Photoshop Elements

Unfortunately, PSE does not have a way for us to lock in our settings. It seems like when I am on deadline, something annoying always happens. This time it is the Photo Bin ... the button to open it is gone. Originally everything was gone .. I guess it went to a full screen mode for some reason. I certainly did not intentionally make the change.After watching YouTube videos and researching it, I was able to get everything back except the Photo Bin. Can I just say that there needs to be a way to lock in our settings. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to use PSE 18.I am on a deadline and helpless. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Does Adobe Photoshop Elements 2023 import "live" pictures take from an iphone? 

Dear Sir or Madam,I am new to this forum and this question may have already been asked.If so i apologize for being repedative.I paid $150 for the bundle of the new Photoshop elements and premeier.The major problem is that there isnt a user manual.There is an online guide (of sorts) but it is not particularly useful to me.I would like, and need a pdf downloadable manual for the software.If it is not available can someone please give a timeline as to when Adobe will create the manual for download?That is of course if anyone knows, I know I sure dont. $150 is expensive for an old man on a fixed income and trying to follow the online guide and use the product is difficult for me and most info I need isnt really covered well or at all in the online guide. Anyway I hope Adobe will reconsider and create a decent downloadable pdf manual for this expensive software. Kindest regards,Dennie

Hello Gals and Guys - I just got Photoshop and Premiere Elements 2021 for my Mac.  I was wonder if I can safely remove the cloud and organizer applications as I won't use them?  Thanks for any help.

Facetiles show up in Organizer which adds to my count

I plan to replace my Win 10 pc with a Mac Mini.Can some provide step by step instructions explaining how to move my current catalog to the Mac Mini? I have looked these instructions and find them confusing (almost incoherent)  Move Elements Organizer catalog.I would like instructions that only explain moving a PSE 2019 catalog from Win PC to Mac OS and as detailed as possible. Thank you. 

I have an old old version of Photoshop Elements, it's version 7.  I recently had to reinstall windows so I downloaded the installer from my Adobe account and installed it.  But when I tried entering the serial number (copied directly from my adobe account), it says the number was invalid.  I've installed this version this way several times before without any issues, so I don't know what is different this time.  I  tried to connect to an agent through chat for an hour and nothing.  So what is going on here?  Before anybody mentions, it is a completly valid version, not purchased on ebay or amazon.  It came with my Wacom tablet.

Hi Guys,   Is there anybody here that can tell me, why my copy of Photoshop Elements 2020 keeps freezing? I have had 2020 for a while and it has always done the same thing.   I thought it was my crap computer, so I didn't worry about it too much. I have just built a machine that would make most gamers cry! And guess what, the stinking 2020 still freezes for about 5 or 6 mins. At a time   Needless to say, I’m not happy!! Need some advise from you guys. It’s not much use asking Adobe (If one could even contact them) because they don’t care about after sales service!!  So, any help would be appreciated!   Thanks Guys.  

MacOS Big Sur 11.6Mac Mini (M1, 2020)Adobe Elements Organizer 2022 I select an image in the Organizer and open it in the PSE Editor. I edit the file. I save as.The file name to be saved is not automatically apended with '-edited 1' as it would have been in previous versions of PSE, but appears as the original file name. If I try to save, I will get 'File already exists. Do you want to replace it?' which I don't, and so I manually change the filename. I can now save, and I check 'Include in Elements Organizer' and 'Save in version set with original'. The thumbnail for this new file now appears in the Organizer. It is marked in the top right corner with a small icon indicating version set (I assume), but the original file is not visible. If I search for this original file by filename, it can't be found. If I right click on the visible thumbnail and open the context menu, the 'Version set' choice is greyed out. If I select the new thumbnail and choose Edit> Version Set all th

This is a brand new issue for me. I installed a software upgrade for my Mac and now my albums are no longer showing and my photos seem like they are frozen. I can't scroll through them and my cursor arrows won't work.  This is only in photos

I have moved from using Photoshop Elements over the years to Photoshop.  2 questions to help me get started.  #1 How do I get the many pics on my hard drive that can be seen by Elements so they can be seen by newly installed Ps?  When I installed LrC, the catalogue automatically updated from Lr 6.14 on my PC so I have access to all the pics I had in Lr 6.14.  That didn't happen when I installed Ps.  #2  Elements has two parts, Organizer and Editor.  Does that exist in Ps.  So far I can see Editor when I open Ps.

I have backups from PSE12.  I some how thought I could just open an .xmp file by clicking on it. Nope. Tried to open it in Infranwiew...nope. But some, not all files got the red Infranview badge on the left end. And to my surprise it changed files on all my backups, all disks. How do I get the backups back to normal?   Want all files to have the :correct" associations.   Sorry it this is confusing, but .... so am I.   [Mod: Moved to the Photoshop Elements forum]  

How to make a polygon (other than a rectangle) with no fill, just a border?

Hello all.  I am having a problem creating a slide show using Elements 14.  I imported about 250 pictures into Elements Organizer.  When creating a slide show from Organizer, about 20 percent of the pictures have been cropped where heads are cut off, etc.  The pictures all display fine outside of Organizer's slide show.  I searched the web and the Adobe forums but have not found an answer.  I resized the pictures in Elements' Photo Editor, but that made no impact when the resized pics were brought into the slide show.I'm guessing there is a simple solution, but as a new user to this software, I am just not finding it.   Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

I have had PSE 2023 since it came out and run it on a year old Mac. I use PSE for digital scrapbooking and have over 50,000 items tagged in the organizer. In the last few months I have had hundreds and hundreds of files 'missing'. Reconnect All Files doesn't get them and I can go in and individually reconnect them and have found they are in the Cloud. All my items are not in the Cloud, however. I don't want to nor do I have the time to manually reconnect all these files. Has anyone had this experience or does anyone know what to do about it? Adobe says call Apple, Apple says call Adobe.

I need to import pictures from my phone into PSE13. Is there a way in PSE in which to specify "from - to" date range when importing? (Or an app where one can do this) From a phone with 5000+ pictures it will extremely time-consuming to have to select each individual picture. In advance thanks from a newbie for any help. Noobie question: I created a layer composed of an unfilled ellipse (i.e. a ring). How do I remove the right half of the ring so that the end result resembles the letter C?
