Hi, When I'm working, the video will randomly go full screen without even working on the sequence. It randomly sometimes crash too. I don't have the problem on the non-beta version. Driver are up-to-date. Thanks a lot !
Ok, I totally underatand the intellectual rationale behind the existence of the Source tab in the Effects Control Panel versus the Sequence settings. Source settings are applied to all instances of any segment of that original clip. So if you change the Source settings in one bit of a clip on one sequence, you've also changed every instance of any bit of that clip on every other sequence in that project. That's a two-edged sword right there, it can both be very handy ... and very destructive. But the two biggest problems both have to do with the operational part of dealing with Source vs Sequence settings: You never ever see every effect applied to any clip in one view. You can't if it's got any Source setting, nor can you tell if it has a Source setting effect. Which all RED, ArriRAW, BMRAW, Canon Log & RAW, Sony Log & Raw, and now several other cameras provide with their media. You must mouse click to go between Source and Sequence tabs. There are no key
So, the Announcemnt for the new Header bar says:"Much better use of space" I don't think so. See the screen shot. We have the project name in the Windows title bar, the project name in the Header Bar, and the project name in the currently selected panel in the Project Window. Having the same thing, in 3 different places, while taking away the workspace presets from the Header Bar is just not a better use of space. Please, please, please put it back to the current version.
Premiere Pro (Beta) crashes when I make a media file offline then link media with a different file (the media file was the incorrect one so I made it offline and clicked link media and placed the correct media file) but that's where Premiere Pro (Beta) crashes every time.
When (lets say a 2 second) clip is placed on the timeline, the source window shows the "source timeline".If you then stretch the clip (for example to 1.5 seconds), the "source timeline" hides the end of the clip and it does not reappear if you put the length back to original 100%.
THANK YOU ENGINEERS! I've been asking, begging, and PLEADING for years to get the RGB Curves tool in Lumetri to be a wide horizontal shape like the other curves. It makes for a much easier and finer control of the image. And ... IT'S THERE! Now! Thank you thank you thank you ... @Francis-Crossman17221443 @mattchristensen @TrentHappel @Wes Howell and everyone else! Neil ... feeling blissful at the moment ... sigh ... 😉 (But it would be even a LOT cooler/better with adjustable splines ... )
Hello, speech to text is working way better than I could have hoped. Here's one snag, though. The speech to text applies to sequences, not clips, as far as I can tell. Is there any way to transcribe a clip, then have that data live on the clip? Like markers would? I'm transcribing a clip, then using that transcription to put together a cut, so I don't want the transcription to live on the sequence, as the sequence is not put together yet. I want to put the transciption onto a clip, then use that transcription to find things in the clip, which I would then use to build my sequence. Is that possible in this version? Or can it only be applied to sequences? Thanks!
I've updated to V22 build 24 and the latest version of AE beta. Now I cannot edit my essential graphics in realtime. When I adjust a parameter the video in the program monitor freezes. If I hit play I can hear audio but video remains frozen. When I try to render the effect the render window opens but does nothing.
I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro (Version 22.0.0 BETA, Build 29) on an i7 Surface Pro 7 and am losing audio when I export a video. The video is ~50 minutes long and being saved as H.265 mp4 (60fps 1920x1080 video, 320kbps 48000 Hz AAC audio) using Software Encoding. I have tried exporting it twice, and both times there was a different ~1 min period of the video without any sound (it plays fine in the timeline). There is no problem when exporting the video using Premiere Pro (v15.2.0, Build 35). Any other information that is needed?
I've been playing around with the new import system and, much of our older archived video is in AVCHD containers, and the new Import system does not appear to support this. That could be a problem. In many ways I still prefer the old Media Browser system anyway. This new one comes out of the "it just works" philosophy. Cool for new editors, not for pros.
