Flash Player (read-only)

Good morning.Would you, please, help me with my problem?At the link https://helpx.adobe.com/pl/flash-player.html I checked whether I had FLASH PLAYER. I have FLASH PLAYER, version 32.0.0.465, installed in my laptop. I do not know very well how FLASH functions.I have a browser Google Chrome.I recently read in your website articles referring to changes in using FLASH.Am I obliged to uninstall my FLASH PLAYER? Will I do anything against the law or violate any of your rights if I do not uninstall FLASH PLAYER?Yours sincerely,Mariusz Wnorowski

Hi. Question. When I opened the icon Adobe Flash Player Manager, it asked that I click on "uninstall". No problem there, BUT... after clicking this I received another message: "Adobe Flash Player Install Manager is trying to install a new helper tool. Enter your password to allow this." Is this safe and why do I need a "new helper tool" to uninstall Flash Player?Thank you for your help,Connie

I'm currently working on a soundboard in Flash CS5 Actionscript 3.0, I am somewhat new to this, so I was wondering if anyone still knows how to set it so I can press the spacebar to stop all of the sounds currently playing. Would help me a lot and I would much appreciate a response. Thanks!

I was testing the behavior of Flash post-EOL (setting the date forward to late January 2021) and noticed that right-clicking a Flash object and choosing "Check for Updates..." sometimes loads https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/about and sometimes loads flash.cn (the flash distribution site for China). The click on "Check for Updates..." opens https://www.adobe.com/go/check_for_flash_player_updates which then redirects to one of the 2 locations. This also happens when retesting with the date set back to normal. Since I am not in China (I'm in the US) and not using a Chinese version of Windows, Firefox, or Chrome OS, this seems like unexpected behavior. Since the URL loads adobe.com first, this should be fixable on the website without a flash player update. My main concern is that the end users at my organization might click this (since browsers will mark flash as "out of date" before the update to completely remove support) and they could get a false impression t

We have approximately 1700 swf files that were created via Flashpaper in a Coldfusion application.  We need to convert these to pdf files.  Are there any recommendations for how to do a bulk conversion?

I have Windows 7. Flash Player is ending in January. Do I need it to run Photoshop or any Adobe apps? Is there other programs like Flash Player I can use?

Hello, so today I wanted to open Facebook.com on computer as always and suddenly since today I am seeing the same thing all the time (picture in attachment). Thing is, when I open messenger (facebook's product) on chrome, it works, just facebook.com doesnt work. On other browsers - opera/firefox it works, just on chrome it doesnt, tried to disable all extensions, tried 2 antivirus programs, nothing helped it, even tried to download Flash Player multiple times and install it and still no help, dont you know a fix for that??as of youtube, it doesnt work on chrome, but works on firefox/opera as well.Adobe says I am using the newest Flash Player within Chrome and everything works fine..but it does not..if anyone can, I would appreciate any help!!+PS: No other sites are doing that, just facebook and youtube exclusively.PS2: I am a bit worried of reinstalling the Chrome as I dont want to lose all the bookmarks and passwords.

If the total closure of Adobe flash player has been in the pipeline for 3 years, WHY are we only reading about this now?  To interact with the Receiver of Revenue in any way the flash player has to be the latest edition and this was still happening last week when I had to do VAT and PAYE reconciliations on the  SARS  websiteI'm really not impressed

I was wonder if I was able to run an old version of Adobe flash player for a specific site I use to make music. I know it's out of date since 2017, but is there any way I can install an older version to make flash work? or even run the latest version without it saying that it's out of date? (Chromebook)

I am teaching students with special needs virtually, due to COVID. Many of the educational activities I am using require Adobe Flash Player. I'm assuming these will all be inaccessible after January 12, unless all of the various providers/developers transfer their content to another format. (I hope I'm using the correct terminology.) I feel as if a great chasm of the unknown is opening, and I am standing on the edge with no idea what to do. Any suggestions?

Hi, I would like to know if an Electron application embedding the flash player will continue working also after the Flash EOL. As I know there are two deadlines here:1 Jan 2021: Chrome should block flash plugin. Does this extend to the chromium browser embedded in an electron application?12 Jan 2021: Flash player will stop running flash content. Does this extend to the flash player eventually embedded in an Electron application?Thanks

We have some manufacturing equipment that is still running in a protected Windows 7 environment that still requires Flash, and in part due to COVID will need to for another 6 months.  We have discovered that there are multiple versions of Flash in the environment. (5 years to less than 3 monts old) in this environment.  It is critical for these systems to remain operational and need to know:1. What version of Flash was the "Time Bomb" placed into the code?2. If we remove the "Tim Bomb" Version and load an older version will it be "protected" from the Jan 12th "Time Bomb?" 

How do we go about testing and validating that the enterprise enablement works prior to the "Time Bomb" of January 12, 2021?

It is absolutely ridiculous for them to do this when the pandemic is still going on and peoples' mental health is lower than ever. It's just plain insensitive. It's like asking to be responsible for multiple suic*des, like have they even thought this through?

We are looking to leverage the Enterprise Enablement for flash, but need details on the relatoinship between the OS / Browser and Flash Player. At the point when the Flash Player is forced to leverage the Enterprise Enablement CFG file (Jan 12th), if we have a site that requires Flash, but was not placed in the CFG file, will the browser fail over to use the OS imbedded flash, or because Flash Player is installed it will not fail over to the OS imbedded flash? Is this the same for IE11 as well as the new Edge & Chrome?

I un-installed Flash Player successfully, but there are two directories containing files from flash player that I am unable to delete.  I get a message saying I need permission from Flash Player to delete the files.  One of the directories is :   c:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash Other directory is; c:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash%appdata%Adobe\Flash Player\%appdata%\Macromedia\Flash Player Thanks for any advice on how to delete these files.    Angus
