@Nancy OShea Thanks for stepping in here.   Unfortunately I see it as an Adobe problem. They provide a service where I host & redirect my website/URL. My website is blocked for [insert reason here] when anyone tries to see it when using a VPN.   I'm not worried that I can't see it when i use a VPN. I'm worried that ANYONE using a VPN can't see it (which they can't). ANYONE being clients, customers, future clients, potential clients, people who just want to look at my website. Millions of potential users. Who I cannot preadvise to use a trusted network to look at my website...   Imagine having to caveat everytime I put my url anywhere that "To see this website you must use a trusted, secure network whenever possible. Or switch to a less problematic VPN." Should I put that on my business card?   This is a problem with a service that adobe provides. Therefore its not a VPN problem. Guess thats a "no" to the solution?   Also seeing 403's on all my portfolio sites with a different VPN. Needs to be fixed. Also having similar problem with an Nvidia Geforece 5070ti + 330W PSU on a laptop. After Effects or Media Encoder doing any render with GPU or Multiframe rendering activated will crash WINDOWS. The whole machine becomes unresponsive, can't even force shutdown.  ... View more

@Stan JonesThanks. But recognising ize as correct is still incorrect in British English. Recognise is always with S and never Z. Sadly its not just recognise, but anything that ends in -ise. So the workaround is really just manually checking for things that aren't unerlined as incorrect by reading the entire text. There are no search, find & replace features, so actually the best thing would be to leave adobe, use another program to spell check. ... View more

System Info: Motherboard : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @2.8Ghz OS build version: Windows 10 (latest updates) System ram: 31.86 GB RAM GPU board: GeForce GTX 1050 Display Driver Version: 387.92 It's a Dell XPS15 (3 months old) Repro Steps:  1. Open Adobe Illustrator (last update before CC2018) 2. Open a file (or make new one and draw any vector shape) 3. Pres Ctl+Y to change to outline mode. Results: Can see in the File Tab that it changes from "RGB/GPU Preview" to  "RGB/Outline". Can see in the Layers Panel the Eye icon switches to Outline mode. File view fails to switch to Outline mode (continues to look the same as GPU Preview). Hi Kevin Thanks for getting back to me. I was asking if there was a way to do this without transcoding to another format. If I transcode it to a different format it would be a totally new & different file and obviously, that would work. There are a lot of avi files, so its a lot of work to convert and reimport every file making sure they're all correct. Also worth noting is that the computer in my office is set up almost identical to my home computer and the avi files work fine there. Be nice to get a solution. Sorry you missed my poor attempt at humour. My goal was simply to let adobe know that it wasn't a standalone problem on one machine and that it was affecting other users. I really did appreciate your solution as I much prefer the legacy new document (its so much quicker to open and you can instantly see all the advanced settings).
