Please go back to the old export window. Either that, or separat out the tools panel from the export panel. Every time I export, I have to resize and move the export panel away from where I have the tools panel (as a tiny box between source & program monitors), then resize and move it back. Totally unnecessary steps.
HelloPlease Support Arabic Typing in Montion Graphics Templates
I use subsequences a lot. As soon as they are created I want to organize them, by naming & putting in relevant bin.In Avid, as soon as you create a sub clip or subsequence (that use the *same* command/keyboard shortcut btw) and it creates the sub clip/sequence it selects the name entry ready for overtyping. Which is very useful. It's also predictable where it puts subclip/sequence - in the last place you had it put them. Which is reset by holding alt as you make the subclip/sequence - where it offers a list of open bins, or 'create new bin' as an option. In Premiere I create subsequence - which creates it loose in the project that the sequence is in, I think, and loads it into the source monitor (which I guess is useful to someone). I then have to 'reveal in project's to rename & move to the project&bin I want it in. Generally this is to a different project in the production - e.g. Gfx/Name supers or Gfx/locations or Sfx/WooshTransitions. I guess this wo
My question is whether there are plans to add new languages for transcription. I am especially curious about the Polish language?
Productions workflow offers many advantages, but still has a long way to go, and simply is overly complicated, or comes up short in a lot of ways versus using just one Project File per project. One simple feature I'd like to see in Productions is the following: In a regular project file, if you click on a piece of media in the Project Panel, it will show in the Preview Area at the top (if it's turned on) if the selected piece of media is present in any sequences, and you can even click a drop-down list and select any instance of that media in any sequence. This functionality is lost in the productions workflow. Unless a piece of media sits in the same project as a sequence that contains it, this dialogue comes up and it seems like there is no instance of that media being used. This is hugely helpful in many ways, but with Productions encouraging the siloing of media to one project and sequences to others, we lose this very helpful functionality. For example –
When I apply the Warp Stabilizer to a clip using a set of presets I have developed that all have the warning banner disabled, I find that the Analyze button in Effect Controls is buggy and often grays out or shows the wrong clip's progress. For instance, I can drag and drop Warp Stabilizer on several different clips in a timeline. It doesn't automatically process when using presets, so I select the first clip and click Analyze. Once that analysis starts, I select another clip and find the button grayed out, but the notification shows progress counting up frames from the first clip that I don't have selected anymore. If I click off that clip and back on to it again, the button works now, and I can analyze only up to 5 clips simultaneously. In this screen recording, I'm selecting the first clip, then toggling back and forth between the next four clips until the button becomes available while the first clip is still processing. Ideally, I would love for this to be a ba
For the love of everything good, and thousands of people activily paying you every month, will you please make an ability to disable zoom on the program window or change the mouse scroll wheel behavior. You have screwed over thousands of people with a feature that most people did not ask for or want. Its wrecking our workflow. Having to place my mouse in time ruler is time consuming, annoying and not sufficient.Yes it makes sense having that in After Effects but this is premiere, a place we were scrub though footage and the time lines 100x more than we zoom. Whereas in After Effects you zoom more than you scrub through footage.I am very frusterated with the Adobe Team because it feels like they rarely listen to their community and instead do willy nilly things that a bunch of people sitting a room who don't edit for a living think would be useful. I speak for thousands of people when I say please change this. Just because not eveyone is wasting their time asking (lets be honest it
Qué tal, sería bueno que adobe tuviera la función de separar voz de pista de audio
WHYYYY is the position of a piece of text not included in a Text Style? Basically, I manually add captions to the videos I make because I need total flexibility for where they appear in the frame. The problem arises when I then come to create another version of the video where all that same text needs to be moved to the same place in the frame, like regular captions. There are probably ways of working around this that I haven't thought about, but it does raise the issue of why there isn't an option to include the position of the text in Text Style. It's driving me nuts!
Why is there a pop up warning when deleting keyframes in Premiere 'Pro'. Are Pro users not savvy enough to know what they're doing and need a warning EVERY SINGLE TIME we delete keyframes? There is no warning like this in After Effects. Why in Premiere? I've requested this be removed since CS5. How does this annoying pop-up still exist? At least give a preference toggle to turn this off. Seriously.Over 7 yrs, come on Adobe! Give your Pro users the benefit of the doubt in this 'Pro' application. YES I KNOW I AM DELETING KEYFRAMES.https://forums.adobe.com/thread/801578
The automatic transcription is pretty good (so, thank you Adobe), however it's not 100% accurate, lots of little mistakes. This means it still requires manual editing on words and punctuations scattered throughout the transcript. This also means that the user has to jump in and out of the transcript edit mode which is doing a lot of unneccessary clicking and becomes really annoying. I've used transcription for a while now and I dread the constant back and forth and the multiple clicks it requires to correct the text. There's got to be a better way to set up the user interface for thisPlease condsider creating a transcript edit mode where the text is always active and editable as it follows the active monitor. Also there's got to be a better way to restart the video once an edit is complete. It requires two clicks now- clicking out of the text box to deactivate it and then space bar to start the video play. When there are a lot of edits in a transcript this current system becomes
I would love to be able to open multiple clips in their own source monitors. Meaning, if I have 5 clips in my project, I want to be able to open up each of them in their own monitor window, giving me 5 windows to navigate between. When I reiview dailies, I like to look at a small section of each take and create a string out of those moments. Having each clip in their own monitor and toggling between them is a great way to handle this workflow. Presently, I grab all the clips I need, drag them to the source monitor, and then use a keyboard shortcut to switch between each one. It's not a terrible way of working, but being able to manually lay them out in their own monitors is a bit easier to wrap my head around when dealing with dozens of clips. Thank you!
