Photoshop Elements

I have several sets of images in a single catalogue split across various locations - C; drive, 😧 drive and limited online storage.  I would like to consolidate all my images onto my large D drive without causing problems in organiser?  I running PSE 2023 on Win 10 and have 50K images in one catalogue.  I was wondering if i cut and paste the images from their various locations into my photos folder in D; would this break the links within organiser?  Is there another way which would work that doesn't confuse organiser? Many thanks, Pete

Hello! I just installed photoshop elements 11 and it loaded up SUPER tiny and I CANNOT figure out how to fix it. I went onto support and they sent me here. I *could* use it but its hard to be precise when all the sliders and miniscule.

Elements kept blue-screening, so I followed advice to update my AMD and INTEL drivers. The blue screen issue has been resolved, but now I can no longer rotate HEIC images. Any ideas?

I would like to do a few instructional videos for YouTube on using Photoshop, to be edited in Apple iMovie. It occurred to me that Apple has a handy screen recording feature built into macOS. I can use that to record the screen while I explain what I'm doing.   However, I fear the interface elements of Photoshop, such as the toolbox, will be too tiny in the video when my 27 inch screen is shrunk down to YouTube size, especially if it's viewed on a phone.   So my idea was to change spaces in macOS and switch to a lower resolution. That would make the interface elements appear bigger, but I don't see a way to do that in Catalina. Am I on the right track here or is there a better way to do this?

I recently purchased Adobe Elements 23 in order to obtain an upgraded version of Adobe camera raw. I specifically wanted this in order to use profiles (xmp) that I had purchased from several companies. The Adobe camera raw is version 14. It actually has three dots near the profiles that come with the program, and when you press on it it says "import profiles and presets" . It says that the profile should be zip files. I spent a whole day trying to get this to work but to no avail. The files don't import and nothing shows up.  This is very frustrating because Adobe camera raw is for use with raw files which suggests that the user is quite advanced at photography and editing. However, a large number of editing tools are absent from the Adobe camera raw that comes with Photoshop elements. This is insulting to the user and I don't understand why they would do that. Why does the program offer a tool that doesn't function is even worse.  I know I'm not the only person who

I opened my Photoshop Elements 8 and my catalog is completely empty. I normally have over 23,000 photos in it . Why does it say my catalog is empty?

When I was first taught to use Levels, I was told to use the black and white point sliders to fix my image, but to leave the midtones slider alone. Is this a valid was to use Levels?? Or am I missing something by not using the midtones slider??

trying to add a font , reples say put in windows fonts, and PE will pic it up, but i cant find any fonts folder in my W10 , I see the font in my downlaods , also in Prefrences I see only a font size option  ? thanks Nils.

I am sorry to learn that after many attempts these two products do not work together.  Most photos after being "photoshopped" revert to the original.  Too bad Adobe can not make this product work with photos.

Running Win 10 64-bit w/most recent update, my WebP plug-in for Photoshop Elements 2021 is now not working. I was using WebPShop_0_3_3_Win_x64.8bi (in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2021\Plug-Ins), have also tried updating that to WebPShop_0_4_3_Win_x64.8bi. Restarted PSE Editor, neither worked. Restarted computer after updating the plug-in, still not working. WebP plug in does not show in /Help/About Plug-in in PSE, doesn't show as loading when starting up PSE.  Thanks for ideas here, frustrating.

Greetings.  I'd like not to have Organizer on my computer, but I see it is part and parcel of Elements. (I have 11.)  Therefore I'd like to disable it and be sure it never imports a picture from my hard drive or an SD card, and never retains a copy or even thumbnail of anything I scan or work on in Elements.It may be a fine picture organizer, but I can do it myself.  Much more particularly, I want to control where the scanned documents are and who sees them.  I intensely dislike the modern trend for autonomous programs and bots to gather up information they are not invited to.Can I tell it not to acquire anything I do not put there manually?  (Which I will never intentionally do.)Second thing---when I try to open it and see if it in fact is full of every picture on my computer, two things happen.  First it shows a waiting symbol and says the catalogue is being built.  Second, there's a popup window saying, "An app on your PC needs DirectPlay" and invi

I am trying to swap the eyes out on the following picture, for eyes that are a little more open.  I keep getting the following message: "No faces found in the slected photo". The face is pretty prominent and level. What is the problem?

