I purchased Photoshop Elements 9 and Premiere Elements 9 about ten years ago, installed from DVD's onto my Mac and they have been there ever since.  I have now purchased a new Mac with Apple silicon chip, restored a backup from the previous Mac and Elements 9 will not run as it is apparently a 32 bit program. Is there any way to download a 64 bit versionw of Photoshop Elements 9 and Premier Elements 9, or is it possible to re-install from the DVD's as 64 bit versions?  I don't see anything on the box to indicate if it is 32 bit only or if the DVD's also contain 64 bit versions. From what I can tell, only the current and previous (2021 and 2020) versions are available for download.

Hi all. In Elements 2019 Editor I could open Process Multiple Files and move files from one folder to another whilst at the same time adding a watermark. Now I have PsE 2021 but this does not work. The Process Multiple Files selection is greyed out and I can't find a way to make it alive. Does anybody know how.

Why do I receive the following alert when printing a Neato DVD Label Template, even though my pasted image and text exceed the 220 dpi?"The following images will be rendered at less than 220 dpi at the requested print size"

‌Photoshop elements 14 doesn't allow me to use the clone tool because there is no source point defined. How do I define a source point?

I recently purchased a new computer (WIndows 10) and installed Elements 2021.  I had Elements 13.1 imstalled on my old computer (Windows 7).  How BEST to transfer the content in Version 13.1 to the new 2021  version [without loosing all the cataogues, albums, people etc]?  Maintaining continuity between versions was why I purchased the 2021 version.

I have a jpg of a custom made piece of stained glass. I want to change the color of selected sections to  custom colors I create. I have tried creating a custom solid color layer and applying and painting onto a selected area using the clone tool. This is very awkward and time-consuming using a mouse as a paintbrush. I would like to be able to save my custom color as a swatch and apply that color to an area I select using the Quick Selection tool. I would also like to be able to select the opacity of the color layer so that some underlying texture shows. I am using PSE13. I have attached before and after photos of the artwork.

I can edit a jpg file and save with no trouble. When I try to open a raw file it brings up raw screen, if I do anything on that screen it freezes and I cannot close photoshop elements 15 without restarting the computer. Just thought I would share my recent experience. I have been using PsE in various releases since 2005 but more intensly since 2016. In 2018 I was very upset when the maps in my 6 months old program stopped working. Adobe new this would happen but still sold the program. Pay for upgrade was the only solution which I did. I then found a bug in the program which experts on this forum confirmed was real. No fix from Adobe. In Nov 2020 PE21 came out and the bug is fixed so I bought it. After 2 weeks it would not load so I thought maybe it's time to stop this, get a refund and switch to the subscription program Lightroom Classic. After all, even Adobe say 'Take the step up to Lightroom' so it must be better?So I dowloaded it on 7 day trial and imported my catalog of 12,116 photos. Not a good experience. I found organising not so easy and all my current PsE system of Events, Places and Faces was not easily usable. Moreover when I tried to create a slideshow or photo collage it was really hard

I have been using PSE 14.0 & Premier el 14.0 for several years, with windows 10, and have had no problems, now suddenly PSE 14.0 won't open.  Premier 14.0 will open, it's just Photoshope elements 14.0 that won't load.   When I trouble shoot , it says Adobe Photoshop Elements 14.0 is incompatible.    But why all of a sudden. Please help, I need to access my many photos.   Pat

HiMy Photoshop 13 has suddenly stopped working.  It won't even open.  I am running Catalina 10.15.7 on a MacBook Pro.  I don't know where to go or what to do.  Shoud I re-install?  I need a link for what to do, please.  Thanks,Chickie

I am really not satisfied with the photoshop elements 2021. For the amount of money spent I would  expect something better.

Once again the clone stamp does not work. Seems everytime I go to Elements to use it it won't work. When will there be a fix for this?

