How do we change the hotkeys in Lightroom?  The current W and Shift W are backwards, Masks, at least in my experience over the past 7 years using Lightroom, are 99.999999999999999999% used more than using the white balance tool, which gives the wrong color most the time anyways.  In 7 years using lightroom daily, I think I’ve used that white balance selected maybe once or twice.  But every single photo I need to use the masks and when simply pushing one button for the other tabs but requiring to hover my pinky over the shift and remember to hold shift before pushing W to get to the masks is insanely annoying.  So we need options to either change it ourselves, or the developers need to swap this.  I can’t imagine most other photographers or editors are constantly using the white balance dropper tool thing every single photo when they copy paste the settings and VERY rarely is it off slightly on the rest of the photos in that set, but masks on the other hand are almost always off and nee

If I have an ordinary collection with a custom order and I add photos to it, they appear at the end, as I would expect. I can immediately drag the photos to the desired position in the custom order.But if I have a published collection with a custom order and I add photos to it, they appear in a separate section, New Photos to Publish. There is no way I can immediately drag them to the desired position in the custom order. I must first republish the collection, which correctly places the new photos at the end. Then I can drag them to the desired position in the custom order, where they will stay the next time I republish.Likewise, if I modify a photo, it jumps to the Modified Photos to Republish section. Next time I republish, it will be restored to the correct position in the custom order. However, during the remainder of the editing session (prior to republishing), it is not in correct sequence but is off in a separate section, so I can't do things such as advance to the next photo in

In the next version of Lightroom could they implement a better spellcheck? The spellcheck currently in Lightroom3 does not work as well as spellcheck seen in Photo Mechanic or the basic spellcheck used on a Mac.Also could they make the caption box larger or the ability to increase the size. The current caption box is to small and makes it hard to see what is being typed?In a nut shell could they make the next Lightroom more like Photo Mechanic in terms of captioning and adding metadata ?

Several of my Clients are trying to move their Smart Collections Workflow from Lightroom Classic to Adobe Bridge. I frequently create colections that I sync publicly and I enjoy that feature much.  However, if I need to watermark images in a collection before I sync them publicly, that capability is not offered in Adobe Lightroom Classic.  I must first watermark and export the entire collection to a folder on my desktop.  Then I have to re-import that watermarked collection back into Lightroom and from that batch, I can create a publicly synced, watermarked collection.  Adobe, if you're listening, PLEASE GIVE US THE ABILITY TO WATERMARK PUBLICLY SYNCED COLLECTIONS DIRECTLY OUT OF LIGHTROOM CLASSIC.

As a photographer, I work across multiple genres—including composites, focus-stacking, timelapses, and multi-camera shoots. The single biggest flaw with Lightroom's current sorting system is that when I return to an old set of images months down the road, it is impossible to remember why I originally applied specific labels or stars.Currently, if I change the text names in a Color Label Set to fit a new project, it breaks the labeling on all my past work, turning them into "Unknown Labels." I am trapped between breaking past organization or being forced to use an overly rigid system where I can't remember what my own color codes mean.What I am requesting:Permanent, Per-Image Label Metadata: When I name a label, that text name should be permanently stamped into that specific image's metadata. Lightroom Classic already displays the pixel dimensions of an image, for example 8256 × 5504. Please also automatically display the corresponding total megapixel count beside those dimensions.For example:8256 × 5504 — 45.4 MPMore importantly, the megapixel count should update automatically after an image is cropped so the photographer can immediately see how much resolution remains.This would be particularly useful for photographers evaluating cropped images for large-format printing. Currently, we have to calculate the remaining megapixels ourselves even though Lightroom already has all the information required to make this calculation.It is a small addition that would make evaluating image resolution and print potential much faster and easier.

Please add an option in Lightroom Classic's Crop tool to display the physical dimensions of the current crop in inches or centimeters, calculated at a user-selectable print resolution such as 300, 240, or 200 PPI.Ideally, while cropping, Lightroom could display information such as:7200 × 4800 px | 34.6 MP | 30 × 20 inches @ 240 PPIAs the photographer moves the crop boundaries, these values should update live.An optional inch/cm ruler around the crop area would also be extremely useful.This would allow photographers preparing images for fine-art and large-format printing to immediately understand the effect of a crop on the final printable dimensions without leaving the Crop tool or manually calculating pixels, megapixels, and print size.Lightroom already has the pixel information necessary to perform these calculations. Lately Instagram is flagging my photos as requiring an AI label.  I never use generative AI, and almost exclusively use linear gradients and brushes...basically the same tools that have been available since forever.  I have started to use the “Sky” tool, and the “Object” tool, since this has helped better define mask borders, but I guess this is causing the AI flag problem?  It would be useful to have a global preference to disable AI-based tools, and perhaps that information could even be included in the metadata.

