Premiere Elements

I have been editing and rendering a lot of 1080p60 footage and creating videos for YouTube.  Most of the time the results are perfect, however sometimes I find in the output rendered video (say around 1 in 10 times) there are occasional moments (~1 sec) where the resolution seems to drop and then recover, much in the same way as is seen when videos are streamed and there are bandwidth issues.Does anyone know why this may be happening and how I might prevent it?My output render settings are:Format : H.264Frame Size : 1920 x 1080 (same as original footage)FPS : 60 (same as original footage)Profile : HighLevel : 5.1Render at Maximum Depth : OFFBitrate Encoding : 2 Pass, VBRTarget Bitrate : 15 MbpsMax Bitrate : 50 MbpsThanks in advance for any help.

After rendering video or picture in Adobe premiere elements 15 my playback quality shows artifacts. Slightly poorer quality in the playback window, but if I don't press the render tab then the playback quality is perfect...not sure what I'm doing wrong....please help

I have a title sorted but it doesn't show up from the start. It kicks in after a few seconds. I want the title to show up on my YouTube Channel from the start.

I can't figure out how to add captions or lyrics. Is this possible?  I have added my own music video but can't figure out how to add lyrics...Thanks in advance from a non-tech-y person!

How do you safely move all of the Adobe Premiere Elements files, and I do mean EVERYTHING, from one drive to another without corrupting anything? How do I get it to install on another drive in the first? And most importantly, how do I get it to store the files from projects I'm currently editing on my HDD instead of my very low capacity SSD? I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 15 and I've noticed that when I put a file into the timeline, space on my SSD temporarily goes down, and when it fills it up completely the audio will just vanish from the video and won't show up even if the video is rendered. I hope that I can get some help with this.

Hi, I can't find any solution to this particular issue. Please give me a link if I have missed something.I'm running PE 14 on my macbook air (128Gb SSD, 8 Gb RAM, 1,6 GHz i5). Recently it the program is not allowing any preview of any clips. When I double click on a project asset (gopro or Lumix movie regardless) the preview window will pop up. But when I try to enlarge the window (from stamp size to quarter screen) the entire program crashes and shut down.The issue started when I had the media files on the SSD, which was pretty full. But since I've bought a external drive (rugged LaCie) and put the media files on that and the problem is the same.Anyone experienced this issue? Is there a fix??Thanks for any suggestions!Axel

I have Premiere Elements 12, and I'm trying to distribute evenly 7 lines of text (each it's own asset), but when I highlight the text, all the options under Text are grayed out, except "Text" at the top. How do I get them to not be grayed out?

I downloaded & installed PE 12 on a new WIN 10 PC  as I had to upgrade from Win 7 PC. The program runs perfectly EXCEPT that the audio presets are not visible. When I click on the Audio tab at the bottom ( with music  note symbol) no audio files are to be seen in the pop up. I may add that other presets for Effect, Titles, etc are visible & working fine.I may also add that the Audio tab was working perfectly well in my earlier installation on the Win 7 PC.Tried uninstalling & re-installing PE12 again. Same result. Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated. How do I add our logo into the video so it shows up while the video is playing?

I use Premiere Elements 12 with my OS of Win7Pro.  I like to input an audio for my disc menu; however, I cannot adjust the volume of that audio clip.  I usually go back to the movie and increase the volume of the regular soundtracks to compensate.  Otherwise, when the disc is inserted, and the disc menu shows up, the audio can be really loud, while the audio in the movie clips is pleasing.  When I increase the volume of the movie to equal the disc menu audio, it is with the assumption that I will be decreasing the TV's volume.  Again, is there a way to control the volume of the audio clip I add to the disc menu?  Thank you.

I'm placing many photos and slides into presentations that have been filmed already and I want to know if there is a way to create a template that I could save and use over and over for the same exact placement of the slides on the video while it's running. The Video is running on video 1 and I'm dropping the stills on video 2 and resizing everyone of them up to the corner through "Applied Effects" and then the "Motion" tab and then changing my values to the exact same thing time after time and I will be doing this for many more presentations to come. So it would be awesome to be able to somehow drop a pic into a template that recognized my preset values and placed it accordingly. I'm using Premiere 14 and I really hope you all can save me lots of wasted time.

