an audio-specific expansion of this for censorship purposes — something like:Auto-Mute by Transcript (Censorship-Friendly Audio Tool)What it does:Detects and highlights curse words or custom-specified words from the transcript.Gives the option to either:Mute just the word's audio (without altering the video or cutting the audio clip)Delete the word’s audio entirely, creating a moment of silenceLeaves the video completely intact, so there’s no desync between audio and visual tracks — perfect for content that needs to retain timing (for example, for captions, multicam edits, or social cuts). Why It’s Needed:When we currently cut a
The pan knobs in the Audio Track Mixer seem unnecessarily large, as their size doesn't impact functionality or usability. In comparison, the pan knobs in the Audio Clip Mixer are half the diameter yet provide the same adjustability. If the Audio Track Mixer pan knobs were the same size as those in the Audio Clip Mixer, they would appear more proportional to the level sliders (like a real mixer) and would free up space for longer sliders.
When multi-camera view is enabled for editing: - UHD footage,- using UHD multi-camera source sequence,- in a 1080 timeline The Program monitor shows the individual cameras zoomed and cropped, like viewing an UHD clip in a 1080 timeline without scaling to fit or fill frame. IE the multi-camera view does not carry over the effects settings of the multi-camera clip, so even if the multi-camera clip is scaled 50% to fit the 1080 frame the multi-camera view shows a scaled and croped view of the individual angles. Idea: add a setting that forces the multi-camera view to fill-frame or Fit-to-frame for individual camera sourcesORhave the mult-cam view apply to the position and scaling attributes for the multi-cam clip to individual camera sources
must have!! Duplicate-repeat function! like in cubase, Ctrl+D command, that duplicates the clip and sticks the duplicated part at the end of theclip, so that i can click Ctrl+D as many times as i want and make the duplicated clip as long as needed only by reclicking Ctrl+Din Premier, if i need to duplicate-repeat a clip i have to hold Alt, copy the clip, drag it and align it to the end of the clip, which useally is not working well so i place it a little ahead and only after i try to stick it to the end of the clip, then i need to copy the two repeated clips and paste them at the end and so on, this is soooooo frustarating and time wasting, there must be a solution for this! please create an option like in Cubase, quick and simple and user friendly!
Hi Adobe Team,As a freelance video editor working in Premiere Pro daily, I often find myself needing to return to the point where playback last stopped — but Premiere doesn’t currently have a clean, visual or shortcut-based way to do that. Secondary Playhead (Last Stop CTI): A second marker or "ghost" playhead that stays where the last playback stopped (when hiting spacebar to pause), so we can easily return to that point. And ideally, i want a shortcut to jump back to this last stop point, like a temporary "bookmark."The Idea:Introduce a secondary playhead or indicator in the timeline that shows:The last location where playback was stopped (e.g., when I hit the spacebar to pause)This marker should remain until playback is started againAdd a shortcut to instantly jump back to this "last stop" positionThis is different from a normal marker — it should automatically update each time playback is stopped, and not require manual action. Why This Is Helpful:In real-world editing, I
It would be nice to be able to select which items to include in the copy when using Project Manager. For example, when I finish a project, I run Project Manager to create a clean archive folder containing a single project and final sequence for my clients. The client already has all of the raw media files, and they don't need the proxies. But when I run the Project Manager, it copies TBs of raw footage and proxy files to the folder, which I then have to delete from the folder manually. Right now, the only options are to copy all media or consolidate and transcode the media. I want neither. I want to copy everything except raw or proxy footage. I'd like to see a new Project Manager dialogue box that allows the user to include raw or proxy media or not. It would save a tremendous amount of time when the end goal is to create a folder containing the project, sequence, and any other items produced within the project.
when i'm moving small clips around I always accidently click on the HUGE "fx" icon and need to click again and again and try not to hit the "fx" icon and my workflow is so slowed because of this!please take it back to the old version "fx" icon. also im crashing so much since the last update... please fix it! thank you
Frame holds on a Premiere timeline don't get included when exporting a timeline. When I do the following simple steps:Put one video clip (any clip) on a blank timelineGo to the middle of it and click "Insert Frame Hold Segment", so there are now three clips on the timelineExport a Final Cut XML file of the timeline, via the File -> Export menuRe-import the XML file by dragging it back into the project The frame hold has disappeared. I see no evidence in the XML file that the frame hold effect was included in the XML. I get the same result when round-tripping using AAF as well. I also tried OTIO format using the latest Premiere Beta. Even exporting as an EDL gives no indication in the output that the middle clip is meant to be a hold. Is there any file export that Premiere can export to, where frame hold data is included?
When you're changing things, e.g. audio ducking keyframes of MX vs DIA, or animation keyframes on an element, it would be extremely helpful when you select a keyframe and right click, to have a menu item "delete all keyframes to the right', and one for the left too.
When you have keyframes in your Effect Controll panell and try to hit the Toggle Animations stopwatch icon to clear the keyframes, a pop-up warning message shows up.Steps to reproduce: Create position keyframes on a clip and then click the Toggle Animations stopwach next to the "Position" text.Expected result: All existing keyframes on that keyframe track should be cleared.Actual result: A completely redundant pop-up warning shows up, warning you of the exact thing you are are trying achiev.Adobe Premiere Pro version: As far as I know, this bug has been present in en every Premiere Pro version as long as I can remember. This is bug/feature is super anoying. I can not comprehend how this has not been fixed after so many years. Can't we just remove this dialogue box altogether. There exists a feature called Redo, so having a warning seems unnecessary. If for some reason there needs to be a warning message as a default–I believe there is none in After Effects–can t
Hi Adobe team,I'd like to request a simple, global option in Premiere Pro to completely disable all automatic audio tagging and effects applied by the Essential Sound panel or sequence templates.Currently, when I import or drop audio clips into a sequence, Premiere often auto-assigns them as Dialogue or Music and applies compression, auto-ducking, or other effects without warning. Even when I manually clear audio types and remove applied effects, this behavior can return with new clips or tracks — especially when using sequence presets or re-opening projects. This creates unnecessary confusion and extra cleanup work.Feature request:A global preference toggle (e.g. under Preferences > Audio) to turn off all automatic audio tagging and default Essential Sound effects — so Premiere treats imported audio as raw, untouched clips unless I manually assign them.Or at least a warning/prompt when Essential Sound is about to apply processing to a clip. This would save a lot of hassle for users w
Hello,For anyone out there who is using the multi-camera editing, is there a way to have the color label show up in individual cuts for the Multi-Camera sequence? I added an image below to show one of my recent sequences. The bottom part of the image shows mostly green, and that is the Multi-Camera Sequence. I did all of that color labeling. In this case, the video was only around 10 minutes. The real benefit would be in longer videos.I'm using shortcut keys for the labels, and so that is quicker. But, it would nice for this to be automated. One thing I figured out is that I can use unsharp mask on a video, and it will show red, as if needing to render. This helps identifying the cuts, and I can go in and color those for the final run. But, automatic color labels would be ideal. Thanks, Steve
