This was an idea someone brought up 4 years ago, but it still isn't implemented.I think this is definintely something long over due. Would love to take the option from the hamburger menu of sequence tab in the timeline panel and be able to assigned a keyboard shortcut for it.
Since version 23, an update broke our workflow a little bit. We localize a lot of videos and used the offline/relink to swap out our locales. We would have a naming convention like this: "VIDEONAME_en_US_SCENE_01" and relink with "VIDEONAME_de_DE_SCENE_01" and it would automatically relink the other similarly named files. This worked in previous versions(since at least 2020-2022), but the last year or two it stopped working like this and we need to relink each file one by one. Is there a way we can re-enable this or get a checkbox to relink similarly named files?
I've found how to fix the bug where Premiere was pasting copies to the source's original layer rather than the target layer, but why is it ignoring my layer selection for new text or shape additions? It always dumps the text/shape on the lowest available layer rather than the one I select. Ridiculous. (Version 24.6.1 running on Windows 11)
Ability to invoke the Interpret Footage dialogue from the timeline by right clicking on the clip and the option being there like in the Project window, or being able to use the keyboard shortcut I've assigned to it.Because as of now, with the shortcut assigned, I still cannot select the clip in my timeline and use the keyboard shortcut. I often need to adjust the frame rate of stock.
Subtitles is showin in lines of texte, line of few words then the next line. But the words "not the whole line", are highlighted with a colored rectangle, so it moves from a word to a word. I am looking for an easy automated way rather than spend 10H on after effects to do in 2 lines of text. The world is changing this type of tools must exist
Premiere 24.4.1 What is the "edit workspaces" feature for, if not to control what workspaces appear in the Workspaces menu item? But it literally does nothing in the menus. Despite what it promises, you can't reorder the menu items and "do not show" doesn't make them not show. You can't even delete workspaces. Someone pointed out in another post that edit workspaces does change things in the menu that's accessible from the application frame. But what if you're like me and the first thing you do when you start up premiere is hide the application frame? This is a feature omission that feels more like a bug.
Issue - When you toggle off the Show FX Badges setting, the clip right click Show Clip Keyframes goes missing.Adobe Premiere Pro version number: v24.6.1 b2Operating system - Windows 11 PCSystem Info: CPU, GPU, RAM, HD:CPU i7-11700KFGPU 3080RAM 64gbHard Drive internal m.2Video format: h264 MP4, but also others as well, this doesn't matter to the bug.Workflow details: This is very simple. I usually edit with the pancake method which makes those little FX Badges annoying because they get in the way of trying to drag clips around. However when I turn them off the Show Clip Keyframes is removed from the right click menu. I use this often for keytframing time remapping and others.Steps to reproduce - (Very important!) Very simple, so same steps as above.Expected result - When Show FX Badges toggle is turned off, it should remove the little FX button on clips, but still keep the Show Clip Keyframes in the right click clip menu.Actual result -&
I am unable to use avi image format and have to convert everytime before using In PremierePlease make changes in the next update so we can use all codecs and use avi format comfortably
I request the addition of Turkish language support for the text-to-speech feature in Adobe Premiere Pro. It will significantly impact the workflows of users working with Turkish content.
A few apps have this for free. The plugins to downlod that are worth it are expensive. It would be a game changer to have the animated subtitles styles in the essential graphics tab. I'm sure there are creatives that would love to add their styles to the program, and work with adobe. Like how there were creatives that have their animated text effects in the new After Effects update. Then an option to upload your own MOGRT style.Once you have your subtitles, you could translate the languages. This would be a HUGEEEEE help too. Take the original language text and translate it and convert it right there so that it shows French text or whatever language you want it to be. The ai transcribing from different languages is nice, but even more useful would be to convert the text in program. Engligh text becomes french text, or whatever lamguage you choose.
