When editing text, you can adjust the "horizontal scale" and "vertical scale" separately (like in Photoshop).I'd like to have items for horizontal scale and vertical scale in the properties panel when editing text.Currently, you can change it by transforming the layer, but I often find this specification inconvenient. For example, if you want to make the first line of a two-line caption elongated, you'll need to separate layers for each line because the aspect ratio will change for each layer if you transform the layer. The attached image is the text panel in Photoshop, but I think it would be more convenient if the items in the yellow frame were there.
Hi, My team uses Productions almost exclusively now as its been a real boost to collaboration and oragnsiation. What we are struggling with is the Video and Audio usage collumn not updating across different projects inside the Production. All i would like is to be able to go to the video or audio usage collumn, see the amount of times a clip is being used, and in what project and sequence it is being used in. Then, select one and have it open/navigate me to the relevant project and sequence within the Production. This was extremely helpful with stand alone Project files as occassionally, we need to update videos by removing people who have not yet renewed their contract. This is an easy way to do it, whilst also making sure we arent missing any clip. Is there a way to make this happen?
Dear Premier Pro Team, my name is Greg from Copenhagen, One of your colleagues from the technical support helped me and guided me to write this message at the right forum to get to the right people. I just wanted to inform you that there are many many many creators that are using editing software like Premier pro that are fleeing this editing software, And moving to da Vinci resolve. This is very alarming because their product has overtaken premier pro. In so many ways, unfortunately, even though I'm Learning with Premier pro I'm deciding to move over to da Vinci, Not only because it is free because it is a much better product more user-friendly and has a lot of easy things. They even have an automatic plug in for all D log files converting directly into rec 709. Their entire interface every single product within da Vinci when you compare it to Premier pro it's much easier with da Vinci. It is very sad that many people are leaving Premier pro and this sh
Please add a way to globally search all clip transcriptions. When you are working with hundreds of hours of individual clips, it would be awesome to have the ability to do a global search of a keyword where Premiere then locates all the clips and timecodes in which it is used.
Description: Make an option for square headed timelinesWhy is this valuable to you? Visual preferences should be allowed This has been brought up before, but updating to PP25 for a clients project I was faced with the new rounded corners and immediately hated it. Why would a visual change thats (by all accounts of the many complaints) a very personal preference not have an option change? Can the adobe staff talking about how 'fun' and 'playful' the roundness is, It's not a bouncy castle it's a timeline and between this and shoving AI down our throats it's feeling like less and less consideration is put into the people who actually use these products. I'm running out of reasons not to jump ship
Hi community, How are you. I am an indie filmmaker and I love Adobe Premiere Pro and the Creative Cloud suite of products. However, I am also a user of the TechSmith Camtasia suite of products for recording, e.g., videos of powerpoints and Zoom meetings, and such for work. Zooming in on the timeline for a sequence, I seem to recall, used to be doable with `CTRL+MOUSEWHEEL` shortcut for Premiere Pro and then it was changed to `ALT+MOUSEWHEEL`. TechSmith Camtasia has `CTRL+MOUSEWHEEL` as the shortcut. When I switch between the two app suites I am always getting mixed up in my brain -- I try to use the `ALT+MOUSEWHEEL` shortcut in TechSmith Camtasia to zoom in on the timeline and then I have to remember, no, it's `CTRL+MOUSEWHEEL`, but when I jump over to Premiere Pro to work on my movie, I have to re-sync my brain -- sometimes I find myself using `CTRL+MOUSEWHEEL` to zoom in on a part of the timeline and I have to then remind myself, no, it's `AL
A kind of memory function would be very helpful. We work within a structured environment. For example, when I open a project, then import a template, and then want to open another project, I first have to go through the corresponding drive and folders again until I reach the level where the projects are stored. Can’t this be defined somehow? Projects are located at location X, templates at location Y, etc. Or a favorites function where these folders can be set?The same applies to exporting in a new project: define the export folder as a favorite, click on it in the next project, the folder is set, time is saved. Also, when I want to replace content using the replace function. I always have to go through the entire path until I’m in the folder where the content is located. If I then want to replace another clip from the same folder, I have to start all over again. That takes time and is annoying, especially when you have to replace more than two clips.
I have just discovered that the Search option under the Help menu has been removed from the current version of Premiere Pro. (I'm using 23.2.0 Build 69 on a Windows 10 PC) What are you thinking?? For new users like me this is an invaluable option which helps significantly in trying to learn the software and interface. Searching online is tedious and time consuming when all I want is a simple answer or pointer to the item in the menu (as used to be available, I believe). I learnt of the Search option under Help in a course I'm doing which uses Premiere Pro CC 2017 (See attached file for a screen grab from course). This seems like a retrograde step. Could you reinstate it please? If not, why not? Thanks Gayle
Could we please get an option to turn off future warnings when we turn off keyframing for a specific attribute in the Effects Controls panel?? Every time you disable keyframing on a keyframed attribute, you get a popup warning that it will delete keyframes. Yes. We know. Doing this in a scenario where you have to go through it literally dozens of times feels extremely onerous and unneccesary. There are "don't show this warning again" options on other popups so we know it is possible! A minor issue, please address!
It would be awesome if Media Intelligence could readclapperboard / slate information from a production and bonus if it could auto fill in the SCENE, TAKE, CAM, AUDIO - in the Metadata Display information.
When will support for quick color matching using color charts like the X-Rite ColorChecker be added to Premiere Pro CC?
Hi Folks, Anyone know how to get an alarm sound on a completed render in PP - like in After Effects? Please please. Thanks!
