In the latest Beta build, we have improved export performance. on MAC only for H264/HEVC formats. In our testing, we are observing 10 to 20% reduction in time across various projects. Please try it out and see if you are getting these gains. Also, in case of any issues, please let us know.
Does anyone else notice that the audio sounds terrible and different than what it sounds like in the sequence? I have never had this issue with the exact same workflows in the regular Pr Pro
I have the new M1 Chip MacBook Pro and am having trouble transferring the MP3 files over from previous videos to the new usable MP4 format on Premeire Pro Beta. I used a MP3 to MP4 converter and was able to get the audio working for a short while and then an error code "Audio not found 00" continuously popped up. Is this something that is currently being fixed? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Even when updating to the most recent version of the beta, I am being told that I need a newer version of the software to open this .mogrt. The .mogrt is the one attached in this article about the new media replacement feature: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-beta/feature-focus-media-replacement-for-mogrts-and-essential-properties/td-p/11508035?page=1
I was happy be able to go back and try Premiere Pro on my M1, I do videos that export in Final Cut around 1 gb in size, and the same format with same source file wants to export at 384 gigabytes in a standard 20mbps h264 format. This is a major bug, it makes the app completely fun to work with but 100% useless.
Steps to reproduce: When video preview is selected sometimes it spans across 3 out of the 4 of my monitors. overlapping the actual premiere main screen so that you cannot edit. My preview is selected as my 4k tv which is my farthest left screen and located adjacent to the primary screen where I edit. It will span from left to right across 3 monitors leaving the last one all the way to the right able to work on whatever is displayed there. I will do an alt-tab to bring up the main premiere window to get it to focus on the program. But as soon as I click on the timeline window the preview window will span across all 3 monitors again. If I do alt-tab and go to my preferences I can turn of screen previews and be able to work again. I will typically leave it off for now as it becomes very annoying to have to go in and shut it off all the time. Hopefully i explained it well enough in detail. Trying to use the beta as loupedeck is broken with premiere pro since 14.5 (https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/premier-pro-v14-6-crash-when-add-track-in-timeline-sequence/td-p/11608784?page=1). I reverted back to 14.5, but unfortunately I get GPU errors when attempting to render most projects. So I thought I'd give the beta a go, but when I go to preferences, control surfaces and try to add the loupedeck it's missing? Guess this is just a thing with the beta? TBH, I'm really wishing I hadn't brought the loupedeck, but I have RSI in my left hand from using the control button too much, while reaching for shortcuts and was hoping that this was going to solve it (cue tiny violins). Anyway, any response on the matter appreciated. Thanks
MP3 files aren't recognized for import into Pr Pro (Beta)????
Steps to reproduce: 1. Using only 1 video/audio tack in the project, use WRITE MODE in Audio Track Mixer to record changes in fader volume levels for 10 seconcs. 2. Trim a 3 second section of that track then cut / remove that section Result: With Audio Mixer Track now in READ mode, the changes in fader volume levels remain the same for 10 seconds which incorrectly chnages volume on the following 3 seconds of the nex section of the audio track which did NOT need Audio TRack Fader changesExpected: I expected the 3 seconds of the deleted audio track to simultaneously delete the associated 3 seconds of the Audio Track Fader changes. i.e., if a 10 second Audio Track Fader change occurs using WRITE MODE in Audio Track Mixer, then 3 seconds of the audio track is rmeoved there should only be 7 seons of audio track with the corresponding 7 seconds of Audio Track Fader changes. The subsequent audio clip on that tr
Just recently discovered that Premiere Pro Beta version 14.9.0 does not support the Canon RAW light codec .CRM.I downloaded the Beta version of Premiere Pro so it can be compatible with my new Macbook Pro M1 laptop.