I spend hours and hours keywording, creating a very large index from every Vehicle Museum, Car Show, Car Race meeting etc. To save a lot of duplicated processing the first thing I do is to create a keyword of the number plate - vehicle tags. This immediately stops me creating a keyword all the keywords for vehicle already in the database.This vehicle is one that I have seen more than once.In both 2009 and 2025. Two different Show keywords on the one photo.If Lightroom simply gave me the option to use the keyword that I am trying to create as I already have the plate keyword in the database it would save me a lot of time getting through the plethora of keywords to find the existing keyworded photo. I simply add the new venue keyword to the older photo and then delete the new photo - saving processing, storage etc etc.It takes a lot of time to find the existing keyword, to then tag the new photo with it, open both photos to check if it is the same vehicle, then add the new show/event Key

In summer there is a lot of small insects in the air, which results in lots of small black dots in the sky.Unfortunately Dust removal cannot detect it as a dust, so I have to remove them one by one with Remove tool, which is not comfortable.It would be nice to improve this.Or is there any trick I'm missing?

Lightroom Classic 11.2 on MacOS Catalina 10.15.7.   In the batch file renaming feature accessed through the hamburger icon to the right of the File Name field in the Library module, I often need to search and replace particular text. I don't see a way to, for example, replace "Jan1969-" with "1969-01-", which I wanted to do this week because I had improved my file naming system and wanted to update my old files' names.   Even better would be to support entering an arbitrarily long list of replacements to make in one pass, with a "+" or "Add" button to add more "From" and "To", or "Old" and "New", boxes.  For example,   Old: Jan1969 New: 1969-01 Old: Feb1969 New: 1969-02 Old: Mar1969 New: 1969-03   A further enhancement to that feature would be to give either the whole list or each entry a pulldown like in the Library module Text Filter, specifying Contains, Starts With, or Ends With.   I could actually benefit from a full-blown regular expression matcher,

Sliders for the new mask feather/edge seem quite sensitive.  Keyboard shortcuts would allow nudging the sliders a step at a time?

The Book Module currently only supports “Standard Layflat” which is Blurbs “Mohawk proPhoto Pearl”.   I want to do a book with “Mohawk Superfine Eggshell” which is a matte paper.   I know I could order a book with the Pearl and then reorder it with matte but that’s several hundred dollars I don’t need to spend.  The workaround isn’t the easiest way either.   Could you just add the paper type to the list? 

Feather Masks - ability to universally feather a mask selection in LR like photoshop. With a feather slider. The AI selctions are great but often need to be feathered this would speed up workflow greatly. 

In Lightroom Masking add the Parametric Tone Curve to the already existing Point Tone Curve. This already exists in the Main the Tone Curve Panel. The Parametric Tone Curve is often more intuitive and effective than the point curve.

Collection synching / Lightroom Mobile is a great addition to Lightroom 5.4. Please extend this functionality to Smart Collections as well.

It would be great to be able to filter for sync'ed images. Two reasons: - I often want to make sure I have sync'ed the best image(s) and I would like to compare them to non-sync'ed similar iamges - I want to go through my folders and delete images that I no longer need, or should not have kept in the first place, and I want to make sure I do not delete sync'ed images.   There is a cumbersom way to do it but to be somewhat efficient it needs an available unused label. OK, I'm not sure I can describe this good. But sometimes LR is slow when you start a few tasks, like exporting images to jpgs, web galleries, etc, that you wish that those could be done at a time when you're not by your computer (say at a coffee break, lunch or even leaving the office for the day). It would be cool with a feature where you could queue several tasks, that can be done when the computer is having "down time" or when you tell it to "start processing task queue" or similar. Or a possibility for third party vendors to script something like this (or even yourself if you're fairly good as scripting).

Lightroom Classic 12.4 / Camera Raw 15.4Just imported a dozen Fuji X-T5 raw files. White balance and tint value is slightly different for all of them as they were shot in 'Auto WB' on the camera.   Wanted to adjust the tint value on all images but retain their existing WB value.   Selected all, made sure Auto Sync was on in Develop mode, and moved the Tint value to 5.    Expected result: all selected images should now have a Tint value of 5, while retaining their original WB value.   Actual result: the WB and the Tint value for the main image was applied to all selected images, even though I had not adjusted WB at all.Did an Undo, went through all images to confirm they all had different WB and tint values. Selected a different image. Did a Select All, Auto Sync on. This time I set the WB value for my main image.   Expected result: all selected images should now have the same WB as the main image, but their Tint values should be unchanged.   Actual re
