I'm using a Freso for ipad, and also using magic keaboard. I don't remember exactly when it happened, but the shortcut doesn't work except for a few commands.(like cmd+s, cmd+t. That's all) i don't know why this happened... if anyone has had this problem before, can you help me?
It's really easy to create your own custom brushes for Fresco using Fresco and Adobe Capture. I've outlined the basic steps here, or you can watch the video for a more in depth tutorial. 1. Create a square document in Fresco and paint some dots on it. 2. Quick export an image to the camera roll. 3. Open the image in Adobe Capture and choose to create a Brush asset. 4. Edit the Crop so you have all BODY, no TAIL or HEAD. You can also rotate the drawing in this view to get different effects. 5. Chose the Close and intial direction Style. 6. Turn of the Size under the pressure setting, for drawing with an Apple pencil. Take the spacing to 1%. 7. Save the new brush to a Creative Cloud Library. 8. Now you are ready to start painting with it in Fresco. Return to Fresco and open a document to work on. 9. Find the custom brush in the Pixel Brushes. Swipe to the bottom and Find the Creative Cloud Libraries. Your new brush will be in a Library. You can create a Library
One feature we need is a floating brush palette, that includes current brushes used and top favorites (default). 5 brushes of current, 5 brushes of default/favorite below it on a floating palette for easy access. Plus it's about time you add more drawing tools, not just the ruler! Great app!
Hello! When I export in PDF, the preview is blurry, I export it directly to drive to share it with my work team and it gets pixelated. I don't know what the problem is, it is very annoying. With Adobe draw this did not happen to me.
I currently use Procreate on my iPad Pro to produce artwork. In order to take my Procreate results to different applications on my iPad, I transfer them as Photoshop .PSD files. Occasionally, I receive .PSD files from clients that I must open and work from/on using non-Adobe apps on my iPad. The .PSD file type is something I've comfortably used in my iPad workflow for several years. Upon installing Fresco on my iPad, the .PSD file type becomes unavailable for all of the other apps on my iPad. Apparently, the way it's coded tells iPadOS that the .PSD extension is its exclusive domain, and that no other software can open any document of that type. This greatly impacts my ability to get my work done. When it comes to my workflow and the large number of iPadOS apps that support it vs Fresco and it's nifty animated paint effects, I choose my workflow. Until then, Fresco is simply not an option for my iPad experience.
Hi,I painted on a canvas set up with 200 ppi but when I export a JPG at High Quality the resulting file is showing 96 ppi. That means I won't be able to print at the size that I set within the document before I started painting. Any idea why it downsized the ppi on me? This was the full Export As version, not the Quick Export. Thanks much.
I've either found a bug or a quirk I don't understand: if I'm using the vector brush in Erase as Brush mode by activating the little hotspot (forget its name), it turns on Select Multiple Layers. Steps to replicate: choose Vector Brushcreate multiple layerstap the "hotspot" to change to Erase with brushattempt to change layers- instead it will select multiple layers and there appears to be no way to stop it other than changing back to regular brush mode this behavior does not occur with the vector brush in brush mode or with the eraser tool. This happens to be tedious with my personal workflow (creating many vector layers and then switching between them and erasing to neaten them) thanks, I'm enjoying fresco! The Blob Brush is my #1 tool in Illustrator for desktop, so it was nice to have many of my favorite features enabled and expanded upon on the iPad!
iPadOS 13.7 - brand new iPad Pro and Fresco repeatedly shuts off when I try to open. I rebooted iPad and problem persists! Hoping someone at Adobe has a solution.
I installed Frescon on my laptop recently. It installs with no problem. When I open it for the first time, it opens and shows the main window. However, when I select the document size to create a new document, it crashes. After that, everytime I start the software it is loaded to the point that asks if I want to send a report on the previous crash. But before I can do anything, it crashes again after couple of seconds. I got the log file.AdobeLogs_20200831_110502_488-win.zip I appreciate if you could give me some adivice.# Thanks.
Hi - I have a Dell XPS 15 Touch with a stylus. I see Fresco supports Windows Surface systems but is there any way it will work on this? I am running Windows 10. I have the very hi res screen. thank you and I have a monthy subscription for Adobe. If not Fresco, is there any other Adobe paint program that supports Dell XPS 15 touch?thank youtheresa
Hi, When using he hard brush my strokes keep coming out with these dots. I'm not sure what's going on. Any help will do.