Steps to reproduce:1. Cut then Delete section of Caption track and video track2. Delete 'gap' in Caption track using 'Delete Ripple'. Result: ... Caption Track 'Delete Ripple' also deletes the same gap in the video BUT not the audio When moving audio track after the Caption Track 'Delete Ripple', audio track is not synced to video track e.g., removing 2 seconds in Caption Track using 'Delete Ripple' results in the associated audio track 'gap' being 2 seconds behind the video and caption tracks. Refer to screen shots. When trying to 'Delete Ripple' the gap in audio track, the video track also moves 2 seconds 'left'. Problem is audio track becomes out of sync to Video track when using Caption Track using 'Delete Ripple' Expected: ...Caption Track 'Delete Ripple' to only affect that track, not others. Audio to remain in sync with video track. System info Application: Premier
In v.14.4.0.28 Scene detection crashes the Premiere software everytime.
Suggestion for Caption Trimming:1. When trimming the end or sart of a caption segment, can a vertical line appear across the audio track(and possibly all tracks) to help align the start of speech/dialogue so that the caption trim can be more visually accurate please?Regards,Greg Cronan
I'm playing with some footage and getting lots of accidental glitches and data moshing. It's actually amazing for what I'm doing. So I'm screen capturing it and trying to trick premiere into doing it more. I'd like to make this an official feature request! EDIT: Added images inline.
Just installed latest version of PP Beta. Problems are:1. Captions Window has disappated but Captions track and text in each track segment is visible2. Double clicking in Captions track does not make the Captions Window appear.Refer to screen shots below. Can this be fixed ASAP?Regards,Greg Cronan
I'm using the latest Beta version and encountered the following problems using the Captions feature:1. Highlighting a 38 minute long SRT track and applying a Y axis value of 87 does not work. However, I can chnange this value is each SRT block which may conatin 3 to 10 worrds.2. After editing video an imported SRT track, timecode in SRT does not change to align to new Video timecode postion. e.g., Video timecode 00.00.07.00 but SRT timecode = 00.08.20.173. Inconsistent performance when dragging start or end bar of SRT timeline section. e.g., Fault 1: SRT block disappears. Fault 2: Cannt move left side SRT bar to new position within its block i.e., shorten the original length of the SRT bar... yet I can do this function at other times.4. When searching a word in Captions Panel then selecting a Caption block with that word, the respective sengment of video does not appear. This requires manually gragging the timeline bar to find the particlaur section of video and Caption. I suggest when
I'll drag an audio file into a folder and then the timeline. When I click play, i get an audio file not found error. Steps to reproduce: 1. ... Result: ...Expected: ... System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v14.9.0.41 OS: macOS v11.1.0, RAM: 16.00 GB, CPUs (logical): 8
Quick breakdown of the workflow: QuickTime Screen recordingBring that file into Pr ProUsually include some other footage from a camera to sync in the timeline The issue: If the screen recording file includes any movement, the footage looks very pixelated. This is a problem before and after a render as well as after the export. The original file does not have this problem. This was an issue with the M1 MacBook on the non-Beta version of Pr Pro, it seems to be better with the Beta, but still prevalent. This did not occur on a 2019 silicon updated MacBook. The screen recording file is not the same framerate as the sequence/timeline, but that has not been a problem on past/non-M1 machines. Possible fix: Disabling hardware encoding will fix it, but I don't see that as a viable solution given how slow software encoding is. If anyone knows of a fix without using software encoding, that would be incredible.
I want a movie of stills, so I set the default still duration to TWO seconds. Then they all come in at 1.29 seconds. Now what?
The current version of premiere beta for M1 (as of 1/4/2021) CAN'T FIND Red files associated with a premiere project that was previously created on the intel version of premiere... When I attempt to locate the files "For example" (A001_0101Z6.RDM ---> A001_R001_0101G3.RDC ---> A001_R001_0101G3_001.R3D)" they simply don't show up. They show up in finder, but the Adobe "Link Media" finder doesn't recognize them..... Is there a way to resolve this on my end or do I have to wait for an update?
In the new "Text" tool, when you click on "Add new captions segment" icon automatically deletes recent caption box with input and replaces with new blank caption box.
The audio sync in the beta seems to be off by about 10 frames Easy to manually fix but definitely off
Mass import via "show package contents" process of MOGRT files doesn't work. It misses the majority of them, but then when you go and add them in one-by-one, they work and import fine
While opening my project, it seems like MP3 files are not supported
is this something that will addressed in future updates?