When I import from the scanner, the image appears normal on the screen. When I try to print it, it cuts off each end and only prints the middle third of the image.  Even though I resize it smaller, it still only prints the center third only.

Hallo ich nutze seit 2013 Photoshop Elements 12. Ich habe das Produkt 2013 natürlich registriert und seit dem auf verschiednen PC benutzt. Nun plötzlich forderte mich Elements Anfang des Jahres auf, das Produkt anzumelden. Verwundert tat ich dies ... oder besser, ich versuchte es. Denn natürlich ist das Produkt bereits angemeldet/registiert. Die Registrierung ist korrekt wie mir der freundliche aber wenig hilfreiche Support mitteilte. Da man bei Adobe nicht weiter wusste, bekam ich einen komplett sinnfreien Link auf eine Seite mit möglichen "Lösungen". Sehr schön - dummerweise war dort aber gar nicht mein Problem aufgeführt und somit auch keine Lösung zu finden. Ich habe das Photoshop bereits deinstalliert und mittels Download von der Adobe-Seite wieder neu Installiert. Auch die Registrierung habe ich mit der korrekten Seriennummer vorgenommen. Ich möchte Bildtitel, die ich in Photoshop Elements 13 erstellt habe, in Photoshop Elements 2023 importieren, finde aber keine Unterstützung dazu, wie auch die ganze Support-Geschichte bei Adobe extrem kompliziert aufgebaut ist.

I am sure other people must have this problem, but I cannot find any related posts   If I open and edit an image in Photoshop Elements and save the file as a TIFF, the saved file does not appear as expected in finder or on the desktop correctly whenever the edit contains a layer mask. The file displays only the masked element. The rest of the image is white. It makes no difference if the image is flattened or not. The image appears just fine when opened in photoshop but the image cannot be sent to another person or printed. Is this a confirmed bug, or is there some setting I have not correctly configured or some other issue?

Hi all,I have Photoshop Elements 13, with nearly 47,000 photos, which I use regularly; mainly the Organizer (I had versions 4 & 8 previously too).I'm currently working with Windows 8.1 but due to it no longer being supported I was thinking of upgrading Windows to version 10 or 11. From what I've just read, Elements 13 is not supported by Windows 10 or 11, & the 2023 version is not compatible with Windows 8.1, so you can see my conundrum.Therefore, in your opinion, what is the best way to get my Photoshop Elements 13 data running in Windows 8.1 onto probably a new laptop running Windows 11 with Photoshop Elements 2023 installed? Is it simply just a case of backing up my existing PSE13 Catalog to an external hard drive & loading it into PSE2023? Any compatibility issues there?Thanks in advance,Mwnci bach.

The simple task: select a photo and delete it.Organizer response: Busy analyzing selected media. Try again some time later.This was repeated several times.Media Analysis options are all turned off because I don't want or need Elements to Smart Tag, Auto Curate, or Auto Create anything for me. What the hell is Adobe doing tieing up MY files on MY PC??I restarted the Organizer several times. It finally let go after I turned off my PC and restarted.Again, what sort of analysis does Elements need to run on a picture that I've decide to discard?

Hi, I have a registered copy of Photoshop elements 9. I have not installed this on my new win 11 pc but would like to install the free trial of elements 2023, with a view to purchasing. Would I be eligible for the upgrade price? thanks

Whenever I print anything (I make greeting cards) it always tells me that at the size I want it will be printed at less than 300dpi. The size is usually A4.

I am wanting to install Photoshop Elements 2023 and looking to understand, if the Elements organiser recognises photos that have been backed up on an external hard drive, their tags and albums etc...To better explain, I have some 7000 photographs on my 'C' drive backed up to external hard drives, 1 & 2. My understanding would be that the photographs would be 'Imported' from the 'C' drive folders, in order to be tagged, with Places and People added etc...If for some reason the photographs on the 'C' drive become corrupted and I need to refer to copies on the external hard drives, does Photoshop Elements automatically recognise those files or would I need to go through the import, tagging procees again. Thank you in anticipation of any information.Marcus