I have to import several After Effects Compositions (variations of a pack shot).Unfortunately, Premiere can't import those in one go. Have select Import over and over, and point to the right Comp each time. Time consuming, and risks erroneous or double imports. Please make it possible to cmd/shift-select more than one Ae comp for import, just like in any other import situation througout the CC apps.
Submix Tracks are very powerful when making mixes for multilingual broadcast content, like sports. But currently we can't use the super useful Auto Ducking tool as it can only traget clips and not tracks or submixes. Request: auto ducking to be able to write Submix keyframes.
We're working on animation movies, and more specifically editing a feature film. We have 1600+ shots in this movie, that are all rendered to image sequences in various 3rd party software. We need an efficiant way to import the shots into Premiere. Right now, there's no way to batch import the sequence. We should at least be able to drag & drop folders containing image sequences and have them imported all at once.A dialogue box upon import should ask us if we want to import the folders content as image sequences, and maybe even let us define the framerate at that point (this would be nice).Right now, the only way to import sequence is to use the import dialogue and go through each and every folder and select the first image and check "image sequence").This is not feasible on very large project. Thanks!
Hello Adobe Support,I would like to ask if there are any plans to make it possible to export .mogrt files from the latest version of Premiere Pro (25.2.3) in a format that is compatible with Adobe Premiere Rush. This would be extremely helpful for my workflow.
Hi all, My issue is to do with the Graphics Panel to review and amend text titles including MOGRTs. I would like to be able to filter multiple tracks. I use transitions by Mister Horse (which are flipping excellent FYI) which show in the graphics panel and flood the whole view ("If the transition isn't working..."). I can filter by one track at a time to make text corrections but often my text titles need to be split across multiple tracks. See screenshots attached and explanations: "Ben Premiere Graphics panel 1 - All tracks.jpg"This shows my Workspace and the playhead over a single text title 'Place suction hose into paint'. You can see 'All tracks' is selected in the Filter option in the Graphics panel and you can see all the fluff from Mister Horse. "Ben Premiere Graphics panel 1 - Track V4.jpg"This shows another section of the video where there are three MOGRTs stacked but the Filter is set to V4 in the Graphics Panel and thus I can only amend
1. Reveal in Project – Inconsistent Panel BehaviorWhen using multiple project panels, the “Reveal in Project” function often highlights the clip in a random or previously active panel, not the one I originally opened the clip from.It would be great if the clip always appeared in the same panel it was first accessed from. 2. Trim Edit Mode – Fullscreen OptionI’d love to see a fullscreen trim edit mode, similar to what Final Cut Pro 7 offered. The current layout feels too restricted for fine trimming work. 3. Track Lock Shortcut (Per Track)There’s currently no shortcut to lock/unlock individual timeline tracks.A simple keyboard shortcut for this would speed up track-specific editing significantly. 4. Merged Clip – Manual Sync AdjustmentIf a merged clip is out of sync, there’s no way to manually slip the audio or video inside it.It would help a lot to have manual sync adjustment inside merged clips — a flexibility Final Cut Pro 7 use
Dear developers! I really appreciate your work and new features in Premiere Pro. But please add the ability to assign a hotkey to the TIME REMAPPING function.
The right lcick menu in Premiere has become bloated, often not fully fitting on the screen and including waaaaay too many options. The easiest and most verstaile fix is to allow customising this menu like in Photoshoop. Go and talk to the team there and implement it please.
I have a saved workspace in the arrangement that I want; however, every time I open/create a new project, my workspace is in a different arrangement than what I have saved. When I press "reset to saved layout" it does not reset to my saved layout—it does change the layout, but not to my saved layout, and I have to manually re-arrange the windows every time. Note: When I press "save changes to this layout" (after rearranging it), then put the windows in a different arrangement, pressing "reset to saved layout" works ie. puts the windows in the arrangement I want. It's just every time that I open/create a new project that the arrangement is messed up. I have tried checking/unchecking "import workspace from project" and this has no effect on fixing the problem. If you know the solution to this problem, I will be forever indebted to you! *I am on MacOS Catalina w/Premiere version 14.1 installed.
I'm putting this in as an idea because it technically isn't a bug, though in my mind this is a flaw in the programing, as this feature should be essential to an NLE in 2025.I recently had a film accepted to a festival and they required a DCP. I exported one using the Wraptor settings directly from Premiere (version 2025). It was rejected by the festivals service. I was told they do not accept Wraptor DCPs ever, because of known problems with them playing in many venues. How is this possible? Why would you have a feature in the software that makes DCP's that don't work everywhere, or at least has the capability to work everywhere. This boggles my mind that this could even be a problem. I'm going to have to use another service, or Resolve to get the DCP that I need for this festival. Thankfully there are free options. Why wouldn't Adobe have not only a working DCP export that works everywhere, but one that is known as the best in the business?
This would be very useful when you have lots of clips on the track that need to be positioned.
In my workplace we work off of daily team projects as we deliver daily video turnarounds and the admin of setting this up every week is painful. I want to be able to automate the creation of a weeks worth of projects, from a template (so folder structure and assets are already available), and shared to the same group of users. I've tried having a look at UXP but doesn't seem to be able to do what I need it to unless ayone knows otherwise?
Since the built-in speech-to-text transcription plugin in Premiere Pro is only ~65% accurate (if you count the punctuation mistakes) — which in mid-2025 (the age of reasoning super AIs is quite unprofessional for such a large company), why don't you switch to using Open AI's free Whisper API app? All the processing is done on the user's computer too.Free instructions on how to use it:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABFqbY_rmEk You Could (but don't have to) also add an option to occasionally use the Cloud (like you do with the option in Photoshop to use local or Cloud-based Generative AI whenever it's needed) for more demanding audio transcription jobs.
