Flash Player (read-only)

Once the app is downloaded on my laptop it keeps asking for a username and password to install. Where do I create a password and what username do I use?

Hello, I am running IE on a windows 7 platform and recently made the horrendous mistake of clikcing to download the new flash. Unfortunately after downloading the installer doesn't automatically run. Adobe helpfully suggests clicking save and open instead, which I have. This then prompts me to choose a program to open it with. The same thing happens if I try to download the installer separately. I cannot get to the point where flash starts to install. To make matters worse whilst trying to fix it I deleted the previous version (a website said it might be the issue- it wasn't) and now I can't even get back to that. Has anyone came across this before and knows what to do? Also please don't pitch any responses to a computer software engineer level, I'm not very good with computers.

I've been trying to resolve Error 2046 on adobe flash player, which has consistently popped up while trying to stream videos. More recently while trying to use Filmstruck. I am using a Mac with High Sierra, and have tried this on bother Chrome and Firefox. I have cleared my browsing cache. I have updated my browsers, and uninstalled and am trying to reinstall flash, which I am having trouble finding out my version on firefox. The page does not load properly to show what I have. On Chrome, it does show me that I have the most recent version. I also have tried several times clicking and unclicking "Uncheck the box next to "Store common Flash components to reduce download times." Click Confirm on the ensuing popup box." on the Global Settings Panel.UPDATE: When I go to Flash Player help on Firefox it is telling me that Flash is not installed or enabled, but again when I try the below "Unable to Connect" box appears"Flash Player Help Any help is appreciated, and I have attached some screen

Here is the situation: we used an older version of Flash to create content in an educational web ap.. In that ap, we have a built-in piece of code that serves as a Flash-detect, located right before a user reaches our Flash content. But now, since modern browsers prompt users to ALLOW or BLOCK Flash content only ONCE they actually hit a page that contains Flash content, users are hitting our old Flash-detect code before they Allow Flash and therefore often fail that Flash-detect code and then get stuck just before actually reaching the Flash content, thus just before they would be prompted by their modern browsers tsimply ALLOW Flash and thus to be able to go forward. So, as a solution, we are wondering about the idea of perhaps placing a new piece of Flash content onto an earlier page (upsteam in the user's sequence of our old Flash-detect code).  Our thought is that this newly added Flash animation graphic would trigger modern browsers' own built-in, user-friendly Flash-detect m

Hi, I'm running a Windows 10 PC.Adobe Flash doesn't work when I use YouTube Enhancements, it gives an error message which states "this video editing tools require a modern version of flash"less than a second later, it gives a white screen. Can no longer play O365/Sharepoint videos in IE11 on Windows 7 PCs. They played until recently. The videos are mp4s and Adobe flash is used to play them. Chrome and Firefox play the videos fine.I tried everything i could find without success. Any ideas?

I am trying to create an APP-V package of Mozilla Firefox 60.0.2 with Flash player current version.  I am having problems finding the standalone installers.  Going to Adobe Flash Player Install for all versions  is not an option.  The Sequencer is a Windows 2008 R2 server which is blocking the download.  I have placed exceptions for Adobe's website and turned off security but I still can't download the software.  Why is it so hard to download a standalone copy of free software?

Hi,A security scan has return ed multiple instances of:Adobe Flash Player <= 29.0.0.113 (APSB18-08) (108958)The solution is to Upgrade to Adobe Flash Player version 29.0.0.140 or later.All servers (2012 R2) are on a later version than 29.0.0.140 and when i look in the registry it shows the correct version.However when i query the version via a PowerShell script it returns an old version of 28.xxxxx which is probably why the security alert is being generated.Anyone have any ideas why the PowerShell script would be retruning false results? It has to be collecting the data from somewhere and obviously thinks it is accurate.Thanks

Hi, I am trying to install flash debugger 18 in Windows 10 which pre-installed windows 18.0.0.209.When I try to run the installer, flashplayer_18_ax_debug.exe, it prompted message above.Then I tried both Windows8.1-KB2867622-x64 and Windows8.1-KB2867622-x86, it prompted the followingSeems the both of the installers are not working.   I also tried to use uninstaller to make clean install , seems theflash player cant be uninstalled: Even the uninstaller told uninstall successfully, IE is still able to run flash.As I need to develop console app which base on active X, I couldn't use projector to debug. I am trying to give a user the ability to access files from a N.A.S that's set up just for her department. Everything works fine until she trys to upload. When trying to upload she receives a pop up to install the newest adobe flash. The workstation has flash and I also have the flash enabled for chrome, edge, explorer.I cant get adobe on the phone or chat for this issue because flash is free....Please adviseThanksNavi

I've downloaded the extended support release for flash player 18.0.0.333. Smart-Screen is stating that the signature is corrupt or invalid. I'm downloading from the flash player distribution site.Is this going to be resolved?

Help! My adobe flash player is installed and up to date but when I try to use it, it says it needs an update! I've tried everything from reinstalling it again and again to fixing the settings on chrome and safari. and it says in settings it doesn't need an update. I'm so frustrated! For example Latitude 3189 on Rosetta Stone website.  When starting a lesson,   Adobe Flash pops up asking to select a Microphone.  Correct mic is displayed. After selecting mic, the app will attempt to test the mic.   Test fails because app cannot hear anything through the mic.  Note that same audio driver works fine on Latitude 7480 with only 2CH mic recording capability.  Recording tests work fine in Windows or at any non-Adobe flash site...Any ideas what may be happening here?
