I have Premier Elements 10. I upgraded my Mac to Sierra 10.12.6. Some files still load in Elements, but some return the message "This project is not compatible with current version of Premier Elements". Any ideas? Thank you.

So i just got a new computer and I redeemed my old Premiere 11 , i downloaded it n even set up my phone to automatically upload any new files to my One Drive (if it even matters) and I'm having issues because its a new computer, and phone, but is premiere 11 just too old? or am i missing something. I just want to edit the videos that I've taken on my phone with premiere. Please help....this is not necessarily a Premiere Elements question but more of a general video file question.   I am collecting all of my family's videos and creating numerous different movies.  Aside from the name, I don't see where or how I can include some sort of description of the contents.   I know there is a comments field in the details tab of the file but I am not able to add anything to that field.   Does anyone know how I can do this so I know what is in the videos?Thanks.

Been running Pre 11 for several years, mostly uneventful until lately. Was on Win7, then to Win10, then upgraded computer internals, but with same drives etc, main is 250G SSD, scratch is 512G SSD, 8 core 4G proc. 32G RAM, Radeon 7950.It was working fine, then began stopping, now program won't start at all.  Updated drivers, and quicktime, even uninstalled Pre11 and re-installed - still won't even start!  Any ideas?

I am using Premiere Elements 2011 on a regular PC (not a Mac).I have a narration that my dad did of his life from childhood and now I want to add some photos to it....What is the best way to edit so that everything matches up easily? I see now that it would have been best to start with the photos and add narration after but ..... hindsight right?Does a narration line get edited the same as a video/photo line?Thanks,Judy

Hi there, I think I'm about to upgrade from PE11 to PE2018 and I'd like to ask you experts here if 2018 can do these?1) Can it handle 4K input, output and using 4K video for PAN & SCAN to output in 1080p? My PE11 cannot handle pan & scan it seems.2) How does it edit 4K? Does it make small proxie files or something or is it showing the actual 4K video clip when we work on it? Asking as it can be a memory hog.3) I prefer the look of 24p for final output. If I shoot in 60p in case I want to do slow-mo and then choose to save as 24p, will it be a smooth and good conversion to 24p and have that filmic look I desire? If not, then why am I shooting in 60p?4) Does PE2018 have filters I can use to color time the video clips? It would be great to give it filmic looks and even better if there were some preset filters so I don't have to color time manually every time.5) Are the titles (still or motion) good enough to give Adobe After Effects a run for it's money? Meaning, will PE2018 allow

Can anyone help me? When creating a video, I am unable to apply an animation to my title... The "Apply" button simply does not allow me to click on it after I have chosen the animation that I want... I am hoping to have a finished presentation for a client within the next day or so. Please help!

I have been editing and rendering a lot of 1080p60 footage and creating videos for YouTube.  Most of the time the results are perfect, however sometimes I find in the output rendered video (say around 1 in 10 times) there are occasional moments (~1 sec) where the resolution seems to drop and then recover, much in the same way as is seen when videos are streamed and there are bandwidth issues.Does anyone know why this may be happening and how I might prevent it?My output render settings are:Format : H.264Frame Size : 1920 x 1080 (same as original footage)FPS : 60 (same as original footage)Profile : HighLevel : 5.1Render at Maximum Depth : OFFBitrate Encoding : 2 Pass, VBRTarget Bitrate : 15 MbpsMax Bitrate : 50 MbpsThanks in advance for any help.

After rendering video or picture in Adobe premiere elements 15 my playback quality shows artifacts. Slightly poorer quality in the playback window, but if I don't press the render tab then the playback quality is perfect...not sure what I'm doing wrong....please help

I have a title sorted but it doesn't show up from the start. It kicks in after a few seconds. I want the title to show up on my YouTube Channel from the start.

I can't figure out how to add captions or lyrics. Is this possible?  I have added my own music video but can't figure out how to add lyrics...Thanks in advance from a non-tech-y person!

How do you safely move all of the Adobe Premiere Elements files, and I do mean EVERYTHING, from one drive to another without corrupting anything? How do I get it to install on another drive in the first? And most importantly, how do I get it to store the files from projects I'm currently editing on my HDD instead of my very low capacity SSD? I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 15 and I've noticed that when I put a file into the timeline, space on my SSD temporarily goes down, and when it fills it up completely the audio will just vanish from the video and won't show up even if the video is rendered. I hope that I can get some help with this.

Hi, I can't find any solution to this particular issue. Please give me a link if I have missed something.I'm running PE 14 on my macbook air (128Gb SSD, 8 Gb RAM, 1,6 GHz i5). Recently it the program is not allowing any preview of any clips. When I double click on a project asset (gopro or Lumix movie regardless) the preview window will pop up. But when I try to enlarge the window (from stamp size to quarter screen) the entire program crashes and shut down.The issue started when I had the media files on the SSD, which was pretty full. But since I've bought a external drive (rugged LaCie) and put the media files on that and the problem is the same.Anyone experienced this issue? Is there a fix??Thanks for any suggestions!Axel

I have Premiere Elements 12, and I'm trying to distribute evenly 7 lines of text (each it's own asset), but when I highlight the text, all the options under Text are grayed out, except "Text" at the top. How do I get them to not be grayed out?

I downloaded & installed PE 12 on a new WIN 10 PC  as I had to upgrade from Win 7 PC. The program runs perfectly EXCEPT that the audio presets are not visible. When I click on the Audio tab at the bottom ( with music  note symbol) no audio files are to be seen in the pop up. I may add that other presets for Effect, Titles, etc are visible & working fine.I may also add that the Audio tab was working perfectly well in my earlier installation on the Win 7 PC.Tried uninstalling & re-installing PE12 again. Same result. Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.