so premiere has a feature where if you want to connect two words together you can highlight them both and then use the "merge selected caption segments" however what we dont have is a function that can split 2 words into their correct position on the timeline when they are both incorrectly in the caption box for example right now a client of mine says "even nowadays they scared me" "im not gonna lie" however in the captions it has connected the "me" and the "im" into the same text box, which just looks weird and gramatically incorrect
I really feel label colors should be visible in icon view. I also feel, whether in icon or freeform view, the label color selected should color around the whole clip in your bin. Currently label colors are just a tiny dot in freeform view. Color coding whole clips could help me mark where good NATs or visuals are and would allow me to find those clips again quickly when I'm ready to lay my b-roll down. I often have a large amount of raw footage, so being able to go through and mark the clips I want to use later would save me a lot of time. The little dots of color aren't obvious enough to catch my eye when scrolling back through my bin, for me personally.
I normally leave my program viewer (I think that is what it is called, it's the place my video plays when I press run from my timeline) set to "fit". I've noticed lately that I keep accidentally doing the right mouse scroll motion (2 fingers up and down on my trackpad), and that changes the fit, to some other real number. Is there a way to lock that setting to "fit" so it doesn't keep accidentally changing? I feel like this is new and it did not use to happen for me on previous versions or PR
If I click on the Description field of a folder, a box temptingly appears, but it's impossible to type anything into it. I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting to add a description to folders/bins in the Project Panel (exactly as I can add a description to anything else in PPro's Project panel). It's been impossible to add a description to a folder for many (all?) versions of PPro. Maybe it's "as designed", but it's not logical or useful. It's exactly the same if I show the "Comment" column. Let's have describable bins, please!
Hi everyone, I'm just starting to use pp2025 and as usual, its quite the change. I wanted to suggest/request/ask if the crop parameters (now located in the effects properties) be changed to act like the crop effect you would drag onto a clip? For example, there's no feather parameter in the effects panel and I think that would be a welcomed addition. Secondly, after you've cropped a clip with the effects panel, the clip does not act the same way it would if you applied the crop effect to the clip and did exactly the same crop. Example being applying the drop shadow effect to a cropped clip does not work - it does nothing - I'm assuming that the drop shadow is seeing the clip as a whole frame when the effects properties crop is used, whereas the application of the crop effect will yield the desired results of seeing the drop shadow on the edge of the desired cropped area. I hope I made sense there. I'm happy to explain it further if I need to.
I am currently using Premiere Pro 24.6.0. When I'm editing my videos, I heavily use the text panel. It really speeds up my workflow, being able to read the transcript what's being said instead of having to watch through the content. My main problem, however, is that as I'm adding cuts and regularly saving my work, the text panel will suddenly go blank, just saying "<Type your caption here>" over and over. At this point, I have to manually refresh the panel like so: It would be really nice if there was a button somewhere in the Transcript tab of the Text panel that was simply a refresh button. Just one simple click, and it will get your transcript back. Any of the three locations below would be good placements for such a button: Does anyone else encounter this issue, and does this seem like a good fix? Devs, would this be doable? I hope this is helpful. Thanks for your time!
It would be hugely helpful to have the option to automatically have a marker placed on the timeline to indicate when the person speaking changes from one person to the next. This seems like it would be fairly easy to implement, particularly with the current AI captioning system. As someone who produces hundreds of interview clips a year this would be a massive help that doesn't seem like it would be all that technically difficult to produce. PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!
Right now the slider only shows whole numbers.I can enter a value with decimals, but Premiere rounds them. The rounded value differs from the values in After Effects. After entering the value with decimals in Premiere, it is not possible to edit them.We need a more accurate slider.FYI we designed templates for our journalists, they use Premiere Pro for editing. The use of templates should be as easy as possible.
Currently, when you search for a word in a transcript, you have to jump through the transcript by hitting that little arrow to see what your search caught. What I would like is for it to act like the search bar in the project window, where the whole transcript disappears EXCEPT for the the lines that contain your search term. That way I would be able to quickly scroll through tons of hits and see which one best fits what i'm looking for. Who else likes this idea? Where I'm coming from - editing docs where I'm searching through literally dozens of multi-hour shoots for specific topics and phrases. If you want to go one step further, give me an AI that will read all the transcripts in my project and show me the lines of text that best match *thematically* what i'm looking for even if they don't contain any word that I used in my search prompt.
Currently the program monitor goes to black when there is no content to display with transparency. i.e. no media/clips under the playhead. This is incredibly jarring if you are making use of the grid while having fades for example because it jumps from black to instant transparency grid to an image fading in. See attached file for an example. The transparency grid should always be visible when enabled. I also think the transparency grid can use some QoL which I pointed out here.
Hello Adode community, I'm using Premiere Pro since last 1 years, and I'm a YouTube video editor who work for varies content creators. Well, I use to add video manual subtitle which is very time taking process. And I want to make this process faster and easy.
