Premiere Elements

Hello!I've been working on this project for my acting class for three days and everything has been fine. Then last night, the narration I recorded wouldn't play when I would play my video. The music is fine and the audio is fine just the narration won't play. This is a project due in 4 days and I really need help. This is a school computer which is a Think Pad. The software that is downloaded on it is Adobe Premiere Elements 15. I have tried multiple solutions and none has worked. Please help! Thank you!!

I am using adobe premier elements 14 . Cannot get my audio to come on with the video I am editing . Any suggestions ?

Does PSE/PRE organizer 2018 search video for people faces?  does it create video scenes from the video files, and organized these things along with photo data?The documentation and forums, etc. seem to suggest that video is also searched and possibly parsed into "scenes".  I cant tell if this is really true, or possibly applied to some previous version, etc.

I did an update yesterday to my Adobe Premiere elements 13.1(20150131.daily.767917).  Now cannot drag and drop video from my video camera into the software. Please help. 

I am making a video where I use the templates provided by Adobe, however, I can't seem to change the background to an image I want. I been searching on the Internet everywhere, but can't find the answer to my question.

I have premiere elements 11. I have produced many videos out of it without issue. However, I have rarely done a lot of messing with a video that I add in. I typically have a title screen and end screen. Then I add a video in the middle and leave it as is. Recently, I tried to experiment with effects, using the trim feature to split the video up into pieces that have the Gaussian blur effect applied. However, when I go to publish the video, the quality is much poorer than when I just leave the video untouched within the project. The video is less clear and also choppier (maybe - not an expert on how to describe the issue).FYI, I am currently seeing a message asking if I want to fix quality problems in clips when I add a video. Maybe that is a factor. However, if I leave the clip untouched, the published video looks good.Why is the video quality so much poorer when I trim and add effects?

Please help.    I am converting VHS to digital.   I have been using Diamond VC500 digitizer with PowerDirector 12.   The output is a standard mpg file.  Here are the properties that show up when I view in PE12: mpeg movie, 720x480, 29.97 frame rate.  I have Windows 10 on a powerful pc, all drivers up to date, etc.When I view this mpeg file with anything other than within PE12 it looks fine but once I import into PE12 it has green frames all throughout the video and it exports that way too.   I have tried just about every project setting all with same results.    PowerDirector's DVD burner isn't working right so I want to use PE12 to burn a dvd and make some other edits but now I am at a loss.Please help!

Hello and please help.   I know this question has been discussed over and over but I can't seem to find an answer.  Many topics I have read are older and therefore don't take into account tvs/displays that we use today.I have numerous home videos from a Panasonic SDR H200.  It created SD videos and I have pasted the media info from one of the files below.  I am combining many of these smaller clips for organization and want to save as MP4 (h.264) which will also save some space.   My question is the original video is interlaced.   Everything that we will be watching these videos on are high definition tvs, monitors, etc. which are all progressive.  I will not be burning DVDs but saving on external hard drives.  What is my best option for output?   Keep it interlaced or make it progressive?   I've tried both ways and am struggling to see which is better so I'm wondering which should be better??  I can defini

Using PRemiere Elements 2018.  My narration is garbled...tried both clicking and unclicking the 'mute audio while recording' option.  I have the speakers on my computer turned off.  Using my laptops microphone.  Just switched from Windows Movie Maker and never had this problem, so don't think it's my computer.  I'm sure I have something clicked/unclicked incorrectly...any guidance much appreciated.

I've been trying to upload a couple of video files. For some reason one will upload with no problem but the second one always adds just the audio, not the video even though they're both MOV files as shown in the picture. What causes this, and how can I fix it?

i have recently created a video with two videos and one audio.  Video 1 is lyrics.  Video 2 is slide show.  Audio 1  is me singing.  Everything is perfectly strategically placed.  I HAD ISSUES DOING THIS!!!!! every time i put a picture down ADOBE PROGRAMMMMM wanted to auto cut, splice push things every which way and mess everything up.  BUT I got through this slowly by expanding everything in expert mode and putting things perfectly in place.  Most times I had to redo this 90 times.Now I am trying to pan and zoom and bring the video 2 to life.  Whenever I get one picture perfect just the way i want zooming moving from place to place in the picture I  confirm my pan and zoom and back out to expert mode.   ADOBEEEEE STUPIIIDDDD ADOBEEEE PROGRAMMMM auto moved my audio pushed my audio splice 10 seconds and now nothing lines up any more.  nothing is in strategic place.   I HATE ADOBE AUTO PROGRAM TRYING TO COUNTER AC

For each year I make a familie video. I then save it as an mpeg2, mp4 and ISO file. I then burn  (software:Burn Aware free) the ISO file to a blue ray disc. Since each movie is only 10-15 minutes long, I only use a fraction of the disc. Is it possible to burn several ISO files on the same blue ray disc? This way I could have 4-5 movies on the same disc.