This is a source sequence in BT.2100 PQ which is important for some of these items.Steps to reproduce: 1. Right click sequence, "Export media" Result: Fonts in various locations range from slightly glitched to unreadable.Expected: Vector fonts display correctly like they have since Windows 3.1. These next ones have been issues for a while, but I don't write these types of things up often so they're going here. I was kind of hoping the beta would have fixed one or any of them, but it hasn't. I apologize but I'm not going to make multiple posts / bugs for this topic. 1. Select HEVC (H.265) encoding. 2. Select Main10 as profile. Result: Hardware encoding is disabled with no explanation.Expected: If it's trying to use the hardware encoder chip on my GPU (Radeon Vega 64) and 10bpc isn't supported, just tell me that somewhere. The non-beta premiere at least had a message,
I click Camera icon. But I can't take a screen shot. Nothing happned.
I am working on an edit using footage from my BMPCC 4k. I am editing on Premiere Pro v15.4 BETA and my BM Raw plug in is v2.1. Footage will display in the preview panel but when adding to the timeline it will only import the audio track. I haven't updated my firmware on my BMPCC in a while, could that be causing the issue?
Hello,I have now installed the Beta version of Premiere Pro. Am I able to uninstall the Intel version, or do I need to keep it installed to run the Beta? Many thanks,
I am using a 24" iMac with 16gb of ram for my work and it has been fantastic until Adobe's last update. Since then, it just keeps getting worse and worse. It started by being unable to play 4k120, where before I had no issues whatsoever, but today all of a sudden I can't even play 4k60. Not even one second… I also the get the "audio and video clock out of sync" error message. I have checked the activity monitor, as soon as I try to play a clip, Premiere Pro goes up to 700-800% of CPU usage and temperature reaches 99ºC. Out of nowhere, I simply can't work anymore. I can't even scrub through a clip, the preview doesn't even change… I have not installed anything else, I have not changed anything and the video settings are the exact same as they were a month ago. Is anyone experiencing something similar? 😕😕 the only temporary solution I found is to convert all the material to Apple ProRes… but this slows down the workflow and requieres yet more space.
Can someone point me in the right direction to find the Adobe Premiere Pro 15.4 beta version? I am using braw files and I cannot use my current version to get things done correctly.
System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v15.1.0.10 OS: macOS v11.2.3, RAM: 16.00 GB, CPUs (logical): 8 I encounter problems while playing sequences. There are some parts of the frame shifting. It happens while playing normally and while advancing frame by frame. Any info on this issue ?
The Export menu is not allowing export and the dropdown menu for format is not showing up either.
When I try to export captions as a sidecar SRT file the subtitle track gets turned off and doesn't work in Media Encoder. If I Export directly the sequence directly it usually works, but I always have to turn the subtitle track back on.
See thread at https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-beta/caption-sidecar-srt-file-export-doesn-t-turns-off-subtitle-track/td-p/12175265 Not sure of the build of the original poster; I am at 25. Steps to reproduce: 1. Export sequence with a caption track. 2. Set for sidecar/srt (burn in does not create this problem; did not test non-srt sidecars) 3. Export directly from PR (or according to poster, also via AME). Result: Upon return from export (and you can see this behind the export progress window), the Caption Track has been disabled (eyeball off). Expected: Caption Track should remain enabled. System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v22.0.0.25 OS: Windows v10.0.19041, RAM: 23.99 GB, CPUs (logical): 8
The new dropdown button, then selecting a workspace is a very poor idea.We use this all the time to switch between layout. ie. editing, graphics, effects, user definedNow I have to go to a button, look down a list to find it, and then click on it.Too many button presses and too much effort to change a workspace, and sometime you click on the wrong one in the list. Please put it back the way it was. Having each workspace at the top of the screen is clear, simple and easy to use.The beta notes say:"Workspaces have been relocated into a dropdown menu on the right which is a much better use of space."It's not because there's a lot of space up there, and it's made it much more difficult to use.
Hi Adobe! i'm encountering some glitches on my videos while editing on premiere beta. please check on it asap.
After exporting a file, the active timeline switches to the first timeline that's open in the timeline window, instead of the most recent timeline (which was just exported).
