Flash Player (read-only)

Flash player stopped working on the user account but works on the admin account.   Screen says not installed, go to install - says its already installed. Try test and it says not installed or blocked. Check controls - not blocked.   Admin and user settings identical.....any ideas?

Latest version of Flash Player (NPAPI & PPAPI Plug-in version 26.0.0.151) spontaneously changes settings back to ‘defaults’ every time I boot up computer.I use the options “Ask me before allowing new sites to save information on this computer” under Storage. I use “Block all sites from using the camera and microphone” under Camera and Mic. I use “Block all sites from using peer-assisted networking” under Playback. I use “Notify me to install updates” under Updates.Each time I boot/reboot my computer, these settings are somehow changed back to ‘default’ settings, which I don’t want, meaning I have to go into the Flash Player Preferences panel on my Mac and change the settings back to the way I want them. Every time.This wasn’t a problem until this latest Flash Player update. I’m using macOS Sierra Version 10.12.6. I’m starting to think the Flash Player has some kind of malware embedded that’s changing these settings against my preferences.Any suggestions? I’m seriously thinking of t

How do I block automatic Flash updates?  Is blocking the updates possible in the registry? If yes, then how?  These questions are in reference to a work environment where Flash updates will be deployed through SCCM.

On every single device and piece of software, even Chrome, I am able to right click a swf (through Adobe Flash Player) and hit print to print the shown page. Is there a block on Chromebook that takes away that option? I can still right-click on the swf, and still get the option to print, but then no dialog box appears to allow me to actually do so. Like I said, it works fine in Google Chrome on my mac and pc, so it is strictly a chromebook issue. Does anyone know a fix around for this issue?

Hello,I'm running Win7 64bit , I have Chrome , Opera , FF , Safari and I'm able to view Youtube and Dailymotion and other websites videos just fine, but I can't view any video from that sitefree after effects templates | after effects intro template | ShareAE all the videos give a blank window and when right clicking I get 'movie not loaded..'. I tried some old suggestions from Google like clearing cache and using Adobe uninstaller then reinstall flash player but they didn't work Any new fixes for this?

When I open up AOL desktop I am plagued with pop up screens. Messages saying Adobe flash player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation.NOTE the potentially .I have argued this with AOL but they blame browser add ons for this but I don't have any add ons. This only happens with AOL and I can use my computer perfectly okay when not using AOL. AOL will not take responsibility for this. Can anyone in Adobe shed any light on this and a possible solution to it.Help please. This is driving me nuts.

I am trying to download a training seminar for a job I am applying for. However I am unable to download this training seminar because, according to the message I receive, my adobe is outdated and needs to be updated to the newer version Adobe flash player. I have successfully downloaded the program but I am still receiving that message every time I try to download the training seminar.Thank you,Ruth

We are using the javascript to detect the flash player security settings. We have old products in which javascript is sending the command to flash file to jump to next frame. The function TGotoFrame() has been used for this communication. This was working fine with earlier updates to Flash player. However, after upgrade to Flash Player 26.0.0.XXX, it started giving error that TGotoFrame is not a function. This error occurs only with chrome browsers. Please help us to resolve this issue.

I click to install it and it will not install because IE already says I have it.  I need to talk to a real person who can walk me through how to fix this ASAP

Since the release of "FLASHPLAYERPLUGINCHROMEv26.0.0.137", though, the “Adobe Flash Player PPAPI Notifier” exists in Task Scheduler (Windows) has been running every 7 days [calls c:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\FlashUtil32_26_0_0_137_pepper.exe -check pepperplugin]How can we go about suppressing “Adobe Flash Player PPAPI Notifier” the way “Adobe Flash Player Updater” has been suppressed in the past? Should the mms.cfg currently in place suppress the PPAPI Notifier as well?

I was glad to read the news about the new feature of silent auto updates of the Adobe Flash player, but unfortunately this is not working on my machine. I have had this problem off and on for weeks.I am using Windows 10, and Google Chrome, although the problem is the same with Firefox and Microsoft Edge. Flash is updated to current version: 26.0.0.151 All games stutter and freeze, and the same happens when watching TV or videos.Also, I have tried numerous times to change my update settings to 'update Flash automatically', but it always reverts back to 'Change Update Settings' and 'Check Now'.Please advise.

I have been trying for 2 days to download and install Adobe Flash Player. Went through all the steps to correct the problem provided by Adobe with no luck. I had Adobe Flash Player on this computer before and it worked just fine but had to replace the hard drive and re-install Windows 7 from the disks provided when I purchased the computer. We're a vendor of educational software with millions of uses monthly in schools and by home users. Recently, the browsers seemed to change from having to not only install Flash but to have to enable it for specific websites. While each browser is slightly different (Chrome, Safari, Edge/IE, Firefox), they all seem to have moved to slight variations of this paradigm.Does anyone have a great utility that will:1. Detect if Flash is both installed and enabled for this website2. If Flash is not both installed and enabled, will provide detailed directions to the user of exactly what they should do to install or enable for their browser?It seems silly for us each to write this. Does it already exist somewhere? Has Adobe provided it?Or are we on our own?
