Flash Player (read-only)

In 2001 while in a Jr College class I created a 'Memorial' file with the .swf extension.  What do I need to change it to in order to still be able to play it after Flash goes away in December?  I've attached a copy of the file. 

Hi, I have a jsp page where I am embedding shockwave flash as an object to enable voice recording from browser and upload to my tomcat server. I am using the WAMI recorder and using the API to call startRecording and stopRecording. When stopRecodring gets executed, the JSESSIONID cookie value gets changed and I see this message in the browser console (chrome) :  Indicate whether to send a cookie in a cross-site request by specifying its SameSite attribute. Specify SameSite=None and Secure if the cookie should be sent in cross-site requests. This enables third-party use. The version of tomcat I am using (8.0.47) does not support the samesite attribute and there's only solutions suggested for tomcat 8.5 and above. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue? (We are working on migrating this entire solution to a different technology but it could take a while and we need to support flash until then) 

Hey 👋 So I am trying to play some very old flash games, from the 2010's. My current flash player version is too new, so I uninstalled it and tried to install a much older version, from about 2014. Once downloaded, I got some instructions about installation, that didn't make sense. Something about moving a file called libflashplayer.so to my browser's plug-in directory. The browser that I am using is Firefox. Also I'm not sure if I installed the right version, as all the articles I've looked at to find a solution are talking about Linux. Can anybody help me here? Thanks Jamie 

My iMac prompted to update my Flash Player (my settings are to allow Adobe to install).  The download was identified as containing adware (Mughthesec).  I removed the file and went directly to Adobe.com logged into my account and downloaded the Flash Update directly from Adobe.com (https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/download/?installer=FP_32_Mac_for_Safari_and_Firefox_-_NPAPI&stype=7684&standalone=1).  This file also was identified as containing the same adware. In researching this I've seen a lot of posts regarding fake links for flash updates containing adware. I've come to two conclusings: 1.  The valid flash update file from Adobe.com scanned with the three separate applications I've used for identify malware/adware and being trigged incorrectly; or2. Adobe is included adware within their updates for business and marking without advising users. I'd appreciate if you could clarify this issue. Thank you.

I have just downloaded Adobe Flash Player and I  am having trouble with locating the adobe flash player entry. what should I do?

C-mon, we use it all the time for educational activities - how about continuing to support Flash or provide some sort of converter? Thanks,Mike GoltzerTeacher 

At year's end, when Flash Player is no longer being supported, what is/are my alternatives?

I was prompted to update my Adobe Flashplayer on 13 May 2020.  I allowed the download, ran a Bitdefender scan on the executable (it was clean), and then permitted the installation (it appeared legitimate) ; however I became suspicious as soon as the update completed because the executable file did not disappear from my download directory, as it usually does.  I then researched the name, and it is malware.  I checked the properties, and it wasn't a system file like usual.  The fake file is called flashplayer32au_a_install.exe (I believe the legitimate file is flashplayer32_a_install.exe). My question for the community is how do I remove this from my system?  Is there a fix?   I uninstalled Flashplayer, deleted the executable, ran a full system scan with Bitdefender, but there is still malware on my computer.  It keeps launching an update process in the background, and I end the task each time it restarts.  There are 3 fake folders (as fa

Anyhow, got a notice to update and becasue of prior issues went first to Adobe.com, but couldn't find any new update. However, found a link to a post that casued me to do a bit of checking and now I'm not sure if I mihgt have installed malware. Extensive details below. I recently spent a lot of money for what I thought would be the perfect tool for my daughter to use in her freshman year of college. I purchased IPad pro and there is no availability of flash for this device. Why? every single assignment and video requires it for her to submit or review or etc. What is the work around why can it not be done? I have a 1100 dollar mistake that can not be reversed on my hands!

Hi, I am adobe flash player on Mac. But when I was trying to open a video via flash player, it shows that' Flash Player is not compatible with your region. Please install it again.' But I cannot reinstall it since it says ' I already have the latest version of flash player on my computer.' 

Hello, I have several Flash-based games saved in my HDD and I used to play it simply by directly clicking on the game's icon or right-click on it and then choose the version of independent/standalone Flash players that I have (I have several versions of Flash player/projector). I usually grouped those independent/standalone Flash players in a folder that I hidden so that it doesn't hinder my activity. But recently I unhidden and changed the name of those Flash players and the name of the folder it contains in order to move it to some other device. Strangely after I do that Windows no longer able to recognize it. I know that when I changed the name that also broke the path and thus I should set Flash player as the default program again, but then when I tried to do that Windows doesn't regognize it, no error, no pop-up, no nothing! I simply right click a game ->open with->choose program->browse-> and then select one of the Flash player that I had in it's dedicated folder

I uninstalled Flash Player from Windows 10 but the Flash Player Settings Manager remains in Control Panel.  Would like to remove it as well.

I have a question regarding the end of Adobe Flash and a mobile app I have on my phone. The app is the mobile version of a game that uses Flash, so I assume the app probably uses AIR to run it. My question is, with Flash going away at the end of this year, what will happen to the app? Will it still work?

is adobe being replaced with  HTML5 and if so will it still work with our games on facebook or is facebook trying to get rid of game players  if so will you support the games if  they come too you from the zynga and others like them  alot of us enjoy playing these games and don't want to lose them so  is there some way to keep from losing them??? what can we as players do to not lose our games????

This almost makes my blood boil with how anying it is.
