Photoshop Elements

Hallo Gemeinde,die Erklärungen in der Hilfe führen zu keinem Ergebnis. Kann mir jemand helfen?Habe einen iMac und komme nicht weiter. Bei früheren Versionen war das kein Problem. Vielen Dank im Voraus.    

I have vers 4.1 of Lr and the latest Photoshop Elements. When trying to Edit my Lr photo in Elements and attempting to do so by the "Edit In Photoshop" button, I get an error message saying either Photoshop not found or edit in Photoshop failed. How do I resolve this?Researching the problem on the web, one is told to open Preferences and go to ExternalEditing. This dialogue does not appear in 4.1Thanks in anticipation for your help.

FR works fine in some cases, seems asleep in others. Usually this happens between folders (pix in some folders have FR, pix from some other folders do not), but sometimes *within folders (some pix have FR, some do not). I am speaking here of photos of similar clarity. I would not expect it to recognize some of the fuzzier photos I have. Second question, in backing up my catalogue, as a precaution, I have backups done at different times (1, 2, 3, 4). I thought if one went bad at least I would have an alternative. Reading some of the discussion around FR, this might not have been wise? If so, how would I fix this?

I was a good user, and paid for an official version of Adobe Elements 2018.  I used it for like a year, and then all of a sudden Adobe wont update it anymore, and it wont even open up on my Mac. Only option, buy a whole new version. I DO NOT NEED A NEW VERSION!!!! I have the same computer, I paid full price for this software! , but Adobe is expecting me to buy photoshop every year?  Sigh, this is sneaky and shady.   If they told me when i purchased they were going to phase it out in a year, would never have bought.  I just got tricked and ripped off. Sigh. How can I make my Adobe Elements 2018 work on my Big Sur macbook pro (2013 model) ?  

Just installed PSE 2021.  The interface/background color is white.  don't like. Want gray.  Search and searched. Can not find answer. 

Guten Tag,seit Anfang des Jahres benütze ich Adobe Photoshop-Elements 2021 auf Windows 10 und es funktionierte meist ordentlich.Jetzt taucht ein Update auf und sofort nach der Installation stürzt das Programm ab. Habe mehrmals Photoshop komplett gelöscht und wieder installiert, immer dasselbe Problem. Wenn ich im Programm das Feld Installation nach dem Beenden anklicke, kann ich arbeiten. Anschließend tauchen dann die nervigen Meldungen auf und ich muss das Download beim Schließen sofort beenden, sonst geht es wieder von vorne los.Möchte nichts anderes, als dass dieser Dounloadbefehl und dieses Update 20211 wieder verschwindet, zumindest bei mir verursacht es nur Probleme, sehe aktuell keine Vorteile.Eventuell hat jemand einen Tipp.Vielen Dank!Good day,since the beginning of the year I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 on Windows 10 and it mostly worked properly.Now an update appears and immediately after installation the program crashes. I've just purchased and installed Photoshop Elements 2021. I opened Organiser and it imported all the photos on my Mac into a catalogue and went through all the faces pretty quickly.However when I go to search smart tags it says there are no smart tags on any of my photos.How can I fix this?

So, I recently started using photoshop elements, and the thing keeps crashing once i open a new layer or try to draw for a while. Adobe did not give me a reason, so how should i fix this?

Can Kelvin Design brushes be used with Elements 2020?

I have been using the Elements organizer for many years, from back when I just used one camera and no phones and it was simple then to just upload them and tag them.  It is starting to seem like a hassle now because the phones put them in Google Photos and tags them pretty well automatically and they are easy to look up on my phone.  The problem is, I only have my photos that way and not the ones my wife took or the ones from my camera.   I also still want to keep a hard copy of all the photos from all devices on the computer anyways.  Is the best way still just to occasionally upload everything from the phones and then tag them in Organizer?  Is there a more automated way, where the Google Photos data can transfer over?  And then finally, what is the best way to access your entire library in the organizer on your phone?  I just want to get back to being more organized like when it was simple with just the one camera!

I tried to use healing tool and it didn't work so I tried to use the stamp tool and it didn't work either. How do I remove the dark spot over the right head? 

I have Elements 2019 on my PC.  I regularly save the photos on my PC and restore them on my wife, Theresa's, PC, so the photos are on both PCs.  Theresa's PC doesn't have Elements on it - she uses Microsoft's Photos to view the photos, but can't see the same structure or tags that I can see using Elements 2019.If we buy Elements 2021 and install it on Theresa's PC, is there an easy mechanism for me to save the structure from Elements 2019 and restore it on a PC that has Elements 2021 on it, so that Theresa can see the same structure, tags, etc. that I have maintained on my PC?

As the subject line says, PSE -- when it is not freezing up -- selectively declines to import some MOV or HEIC files (*most* of them seem fine). I don't suppose there is a fix for this that works? (Tried the Adobe Help suggestion of downloading stuff from Microsoft and deleting cache files but that didn't work)

I have 2021 at home (Mac) and 2108 at work (PC) and split my time working at the two locations. It never fails that when I create a PSD for a livestream slide opener at either worksite, the other won't have the same font. Is there a quick way to compare what fonts each version has?

I am a beginner user of Elements, version 8 (had a old copy laying around).  I recently purchase a stylus pad (xp-pen G640).  When I try to draw a line on either the base layer photo or a new layer, the line is drawn and then it disappears.  This now occures with both the stylus pad and the mouse also connected.  This did not occur prior to attaching the stylus/pad.

Hi,I have had Elements 16 for over a year and have applied the latest updates.  Suddenly, when I click the text tool, Elements freezes indefinitely.  I have to Ctrl-Alt-Del to task manager and kill it.  Any ideas why the text tool is now causing this?  Other tools tried do not. Thanks for any help,Glen

Ich weiss nicht, aber nach verschiedenen Updates (oder ähnliches) verstehe ich verschiedene Handlungen  an meiner Version PSE 2021 nicht mehr. Ich möchte die ursprüngliche Version zurück, wie kann ich diese wieder herstellen?Danke - MFG - Ferny

Hello, I just bought Photoshop Element 2021 online, downloaded the installer after purchase and tried to install it but at the end of the installation I get these System Error messages (see attached screenshots). I tried to uninstal, restart and re-install but nothing. Still these system error messages.  What should I do? PS. I have a DELL XPS 17 laptop, i7 intel 10th gen processor with Windows 10 PRO. Thank you Filippo

I have watched a video on creating a Chrome effect with photoshop but the problem I'm having is that in the menu button selections there is NO 'Convert into Smart object option'. I'm using Photoshop 2019 CSGN. I can't find the command in any of the menus. ??? to do.

Some of my photos have suddenly gone missing in Organizer (replaced by a gray icon of a ripped sheet of paper). Consequently they cannot be edited or further managed, even though the link is intact and the source file has not moved. Is there a fix for this?

When opening the Organiser in Elements 2021 the mouse disappears. There is no way to get it back.

Hallo . . . .ich arbeite seit Jahren mit PS Elements 10 und war bis jetzt sehr zufrieden. Aber seit kuzem haben alle Fotos die ich lade einen starken Blau - Cyan -Stich. Die Fotos sind in allen anderen Bild-Programmen i.O.  Die Palette Schlagschatten hat den gleichen starken Farbstich, war früher immer grau. Der Adobe - Support kan mir nicht helfen, Software ist zu alt ! Ich hoffe es ist jemand unter euch der mir helfen kann. 

Hello, Is there a way to have Organizer 2021 identify automatically places attached to photos ? Like Google photo or Windows photo ? Many thanks for your help, Patrick
