Premiere Elements

Hi there! I'm using the latest Premiere Elements 2020 to full satisfaction, but there's a nasty issues that bugs me on quite a few clips recently. When using the auto smart tone function results as are expected (=great), but in some clips it will suddenly change tone from one frame on the next in the middle of the clip. This results in unusable material. I've added an example - two screenshots after applying auto smart tone, two subsequent frames in the middle of the clip.          The reference guide says: "the clip gets divided into visually similar scenes (You can see the scene marks in the timeline)". First of all: please don't do this if this leads to quirky tone changes in the middle of the clip 🙂 Secondly: I don't see the scene marks in the timeline, so I can't correct any of the tone changes between those computer identified scenes.          Last thing I've noticed:

Ich kaufte heute AdobePhotoshop  Element Premiere 2020 und versuche den Hintergrund eines Fotos, (nicht eines Videos!) zu ändern. Über die Hilfefunktion wurde ich zu "Modus Assistent - Spezielle Bearbeitung" geleitt, dort wird ausführlich beschrieben wie man vorgehen soll, allerdings bezieht sich das auf Photoshop Elements 2018. Meine bisherige Version ist aber ADOBE PHotoshop Elements 13. In Elements Premiere 2020 finde ich keine Funktion "Assistent". Öffne ich mein altes Elements 13, finde ich zwar Assistent, aber darin keine Möglichkeit den Hintergrund eines Fotos zu ändern.Was nützt mir also, dass ich für rd. 80 Euro Premiere 2020 als Update  gekauft habe, wenn es dort keinen Assistent gibt, und mein altes Elements 13 nicht den Hintergrund ändern kann?Kann mir jemeand einen Rat geben?Oder wie kann man das Update zurückgeben und sein Geld zurückerhalten?Es grüßtJO31

Premiere Elements 2019.  Everytime I start a new project I have to go in and change the settings from the default settings.  Is there a way to set new default settings so that I don't have to do that on every new project?

Premiere elements 2020 doesn't recognize my external HDs so I cant add media to projects. Mov, jpeg, or wav files. should be strait forward   MacOs Mojave verison 10.14.6. NVIDIA GEForce GTX 6800MX. I can add media to iMovie however.

Using Premiere Elements 11. Adding still JPG images from file to a project. Can  add and move to correct place, and image looks OK. Then when you play the clip the image is either more blurry than original or worse pixalated. I have tried altering the pixel setting appears no different. Have I done something wrong? Would it help if I resaved image as a PSP file? Or is there something else.

I am strugglling to get HVEC H.265. imported into Organizer or Premier Elements. I have the latest October 2019 Windows, HEVC pluggin from MS $.99 and the Trial versions of Elements 2020. Any advice is very much apperciated UPDATE 28th October 2019: The trial version does allow HEVC file imports, just not on one of my machines.

I have a GoPro 7 and would like to edit the videos. The videos are in MP4 format and HEVC. I have already loaded the HEVC codec for 99 cents from the Microsoft Store and can also play the videos on my PC without any problems. With Premiere Elements 2000 (trial version) I get the message that the system must be configured for HEVC. I have already followed Adobe's instructions and also deleted the video cache. I still can't import HEVC videos. I ask for help and support.

When I "Add Media" with a HEVC/H.265 clip I get an error:  When I click on "Learn More" I get:    I think I have the Windows HEVC Codec from Microsoft on my computer, but can't figure out how to verify that.  What should I try next?  Thanks.Bill 

How can I do to give many clips the same atribute for example same "scale" ???

Hello,from one day to the other I can´t choose anymore the Style in the text field. They simply disappeared and I need them. Text, Animation and shape I can choose but not Style.What can I do to get them back?

I copy a text object in the video editor. If I adjust the copy, the original is also adjusted. This cannot be the intention / is a bug? 

I'm having problems with Premiere Elements 11 on my laptop running Windows 10. Graphics is AMD Radeon HD 8200 / R3 series with fully up-to-date driver. I've only started using this Photoshop Elements in the last few months. The videos have always been 'choppy' - they play fine in other players. But now, when I'm making a project, the preview panel is blank. The audio plays normally, and I can see a still when I pause it - bu blank when playing, which makes proper editing very difficult. I came across an old thread with the exact same symptoms, https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-elements/preview-panel-in-premiere-elements-10-stopped-working/td-p/5555851?page=1 but the answers suggest that this was very specific to Elements 10 and Nvidia graphics card, which is not my situation.Any help sorting this very gratefully received -so much the better if offered in 'For Dummies' language!thanksMark

Hello, On Adobe Premiere Elements 2020, I can't use certain audio tracks offered by Adobe. In this case there is no longer a blue strip and I cannot insert them into my video project. Just reinstalled PE2014 on Windows 10 and frequently the playback turns to black. My fix is a restart/reboot but you can't do that too often without seriously suffering from productivity. TIA.

What model graphics card and what driver number do you have?

I have imported different types of audio-files (MP3, MPEG 4 audio,  but I can't get any sound under my video's.

I store all my raw video on Blu Ray discs after I remove them from the SD card. What is the best way to import parts of this raw video from blu ray discs into Premiere Elements 15 or 19?  None of this video is copyrighted or protected, but just my own warehoused video.

Everytime I open up Adobe Premiere Elements and try to access the video editor, it gives me an error:"Adobe Application Manager, required to start your trial, is missing or damaged. Please download a new copy of Adobe Application Manager from http://www.adobe.com/go/applicationmanager." I have followed a handful of different videos that addressed this issue and downloaded the application manager, to no prevail. Customer service for adobe has been less than helpful. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Is there a registry setting or something that will let me show more than the 5 most recent video projects?

PE 18For some reason I am now getting this installation error but the link to see the error summary does not lead to anywhere ? 

I upgraded from version 14 to 18. In the new PE2020 ver18; when I place a video in the timeline; the timing is incorrect. If I view a video in any application, i can pick a scene at a certain time, for example 10:25 and when I open the video in PE14 i can go to 10:25 and I'm exactly at the same frame in the video. However, when I open the video in PE2020 ver18, and go to 10:25, the video is at a different frame, a different point in time. The video starts at 0:0 in the correct spot but slowly the time is shifted off as the video progresses. 

Whenever trying to open Premiere Elements I always get the following error message: I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, and updating C++. I still get this error message and can't open Premiere. If anyone can help, I would much appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi I wonder if anyone has used this app in Elements I am trying to make a DVD label using the pre-installed create DVD Label. I want to try and change the background theme it comes with , or is there a way to download more themes ?ANy help much appreciatedThanks

I may have posted this already but not sure if it posted as there does not seem a way to view your posts but here it is again.... I recently installed Premier Elements 2020 on my new PC and have completed several projects successfully all my projects are stored on a shared hard drive however when I try to open a project made in version 2020 with version 2019 [edited by moderator- was 2029] on another PC if fails to open the project, is version 2020 not backwards compatible ?  old Projects made in older versions open in version 2020 no problem and can be worked on, however when an updated project is resaved in 2020 it will not open in older versions. Any one got any ideas on this one ?