Add New Feature in Program Monitor New Transform Tool With Shift Key Hold And Scale Photo/Video Like Strach... Program Monitor Transform Tool Only Transforming if add With Sift Key then Quick Scale This Tool Using... Plz Add this With Shift Key
Almost All Best Setting Include in Premiere Pro But Add This This Feature- Preview Screen Right Click Fill and Fit Option... This is Alreddy Have Properties Pannel but Add this Smart Quick Access Preview Screen Right Click and Show Fill and Fit
It would be amazing if framerate could show up in the timeline clip hover popup box. It would be even more amazing if there were a bunch of options you could show or not show in the hover, so that the info displayed was always relevant to your editing style. For me, I mainly want an easier way to determine the frame rate of a clip on a timeline. Used to be able to right click on the clip and click on properties to determine frame rate, so no need to show different panels or click around in premiere as it was just a right click away, but now properties has been removed from the right click popup. As far as I can tell there is no way to easily see the frame rate without having to show a different panel, like metadata or info, which either requires changing my workspace layout or clicking on different panels to reveal the needed info. This is a lot of extra clicks when I just want to know if I can properly change the speed of my clips. Other good options for framerate
It seems a waste to scrap voco, I believe today's market climate is more receptive to AI features, and I think you could implement voco video editing software safely by introducing steganograph watermarking to ensure that the tech is difficult to abuse.
Hi! I would love to be able to place and manipulate audio key frames simultaneosly on multiple audio tracks (as you can in Avid), using the playhead to mark where you want the key frames to be on the highlighted tracks. Thanks!
When text is selected, "Crop" does not appear in the "Switches for direct crop control."1. Select the "Text clip" on the timeline.2. Check the "Switches for direct crop control" in the bottom left of the Program Monitor.ResultThe "Crop" button does not appear, even though it should. IdealWhen a "Text clip" is selected, the "Switches for direct crop control" should appear, just like when a video clip is selected.
Wouldn't be amazing if there's a button to solo video tracks in premiere pro just like after after effects?
When selecting items in bins it would be SO helpful to show how many have been selected. When moving footage around between different media storage it's useful to know you have X number of footage in the bin or in the current selection.
I can't stand it at allI can't stand this garbage label patch even if I try to use it.The visibility is too bad.Adobe says they patched it to improve readability, but it actually makes the worker's work speed like garbage.Rather, the high contrast hurts my eyes.Of course, some users may like it,but many opinions, including mine, say it's garbage. Also, it's not clear whether the Fx effect is applied or not. (See attached file)You have to click or play to find the applied effect. This label patch is just garbage in every way. It's the worst patch that slows down my work speed. Please, please, please roll it back pleaseIt's really garbage. Please.
Everyonce in a while, I find that autosave is not working properly... probably a smart idea to check once a week to make sure... I've got my autosave interval set to every 5 minutes... and have the autosave folder saving to my media drive for the specific project.... I also have a folder on my startup drive for my premiere projects that is automatically mirrored on dropbox... And since I pay for a dropbox plan, I can actually access a fair number of versions of the project file for the last month... I'm that belt and suspenders kind of guy. Gotta say, I use to see this problem occasionally in fcp1-7... Don't remember if it ever happened back in early avid days in the 90's.
Hello Adobe Community,I would like to propose a feature that could significantly enhance the user experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects: an automated skin tone detection and correction tool.Description: This feature would automatically detect skin tones in video footage and adjust them to a predefined "base tone," regardless of the lighting conditions. This would streamline the editing process, allowing editors to achieve consistent and accurate skin tones with minimal manual adjustments. Why is this valuable? Many video editors face challenges with skin tone discrepancies due to varying lighting situations. By incorporating this tool, Adobe can enhance the editing workflow, reduce the time spent on color correction, and help maintain visual consistency across projects.Thank you for considering this suggestion! I look forward to hearing your thoughts and any feedback from the community.Best,Paul Steyn
Don't know if it's a bug, or something not thought through, it accompanies Premiere Pro for ages and no one seems to care about it... I think it's time to.If you open a 4K footage in the Source monitor while in a 1920x1080 sequence, the source mon shows the video cropped.Steps to recreate:1) Create a FHD sequence:2) Import a 4k footage3) Drag it onto the timeline keeping the existing settings4) Doulbe-click on it on the timeline and see this:And here's what it should look like or does so when opened from the project bin:So the source monitor should show the videos the same way in all cases. I think this should be fixed.Premiere Pro 25 (or any), footage properties below (or - again - any 4K), 14700K, 4080, latest Studio drvs, Win11Don't know if it's important - Fit to screen is set as default scaling in the preferences. Type: MPEG Movie File Size: 55,94 MB Image Size: 3840 x 2160 Frame Rate: 25,00 Total Duration: 00:00:31:16 Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1,0 Alpha: None Color Space: R
I like transcribing in Premiere. The one thing I wish it had is the ability to Export the transcription as an SRT - without having to create captions. I don't need the captions as a track. I just need to create an SRT from the transcription. Most third party AI's will allow you to export a transcription as an SRT without creating a caption track. That would be my suggestion.
