Steps to reproduce:Create a comp, with some audio, in AEDrag that comp into PProPlay that comp in PPro...it has audio - I can hear it. Look at its audio (in PPro)....there is an audio waveformDrag the comp into a bog-standard timelineResult:No audio appears on the timeline Expected:Audio should accompany the comp on the timeline Even if I drag the audio only (from the audio waveform view) to the timeline, I just get the "grabbing hand with 'no' sign on it" icon, and nothing happens. The ONLY way I can get it to work is by dragging the comp onto the 'new sequence' icon, then copying & pasting it from that new sequence into the target sequence. System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v25.3.0.51 OS: Windows v10.0.19045, RAM: 127.91 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 32
Opening a clip from the timeline in the source monitor and trying to adjust the in or outpoint results in an instant crash of Premiere. W11 25.3.0.47
Auto-ducking randomly stopped working. Reinstalled PPro, still happening?!Latest version of PPro.Macbook M1 and OS Sequoia latest version.Steps to reproduce:Select auto-ducking, select duck against diaglogue, hit generate keyframes, nothing happens. When selecting "generate keyframes" on audio that's already been ducked before this bug, it erases the keyframes and doesn't bring them back even when selecting to generate again. I have to CMD+Z back.
This has happened frequently. Suddenly all playback stops for everything. Timeline will scrub, but it cannot play until I restart the machine. Nothing else will play, even outside of Premier, so it's crashed a Windows service. This time I'm editing an hour long multicam sequence with 4 sources. In the master timeline, I made two cuts and ripple deleted the section in the middle. Then it refused to play. It's happened before, often when trimming a clip. See what you can find. Do you know what service may be crashing? I could dive into services and restart it. Using nVidia 2080tI with current studio driver. Since v25.1 swapping between large sequences in premiere has been painfully slowv25.0 vs 25.3 (same behaviour in v25.1 & 25.2, these are just the two versions I have installed rn). This is the exact same project file, using the exact same media/proxies etcI tried to start this project in v25.1 funnily enough but just couldn't do it, swapping between sequences was killing me. I've had this happen for two projects now over all 3 versions since 25.1 while 25.0 has remained rock solid. 1. v25.1+2. Windows 11 - 22631.4602, 7900x (and 9900x), 4070ti Super, everything on ssd's & prores proxies3. have 2x 1-3h timelines with constant edits, swap between them.4. I expect the sequences to swap instantly like 25.0 does, instead of taking multiple seconds to load before any inputs get registered.
The software keeps crashing. Adobe Premiere Beta version.
Steps to reproduce:1. create a key frame before the last one2. create a key frame on the last key frame3. try to move the graph of the last keyframe Result: cannot move the graph of the last keyframe to animate velocityExpected: something like the 2nd screenshot System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v25.3.0.27 OS: Windows v10.0.19045, RAM: 31.93 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 16
I just discovered an issue with the new color management pipeline. When footage is offline for some reason - either manually or the files have been moved to a different location - and Premiere Pro relinks them, the input tone mapping is reset to the default value. This happens on Premiere Pro Beta 25.2.0.74. I just noticed this because I moved this project and I noticed that every grading was gone. After some tinkering I discovered this was related to the tonemapping and than things clicked into place. See example here: Basically the dropdown-menu and 3 sliders are not preserved. Is this on purpose or an oversight?

Bonjour, La fonction de preview en plein écran ne fonction pas, le media ne s'affiche pas, a la place il y a un écran gris. Cordialement
Selection follows playhead (SFP) is acting up. When turned off, scrubbing is smooth. When SFP is turned on, the playhead hesitates on a cut. As soon as the clip is selected, it moves on smoothly until the next cut. W11 25.3.0.41 (also on pervious builds) It takes too long for the SFP to select the clip.
This is working in Release 23.5.0. See this "Ideas" (really a bug report) for related issues that are still present in this Beta or that could not be tested. @Kerstin Ebert https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-ideas/save-caption-module-default-prefences/idc-p/13834259#M9205 Steps to reproduce:1 Set up a sequence with an asset and either a source or static transcription. 2 Click "Create Captions" 3 Change any of the preferences, then click the 3 dots, and Save Current Settings as Preset. 4 The ok/save button is a Checkmark and the cancel is a circle with a line. Result: The checkmark does nothing; the cancel button cancels.Expected: The checkmark would save the preset, show it in the Project Panel, and make the Create Captions dialogue active to continue with the new preset System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v24.0.0.14 OS: Windows v10.0.19045, RAM: 63.80 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 16
Premiere Pro Beta Version: 25.3.0 (Build 25)Platform: macOS Sequoia 15.2Steps to Reproduce:1. Copy text from any source (e.g., TextEdit, browser, etc.).2. In Premiere Pro Beta, select the Type Tool (T).3. Click inside the Program Monitor to create a new text layer.4. Paste the copied text using Cmd + V or Edit > Paste.5. Premiere crashes instantly.Note: Same crash occurs if pasting text into any field within the Properties panel.Expected Result:The pasted text should appear in the selected field.Actual Result:Premiere crashes immediately on paste.Workaround:Pasting text into the Text Panel > Graphics tab does not cause a crash.