Right now you have to go into an app to add custom swatches and you can only add 5 colours. There should be ways to make your own swatches within Fresco that you can save and use between projects.
Considering the popularity of Surface devices, and tablets will we be seeing Fresco on Windows 10? Last I read Windows was still the primary customer base for Adobe. It would seem odd to not launch it on a platform that has embraced an ink first mentality at the OS level.
I have the new smudge tool and messaging thing on the right bar, but no text! Please help! This was what I was most excited for 😞
I have Fresco on windows 10 on my 2 in 1 Dell and had it updated to the latest one that just released, but there is no Export to Illustrator option as mentioned in the release. Any fix? Thanks
Similar to other Adobe apps, the MAX 2020 version of Fresco brings you the ability to collaborate with your stakeholders for your artwork. When comments are left by collaborators on a Fresco project file, the feedback can be viewed and responded to directly in the Fresco app which previously was being done on the Assets web version. Since these are cloud docs, all the updates will be reflected in real-time allowing artists and reviewers to communicate easily by directly adding comments to the project in Fresco. For detailed information, please see Commenting on Cloud docs.
Latest release is crashing immediately after launch as it loads the What's New screen. Using iPad Pro 10.5” 256GB with lots of free memory. iPad OS 14.0.1. Have restarted iPad. No success. Other Adobe apps (Photoshop, Illustrator) opening without issue. Thanks!
I'm on Windows 10 (on a Surface) and when I installed the app it set itself in spanish. I'm from a spanish speaking country so that may be the reason but I'm more comfortable using my programs in english and it's best for tutorials, so I wanna know how I can change the language since I'm not seeing the option anywhere...
With the MAX 2020 release of Fresco, you now get a whole new brush set available in the toolbar which allows for a smooth and controlled blending of colors and shading in the artwork. Smudge brushes (available in the Smudge tool) do not lay down color and instead uses shape and texture to blend and smudge colors on the canvas. The following information will help you quickly come to speed with using Smudge brushes: Available only on iPad, and Windows version of the Fresco app. All Pixel Brushes (other than ribbon brushes, sketching brushes, and marker brushes) and library brushes appear in the smudge brushes menu. Any brush added to the smudge brush menu will show up in the Pixel brush menu as well. The hide/show feature available in the Pixel brush menu does not sync with the smudge brushes; so you might see all the brushes appear in the smudge
Hi everyone. I can't install Fresco on my desktop. I would like to know what are the graphic cards compatible with Fresco. Mine is an Asus GTX 780 Poseidon. Here is a DxDiag. Thanks.
Hi, on the ipad, most drawing apps have a drag and drop feature allowing to import images by drag and dropping directly on canvas (when you have another app open side by side, ie dropbox or files, you can drag and drop any images. This is very convenient. any option to achieve this under fresco?
Every picture I paint in Fresco is instantly uploaded to the cloud, but I don't want that. Can I turn off the auto sync?
Hi! I love the iPad app so much and the ability to use my photoshop brushes, but when is the smudge tool coming? I can't work effectively without it, and i'm missing my smudge brushes from photoshop like crazy.
Hello, I'd love some help with making Fresco fit my laptop & drawing tablet screen! The app appears to cut off a section of the bottom and I am unable to scroll on most menus, such as the selection of brushes, meaning I can't access the majority of them. I've spent a lot of time looking for solutions and combing the app, but I'm guessing anything that controls the sizing and zoom requires scrolling of is located in the cut off bottom section? Otherwise, my laptop & graphics are great and the brushes work well. Super dissapointed that I couldn't use it during Adobe MAX today... Please help!(See pictures of cut off section and lack of scrolling on menus)
Here is some exciting news especially for our Draw and Sketch users who had been requesting the availability of Fresco on iPhone. You heard it right, you can download Fresco on iPhone and explore the exciting features. To know about the device specifications, please see the system requirements. Check this link to know how you can migrate all your artwork to Fresco. With the availability of Fresco on iPhone, here are the advantages: Switch into the Dark Mode interface for the app. You can slide the layer stack out of your way by simply tapping on the parallel bar that is right below the layer stack which will minimize the layer stack and show the active layer preview. The full-screen mode can be activated by the option on the top right. App settings can be accessed by tapping on your avatar. All your docu
