Flash Player (read-only)

Every 30 minutes, or so, Flash Reader asks to be updated. When  click update, it gives me the "discontinued" notice. I have Reader turned off in my browser, but how do I get rid of these update requests?

We all know that the Vanilla version of Flash Player is reaching End-of-life on December 31 2020 in about two months, but does that date also extend to the Mainland Chinese version of Flash Player called Adobe Flash.cn? I ask this question because many Chinese internet companies & services in addition to the Chinese Government aren't willing to spend the time, money or resources necessary to migrate from the aging Flash Player to HTML5 due to minor incompatibility problems with their services. Once again, I live in the United States and not in China, So unless an Adobe moderator confirms that the Flash.cn version of Flash Player also end on December 31 2020, let me know.

I have used flashplayer since I first started using the internet which is since 2007. Now that Flashplayer will be dead at the end of December 2020 what do I use instead ? I am using Windows 10 64 bit and am worried that come January 2021 my computer will cease to operate properly. Can anyone help with suggestions please ?

How do I permanently "allow" the Flash Player to run?Each of my browsers show it "disabled".  When I change it to "allow", it does not stay set that way. I have to change it everytime I restart the browser. Please can you help?

please do not end support for flash player in Jigidi Jigsaw game in December 2020I will have to leave that site if you do this 

because you have decided to stop adobe flash player which all the games plus other programmes i use on my systems you say that it will end as of the 31st december 2020 of which all my systems will stop working am i too understand that if i want them to continue i have have to download the cloud systems and pay you £600 per year as it states for a personel account its £49.95 per month which is very very very expensive if this is the case i feel that you as adobe will fail massively as i can for see the general public will end up suing you for breach of conditions and forcing us to pay for a service that is extorsionatly too expensive i for one will not be able too afford it and will have no alternative but to close down all of the services it currently operates and i will look at finding the funds to sue you for malpractice 

if u dont continue to support adobe i will ignore all adobe product by miles 

I'm away from home.  tried to watch my direct TV from MacBook air.  It says I have install the free Adoe Flash player, which I click on.  Now it wants me to buy an adobe package.  I called direct TV and they tell me I have to call Apple.  I pay these guys a bunch of money every month?

Hello,Not sure if this was asked before, but I want to know if i'll still be able to view Flash content that's not online. I know Flash will no longer be supported on browsers, but what about installed content? I have Flash animations and games on discs and on my PC; some of them are pretty rare and precious. I'd like to know if i'll still be able to use them after 2020.

Hi there, im trying to get the latest flash player from the distribution download area but I keep getting the following licence error: Your license for Adobe Flash Player distribution expired on 2020-10-13.Please re-apply at hxxp://xxx.adobe.com/products/players/flash-player-distribution.html I did reapply for the distribution licence last week and it was approved by Adobe, but I still get the same error as if the licence has not applied to my account. Please can someone advise on how to resolve this?

Hello,I need help,We developed a html browser based on "Adobe air" to run flex application(SWF) and replace normal browsers (IE, chrome, ..).It works perfectly,  it runs web application based on Flex, but we have in our application a  link that opens a servlet which opens in an external browser(or tab for IE, chrome,..) , in adobe air so we loses the session and we cannot access to servelet.I have already tried puting the headers that contain the session ID in the URLRequest,  but it shows me an error with the navigateToURL (request) method: SecurityError: Error #3769: Security sandbox violation: Only simple headers can be used with navigateToUrl() or sendToUrl(). When using the URLLoader object with the load method the request returns data, no session problem and it keeps the same session. We're in the process of removing all vestiges of flash player from our network and have found ~40 devices that have the activex player installed. We don't have easy physical access to these devices so we're trying to push a remote script to remove this plugin from their computers, however in testing I'm finding that the uninstaller.exe file available from Adobe has no effect on this particular plugin, running it with either -uninstall or -uninstall activex doesn't remove the plugin from the computers I've been testing on. Anyone have any guidance on this?

Hi guys, I've been getting this pop-up ad non-stop every day even after I download it, it comes back a week later and it seems kind of suspicious because I disabled the normal Adobe Dialog Box on startup but this still keeps popping up. When I press download it takes me to this site

Hi there,Reacting to a Flash Player prompt to update the Player I keep being returned to a page telling me, Flash Player will no longer be supported from next year. I fully appreciate that, but getting the same prompt to update and keeping being returned to this home about once every hour during a busy working day is pretty annoying. Should I simply uninstall Flash Player or do you have another solution? Thanks in advance,  Best regards,Adam, DK

I have received messages about EOL Flash Player. I use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC simply to read PDFs. What do I need to do, in order to continue doing this?

I got a notice today stating that Adobe Flash Player support will end December 31st, 2020. I did read the Adobe Flash Player End of Life information but am not quite savvy in tech knowledge. Adobe Flash no longer supported after Dec. 2020. I have a Windows 10 installed, what about future updating? Any other taking its place? Some sites require a player for viewing ads, etc.

When I login to download flash player it tells me my license expired 10/10/2020. I reapplied and received notice via email that my license was approved on 10/11/2020. But when I go to download it still says my license expired 10/10/2020. I get the same result on another computer. Adobe Support needs to update my Account.