I have Premiere Elements 11. What is the easiest way to block out personal information (SSN for example) in a video? I'm thinking that I would just put a solid black rectangle over it.

Hi, I need to get my hands on some decent footage filters for Adobe elements 13.  I know this software doesn't come with the more controllable options as P-Pro etc, I was wondering if anyone had any helpful tips or any plugins they can recommend?Many thanks, Adam

Hi Evrybody.I am using PE 14 with El Capitan.Everything went flawless except with the last video project.If try to render the video I get very nice video, but the audio is some kind of robotic noise.I never had this issue before.I did try to check for diffrent options in redering, also did try to render to diffrent HDs.Nothing helps!!Why is the Output of the audio corrupted now?May it helps to know that I use audio tracks out of Logic X by Apple .wav 44.1 khz / 16 Bit / Ditherd.Any help is welcome becasue we want to publish the project.Thanks for your help.AO

I have to have this done by today! I imported a vob file from a dvd.  it will not import the correct specs.  i am very upset and disturbed that a video editing program cant do something as simple as copying the original content on to a new project.  I tried to interpret every type of footage.  I tried to recreate the project 20 times changing the settings.  and every time this video is screwed up by adobe's stupid program.  hope you have an easy fix that im missing.  personally im getting to the point im going to go ask for my money back.  I tried to find a contact number for this problem and it keeps redirecting me to the same website.  I will continue to look for a phone number. but would like answer now.

I have been going through internet and NO ONE has the answer for this question (or if they have the understanding would need a higher degree from computer science).So really simple thing, I want to add text on one part of the video but not for the default 6s. How do I change that? Because changing it afterwards from the "project assets" will not change it from the timeline. No effect at all does not matter what I do. So how I should proceed or is this something impossible to do in Premiere Elements??

When I attempt to upload an SD 360 clip (resolution 640 x 360) to Vimeo in Standard Quality, the process can't be completed. When I click Share, I'm prompted to Authorize Elements to upload to my Vimeo account. I then click Authorize, and a browser opens for me to log into Vimeo. When I do so, and click Allow to let Elements upload to my Vimeo account, the browser then goes to a blank page. In Elements, there is then a dialog box with a button that says Complete Authorization. When I do this, I receive an Error and am told "Your authentication details could not be verified. Kindly try again." I've done this repeatedly with no luck. I've closed and restarted Elements. I've closed and restarted my browser. I've rebooted my laptop. Nothing works. PLEASE HELP!!!

I bought it several years ago. After a recent Mac upgrade, some files won't open, so I think I need to re-install the program. Thanks.

So this was shot way back in 2003 and somewhere along the trip a button clearly got presses and all subsequent footage has a blue tint. No doubt some form of lighting compensation setting and white balance issue but if there are any suggestions to remedy this it would be much appreciated. thanks.

Hi all,After many tests and issues with the shake reduction, I have done a minimalist test described bellow.First, my PC environment is Windows Seven with 16 GB of RAM and I use Premiere Elements Studio 2018.1) I create a new project.2) Within this project, I only add one clip of 10 seconds.3) I apply the shake reducton (I have tried the four modes vith or without crops and the issue is the same) on this clip.4) I export this little video without problem.5) I save the project (including the shake reduction function).6) I close Premiere Elements.7) I reopen Premiere Elements.😎 I reopen my project.9) (Without modifications) I try to export again the video and now I obtain the error message (Shake Reduction in progress or has encountered an error...).I have always this issue. I can't reexport a video!There is a bug and this behavior is abnormal. What can I do (excepted delete shake reduction on the clip and redo all again)?Thanks a lot for your answer.BR.Michel

I recently upgraded from APE10 to APE18. The prels created from .vob files do not import into APE18.  Furthermore, when I import the .vob files individually, only the video is present. I read the helpx.adobe post "Supported file formats in Adobe Premiere Elements." It states that .vob files are not supported on Windows 7. Are there any codecs or tricks that would allow me to import .vob files (and .vobs in prels)?  I know that I can convert .vob files to .avi files with avidemux – that works – but it’s very time consuming.

So, today when I tried to open Premiere Elements 15 I got the same pop-up that loads of people apparently got before. I searched this forum and now I have tried ALL the suggested solutions to this. Deleting BadDrivers.txt, tried to re-install Premiere, tried to reset the laptop to the default settings/drivers that I had when I first bought it, with which Premiere worked just fine... Contacted Adobe support by phone and the guy insisted that it must be a graphics driver problem. But that cannot be, since I have tried to reset the drivers to the version I previously had with no luck. I then tried the Adobe chat support and the tech there simply stopped answering when I told him all this... Getting pretty upset by this since it´s a product I have paid for. "Problem specs"Premiere Elements 15Win 10 64 bitGraphics card - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (with different drivers, including the latest 390.65)PLEASE! Can anyone try to help me?!