Ok so I actually have more than one question related to this.First off, I was looking at the "Titles and Text" and I noticed several of these are in the Instant Movie section but they are not animated like they are in Instant Movie (other than the end credit screens which have the scrolling text). Do these come with their own animations (other than the text) or are they just stationary slides?Second, if I wanted to take the animated intros from Instant Movie and use them in my own video editing how would I do that. Basically there is an Instant movie theme in the selection called "My Fairy Tail" and the intro has animated book pages turning. I want only that intro sequence without the rest of the Instant Movie and music if that is possible (well I know it's possible to take out the music).

The last modification on my file (.prel) was the 8 st january 2018, but now, it's impossible to open and edit my file with the application and i don't understand why (even if i open it with the menu of adobe premiere element).Can you help me on this please?I hope i'm understood because i'm french and my english is not good....Thank you,Tiphaine

(MP4)Clip has been confirmed to contain audio Previous 32 clips are from the same source and shot on the same day.  All 32 added to timeline ok, with audio and audio waveform visible.Clip 33 added to timeline without audio or waveformClip 34 is ok and contains audio and waveformClip 35 and 36 are missing audioClip 37 to 41 all have audio and waveformsWindows 7 PCPrevious movie had no problemsWhy would PE2018 discriminate like that?Could file corruption make PE drop the audio only?  (I think this is unlikely considering the audio plays ok in another player)Here is a screen shot showing the clips with the missing audio.Thanks for any help.RegardsJason

since win 10 update 1709, I can not start premier elements 15 anymore.With help von Adobe we could fix the "msvcr120.dll", but wenn I changed back to my User account it was the same again, also with the admin account.

He guys, I want to use some of the music scores that Adobe Elements provides als "royalty free". Does anybody know if that means I am allowed use them in a video which is not only private but which I also want to publish?

Hello there, Im a new user of  Premiere elements 15 and I am in trouble. When I add files to my timeline the yellow/orange line that tells me that the video files is not identified by the program shows. I have analyzed the files from my camera with MediaInfo and the file type does not exist in the program. Can anyone help me? Best regrads from Heidi

GoPro hero6 black Camera uses H.265 for some settings.  Is there now or will there be a Codec to play/edit with PE15?thnaks

Hello can anyone help for 2 days 8hrs each I let Adobe support remotely access my laptop to try and get Prem 2018 to launch! They couldn't do it and werebjust ridiculously unhelpful. All it does when I open it to use video editor is go onto the purple loading screen and fail on the quick/or real time installation % part. They just keep saying uninstal and reinstall which doesn't work. When I first got and registered the program it worked fine then all of a sudden stopped.  I run on win 64 and the program is on win 8 but laptop win10. Have trouble shooted it and tried on all versions of window's and I still can't get past the purple loading screen.  Laptop is up-to-up-to-date, HD and plenty of storage Can anyone help?

When I try to backup Elements 12, the software locks up.  If I can't back up the catalog and pictures, I am afraid to even try to upgrade.  I have one catalog and I library of pictures is 145 GB.

I have a Sony 4K camera.The mp4 files are very heavy and my old computer is no more able to work with so heavy files.I make videos (about 1 hour 1/2 and 256 Gb files).What is the best computer configuration (iMac Pro) to work with mp4 files and Adobe Prel 15 :- processor : 8 core is enough ? or more ? (10, 14, 18 ?)- DDR4 : 32 Gb is enough ? or more ? (64, 128 ?)- graphics : Radeon Pro Vega 56 with 8 Gb or Radeon Pro Vega 64 with 16 GbThanks for your answerJack

When I exported a file onto my desktop, Windows Media Player played 75% of the video and then abruptly stopped and said "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file."When I tried it again, it did the same thing, but on the second time, it wouldn't play the file at all.The first time I exported the file, it was over 6GB.  The second time I exported the file, it was only 89MB.So there is a definite problem with exporting the file into MP4 format.  How can I fix this?Thanks!

Hi Everyone,im having a Problem, while editing Videos, where the Picture will get chopped up at irregular intervals and the audio will get desynced.It´s not due to rendering and the choppy Video persists even when i turn it into video file.I´ve tried to adjust the Pre-Settings according to the Videos im using and re-installing.I´ve also tried to contact support but unfortunately they don´t support Elemtents 14 anymore.Has anybody had the same Issue and knows how to fix it?Thanks a lot for reading!

I had to upgrade Win 10 to V1709 but had to uninstall PE 14. Now reinstalled 14.1 but it takes 4 minutes to load. Seems that it is not finding Plug-Ins. Eventually loads and works OK. Why the delay?

When I try to Import a project of 200 clips from the organizer, no matter which video I select first, it's always added to the timeline from newest to oldest. For some reason the selection order has no effect when importing and I can't find the option to reverse the order.