I don't know if this is a bug or if I'm doing something wrong. However, I don't get this issue with the stable release: If I try to view full screen playback, I just get the background grey filling the screen. I can hear sound, but no video. Playback is fine when not full screen. Playback settings are identical between satable and beta, same project. Wierdly if I plug my TV in then I can full screen playback on that no problem. Could I be doing something wrong? M4 Macbook Pro 32GB
Audio Track 1 keeps getting muted.Maybe after muting all tracks and un-muting, something goes wrong.
After comments being made on frame.io, the list on Comments windows updates. Unfortunately clicking on each comments should take to the timeline marker, but its not. it takes me to the end of the timeline. No changes been made to timeline after export to frame.io and back. time code on the comments shows all right. client monitor shows the frame ok. but still have to tipe the timecode on the program monitor to find it.
Steps to reproduce:Create a Linked AE Comp in PProIn AE, add an expression to something in that comp (eg. a random(100) on the opacity)If necessary, render that shot in PPro until the timeline bar goes greenSee how it works perfectly in PPro - the opacity flickers as expectedIn AE, disable that expression (click the expression's = sign) Result:Opacity in PPro still flickers; the timeline bar is still green because PPro thinks nothing's changed.Expected:Clip should need re-rendering in PPro because PPro should've been told by AE that the comp/clip has been updated. I'm on the latest AE/PPro beta apps, both updated today. Once again, here is a situation where it would be fantastic to have AE's "Purge > All memory & disk cache" function in PPro. Could we PLEASE have this? Even in PPro's prefs, it's only possible to delete "unused" media cach files. I regularly want to delete ALL cache files to force PPro to recreate all preview/render/etc. files when things (often) go a b
When I monitor audio in PPro Beta (25.3.0 Build 37), it's much quieter than in the release version (25.2.0 Build 147). I'm not talking about audio track levels or anything like that; here's the situation:Load up PPro BetaCreate a new projectDrag in a WAV file (it's a stock music file I downloaded from audiio.com today)Double-click it to play it. It peaks just below 0dB in PPro's audio meter, as you'd expect.Realise it's not very loud, even with my system volume turned up to 100 (it's quite loud, but not VERY loud as you'd expect)Save the project. Load up PPro ReleaseLoad up that same project.Play the audio file; it peaks just below 0dB in PPro's audio meter, as you'd expect.Realise it sounds MUCH louder than in PPro beta - even though the actual loudness of the track has not changed. Rummage through the audio hardware prefs of both apps, and see that in PPro Beta, I have this:...but in PPro Release, I have this:The output mapping is very different, even though it's the same p
LG
Working on a project where I have to reference files from multiple drives of older footage. But every time I open the project, the media not part of the main project folder I'm working on is always offline and I have to show Premiere where it is with relinking. Doesn't matter how many times I save it ...if I quit, next time I go in it totally forgets where the media is. Especially the proxies. Drive names have not changed or anything. After effects always finds it. The MacOS always knows where they are. Only PP has a short-term memory problem. That wouldn't be so bad if relinking the files, for whatever reason wasn't excruciatingly slllllllooooooowwww..
I've been using text based editing on a project which involved recording a workshop with two cameras and four audio recorders. The conversations also involved small break out groups which were audio recorded. I imported each recorder file, transcribed them and created subclips from in and out points(clip/make subclip). It's been very problematic and here's a list of the issues:- The timecode of the subclip and the transcript is different and won't playback from the text, only from the video window and the text will not be follow with playback. - when I export the subclip transcript I generally, and by generally I mean 90% of my exports and completely randomly, I get an export of the full source file transcript and not the transcript for the subclip section although it appears on the text section of the subclip at such. Additionally, eventhough the subclip transcript exports include the whole source clip transcript, the timecodes associated in the transcript coinc

I updated to Premiere Pro Beta 25.3 yesterday. Crashes just as app is about to open. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still crashes. Never had this issue before with beta app. Please let me know what additional info I need to provide. Running Windows 10 with latest update, NVidia GTX 1070 with latest studio driver, 32 GB Ram, Intel i7-9700K. Fixed typo 26.6 to 25.3 by mod.
Hi,The last two Beta updates of Premiere (25.3 and 25.3.x) cause the program to crash immediately upon launch (on my windows 10). It doesn’t stay open, so I’m unable to work or test any UXP code.A really helpful solution would be the ability to install previous Beta versions. Would it be possible to make this available through the Creative Cloud Desktop app?Or perhaps through a repository where older Beta versions could be downloaded and installed manually? Many thanks,Joan
