We download the flash player active x msi, directly from the flash player licensing website to create a Flash Player Active X application and deploy it through SCCM as system - whether or not a user is logged in. The GUID, msi and installation source\path is the same on all 15,000 + WIN 7 machines in our environment since we are deploying through SCCM. SCCM shows installation success on the machines. The majority of our end-users do not have admin rights.We received reports from various users that when attempting to take training courses with flash content, the course detects that flash player active x is not installed. The website states to download the latest version of flash player. When we log in to troubleshoot (rdp to machine as an admin) the install, by “verifying flash installed” on the adobe website https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html shows installed. My videos won't play from flash player; I tested flash and did the troubleshooting methods here (Adobe Flash Player issues with Windows 10 (Microsoft Edge)​ but still, no luck. It was already toggled to on, and even after refreshing, nothing changed...can anyone help me make sure that I'm able to use videos on my laptop again? Thank you!

User had a pdf document with flash content in it that would not open. We had to install flash player from the web (.exe) for it to work. Going to roll out the latest plugins with SCCM so that this does not happen.  Which plugin/MSI needs to be installed so PDFs can view flash content? ActiveX, NPAPI, or PPAPI? Something else?

I am trying to run a program that requires loading the adobe flash player.  When I click to install the flash player it starts an install process but forces me to purchase the adobe stock product before I can complete the process.  I purchase the product and find out the flash player never installed.  I look through the troubleshooting docs and it tells me for Safari 11.x you need  to check the safari preferences and verify that the flash plugin is enabled.  I checked the safari>> preferences websites section and  I do not have any plugins installed for me to enable/disable.  Please advise how I can install the flash player.  Thanks

Hi..I have Mozilla Firefox as browser.. windows 7after I installed update a while back my flashplayer  does not work..Ive looked a various option..ie..activated add ons for firefox etc..  clicked on the icon to install on various sites but to no avail.when I download and install  the Flashplayer icon disapears immediately from my installed site but looks to be in my downloads.,Ive tried numerous options but nothing seems to work..  however on oine site I clicked on the icon and it appeard to be okuntil I expaned screen to  'full screen' then it all freezes..

Hello, I was trying to download adobe flash player but it says I have already downloaded it and when I try to use the internet or facebook I am unable to use the apps and videos which require adobe flash player because it says that I need to install version 3 of adobe flash player.

So this popped up when I was reading the news on a site that was not Adobe. Anyone else seen this? It looks similar to the one going around claiming to be a Firefox update. The filename has some strange website in it. I have looked for Adobe support to report this to but I have found none.If you get this, don't let it download into your machine. I'm not sure what it is, but I bet it isn't good!!!

Hi there,I have purchased a new MacBook Air, have updated my OS, am using Safari and am trying to install flash player. When I have gone through the process of downloading and installing Flashplayer it seems to have loaded and when I go into system preferences on my computer it shows the latest version of flashplayer is updated.But- when I try and go on photo editing app sites like pixlr or sumopaint they tell me to install flashplayer. I am unable to access images from my computer to edit in their apps and think this may be the problem so I do some more digging and am re-directed to the adobe site to the 'check if flashplayer is installed' page. When I click 'check' it says that flashplayer is NOT installed on my computer.Please help. Ive been trying to figure this out for hours

One of my online classes runs through Adobe connect and I have to watch the recording daily. However, when I click on the recording I want to watch it tells me my flash player is outdated or needs to be downloaded. I click to download it and it says my laptop already has flash player downloaded. I tried doing the steps to get it working and it still isn't working. This laptop isn't even a month old. My dad has the same one and this problem never happens. Help!!!

Hello,In researching another DCOM error I can across this one: Windows 10 Forums I tested this and confirmed that by disabling the plugin in Firefox solved the issue and DCOM errors are not thrown upon exit when FF closes and Plugin is disabled.Best Regards
