Premiere Elements

I just recently upgraded from version 8 to the latest 2018 version of Premier Elements.  I am unable to export to a Bluray.  I know the drive and media work as I was able to do this before in the prior version.  I get the error of "Incompatible Disk".  To answer some questions, here are some specifics about my machine:1. Windows 10 Pro2. Drive is LG WH16NS40.  I also have another DVD drive/burner, which is a Dell DH-16ABS3. I have uninstalled the prior version of Premier Elements before installing 2018When I go to export, I can only select DVD (SD and HD), and cannot find Bluray anywhere with the export panel under Disc.  Any suggestions?

whenever I try to drag a clip to my time ling it becomes transparent and I can see my desktop and windows behind it. I called customer care but they only support premier 15 and 16 while I have elements 10. I'm at a loss and have a project due tomorrow. any help would be appreciated!

can i migrate project from premiere elements 14 to latest version 18?my project in premiere elemenets 14 is not complete, if i will buy lastest version adobe elements 18, can i continue at my project?Thank you

I have an old pre file that worked over the course of several years with PE 11. I now need to re-export the piece I created, but for some reason it will not recognize an mpg file (created on an iPhone 4) that is part of the project. I know the file is good, because I can play it separately with variety of programs.The error message says "This type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed." Between the last time this worked and now, I had serious computer problems and had to reformat C:. Although I had a backup, it's possible I lost some codecs in the process. I just re-installed the K-Lite Mega pack, but that made no difference. I'm 99% certain I had one or two additional codecs (not from K-Lite), but I cannot recall what they were.I have Quicktime (7.7.9) installed.I have looked at the file in question with GSpot, and it says it's an MPEG-2 and that both audio and video codecs are installed.I've even tried opening the pre file with Premiere Pro 2018, but it say

when starting up premier elements 10, i get a message that the Organizer Database is corrupt, it tries to recover it, it can't, tries to Open Catalogue, then says the Catalogue is either corrupt or out of date. premier elements 10 worked fine a few days ago and now this? any help is appreciated.Chris

hope this is the correct forum, i am lost.My elements 15 always worked correctly but now it stops after open a video and try to shorten it (edit) the clip. Have removed the program and reinstalled. I just bought this software and I'm trying to edit a video. When I add a video to the timeline, I don't see a preview. When I click play, I hear the audio of the video but nothing is playing on the preview. All I see is still the welcome message (as shown on the screenshot below). Is there any settings that I need to enable or disable to be able to see the preview? Without the preview, there's no possible way to edit a video.

Hello Forum, after a week of trying ... still getting nowhere.  A few years back I bought a Photoshop/Premiere Elements v.11 from a proper retailer, with discs etc.  It loaded fine.  Now I have upgraded to a SSD on my laptop (Windows 10, i7, 12GB RAM).  Everything else has reloaded fine (Lightroom, PSE 11 from the same disc, etc.), but whatever I try, Premiere Elements will not work.  It seems to install fine, and accepts the serial number off the box etc. ... but when I click on it to open - nothing happens.I have tried disabling AntiVirus, loading from desktop, and other stuff picked up from this website - but no luck.  The upgrade was done by a proper computer shop, with lots of engineers etc., and I could go back to them next time in town.  But is it necessary, or worth it, and what can they do that I can't anyway?  thanks to anyone who reads this

I want to make a slideshow.  I import beautiful photos, I render them, they turn into photos that look like I zoomed too much and got pixels.  Am I missing a step?

Hi,I have just started using Premiere Elements 15, and my third attempt highlighted new problems.I think there may be a couple of reasons so I would value getting your experienced answer.Sorry if I am running before I can walk, or asking a dumb question.I created a project and saved it. Exported it and created an mp4 which works fine.My aim is to produce a DVD -R which can be played back on either computers or Home DVD players.So I used the project and exported it to Disc.  (Not ISO?)This played back on my computer.However...1.     So far I have just used the DISC setting when burning my DVD from a project.        I notice there is an option to burn as an ISO DVD.        When and why would it I need to use this setting?          2.     I discover that the DVD has been written as an NTSC region DVD.      &nbsp

I have photoshop premium elements 10 on my new computer and I want to download premium elements 15 that I previously bought how do I do this.

Microsoft Creator's Update was recently installed on my computer.  Before the update, Premiere Elements was working fine.  After the update, the audio on all my project files (.prel) does not come through the speakers.  The audio track is shown on the timeline, but no sound is heard.  This occurs for all .prel files both previously created or newly created since the update.  For all other video files (e.g., mpg, mp4, etc.), the audio comes through normally.  Has anyone else had this problem, and is there a solution?  

I have track from one video camera that only has sound in left track. Very noticeable against the other video clips. Cannot boost the gain enough to match other clips. I see plenty of discussions in Premiere Pro saying to just "fill left to right" in audio mixer. But that does not exist in Elements 12. I do not have audition, or other sound editing software. Can anyone help point me right?

My problem is that whenever I go to edit gaming videos only the audio seems to be off by 5-10 frames even by a second or two. I am using the newest version of this software. Is there something I could do to fix that issue?

Hello. I was about to add audio over my videos and upon clicking the icon, I realized there is NOTHING. Is this the case? Because PE 12 didn't have this issue. If PE 2018 really doesn't have any available audio, please advise where I can download and add audio. Thanks in advance.

I'm trying to make a simple photo slide show and want to have some songs playing in the background.  How do I import a song from my iTunes library into the video?

So I down load my video ( which is converted  VHS to disk). I put it on the edit line and start playing it. The edit screen freezes but the edit line keeps moving. The same disks work fine on Premiere 9 but not on 2018. I have a new HP pc with i5 and  12 gbs of memory with windows 10Also digital still camera video works ok. 

I have created a video with pictures in expert mode. there is a title in the first position.  when you play it the title shows before the first picture as it should.  when I display the file in file explorer it shows the picture after the title.  It worked ok for a number of videos, but now I can't get it to work the way it was before.I have tried to many things to fix but to no avail.Would applicate any help.Thanks Dick

Hello,Premiere Elements 15;I have read quite a few posts related but I could not find the answer.I have an mp4 videos with different resolutions. Hello,at first, sorry maybe for the wrong translation of the apps. I use the premiere 14 in german, so the name of the editing programs could be wrong. However, the opportunities to enhance the Video-Quality in case of colour/shades doesn't work. So in case of the shade processing, there is no action if i push the button. If i try the smart correction, there occurs an error message.Do you have any idea how i could solve the problem?Best regards Georg

I have lost my work space in the editor. It is now a small black screen with a tiny image of my project. When I go to restore work space an click on it the screen flashes and then it goes back to the little screen.Any one know how to fix this?

Recently, I installed a trial of Adobe Premiere Elements. I made a quick video to test the software and attempted to render the video file. To my surprise, the video rendered to a black screen which is weird because it plays perfectly fine within the editing software. I've tried to render the video multiple times using different quality settings but to no avail. I can hear the sound of in the background but the video does not appear throughout. How do you get lines of text to act independently?For example I saw the "fade in by line" (and fad out by line) feature and thought that meant that the text would line by line fade out, or in.But it will not because I can't hit the accept key if I have more than one line of text in the text box. I have the lines separated by the enter key because I want certain text on certain lines. So that makes me wonder what the "fade in by line" feature is for since if you have only one line of text you can use the just "fade" feature to make the text fade in or out. Also on the title page I would like to have each line (or maybe two lines then the next one line) enter independently. How do you do that?Maybe premier elements can't do this and whatever text  you have works as a unit?? but it seems that there are an awful lot of features so it should be able to do this?Also an unrelated question, how do I learn Premier Elements?