Several questions regarding upgrades:1.  Not being that interested in all the fluffy artsy gizmos, what am I really gaining in Elements 2021 that I don't have in my copy of Elements 9 (2015)? E.g. speed differences?  Finer gradients of light/contrast/highlight-shadow/saturation/color settings? Better, more intuitive user interface?2. Any High Dynamic Range (HDR) capability or workarounds?3. What really useful features are not available in Elements 2021 that I already have in Lightroom 5.7.1 (2018?)?4. Does the RAW utility work with the newish Nikon Coolpix P950 camera?  Sometimes it takes an extra few months for software to catch up to new camera model's compatibility. 

When I upgraded to Photoshop Elements 2020, all of my keyword tags disappeared.  I spent a considerable amount of time trying to find them with no luck.  I resorted to reimporting all the photos into a new catalog (luckily, I save the metadata to the files) and now see the tage, but they're all under Imported Keyword Tags.  Can't see any way to change the category from Keywords to People, Places and Events.  I read in another post that that's not possible - WHY?  I also tried to remove some erroneous tags, but there's no longer any way to do bulk tag deletions - WHY?  Any ideas out there?  TIA

Is the 2021 version of the Organizer designed to upload contacts from Gmail or Yahoo to the "Contact Book?"  From what I've noticed, the file type suffixes are not compatible between the Contact Book and Gmail or Yahoo, so uploads via the vCard (.vcf files) are not possible.  Is this correct? The ability to sync with preexisting contact lists would be appreciated.Alternatively, the ability to read directly from a preexisting contact list in Gmail or Yahoo would be great. I was finally able to send photos via Gmail from the organizer after setting Gmail to work with "less secure" programs (which it cautions is not a good idea), such as Photoshop Elements. There is a dual authentication/password workaround - haven't tried it yet.  But why? I'm surprised that after 10 years (Elements 9) Adobe has done no better with this feature. Many significantly less robust image editors have more intuitive and workable photo email utilities than this.

Just purchased a new iMac with Big Sur. After the update last night Photoshop Elements 13 won't open. Worked fine before. Thanks.

I have had an unacceptable amount of problems with Elements 2020. The most serious is that this program seems to have eliminated the ability to burn images to a DVD disk. My question is: if I purchase Photoshop Elements 2021, would I have the same problem?  I am not going to buy the software only to get the same problems I am having now.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 cannot rotate HEIC images. It appears that the 2020 versions also lacked this ability.Developers, please add the ability to rotate HEIC files! Converting the file to a legacy format is not an acceptable solution!

I'm using Adobe Premier Elements 2020.  I would dearly appreciate it if a "sort by file" function was available.  Yes, I can go to each file to view its contents, but it would be very helpful to have the photos in the organizer to appear in the file order for easier  scrolling.  Also, when doing a specific search, say all photos from March 2010, if they were sorted by the file I could determine more easily where the files are located and if they should be moved to a more appropriate file.   Please add this function to the drop-down menu:  Sort by Newest, Oldest, Name, Import Batch, FILE.  

Hi everyone.  This week I purchased a new Mac running Big Sur, I have gone to download Elements 2019 and I get to a point where I select which version have a used and then try and launch Elements howver a box appears saying the file is corrupt. I have tried downloading it again and again with no luck. Is their a bug with Elements19 not able to run with Big Sur? 

Since updating to PSE2020 I can now import also HEIC images, but when trying to rotate the portrait files, a pop-up window appears:It saves the rotated image and keeps the landscape image as well.Besides losing the high efficiency storage mode, I also have now two files of which one is useless and needs to be deleted. So until Elements can edit HEIC images (display mode setting) there should be a checkbox to allow Elements to delete the HEIC wrongly displayed file together with rotating and writing in one of the optional formats, so that one can rotate multiple HEIC images with one click.

what has happened? I selected my images to burn to a disk. I clicked on move to and get a dialog box that wants me to choose a location. the only option is OS ( D ). I do not want to back up the files to the opperating system, I want to back up files to a dvd disk. where is the dvd option? right now, I am not able to burn to a physicial disk. why are you not allowing me to use the dvd drive? I have windows 10 computer.

I have a License for Elements 2019. I now want to close down the PC it is currently on and download to a new PC. I tried the suggested link and only got offered 2020 and 2021. Where can I get 2019 and do I need to deactivate my 2019 on the old PC; if so how do I do that? Any advice please?
