Premiere Elements

As I am adding video clips to the timeline, I begin to get a red error screen on some video clips. Then, the videos with the red screen error playback at a rate about 5 times faster than any other clip. The FPS and speed/duration have not changed. Adjusting FPS and speed/duration do not resolve this issue. Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas as to how to resolve?

I am used to Windows Live Movie Maker 10 and am making my first DVD of pics and video using this program. I have watched many youtube videos and still can't figure out the following:1. How do I make the zoom IN or OUT so it either pans towards you or away from you?2. How do I make it pan and zoom and ROTATE at the same time? 3. How do I apply transitions to multiple pictures at one time?Thank you for any help anyone can give me, extremely frustrated because it was so simple in my windows movie maker program, hopefully once I learn this it will be just as simple!!

Hello All,Please help me with this error message.  When I click on New Project or open project I get this error message.  "We have detected an incompatible display driver.  To get a better and faster playback performance, please update your display driver.  Display driver details :Intel - Intel(R) HD Graphics 405 3.0.0 - Build 20.19.15.4364

oh good lord, there has to be an easy way to do this, but I cannot find it anywhere...any help?I really don't want wine and cheese in my opening transition, but I do have a lovely image I took of a product.thanks for any guidance-nik

When I add media from files or SD card into new project I get sound but no picture just a black screen.Have a new HD camera and did not have any problems before. Added old videos from files and did not experience any problemsUsing same SD card with new camera that was used with old camera. Please advise.Thank You

I completed a photo slideshow with music, using Premiere Elements 14 (PRE) that is "80 min 53 sec" long.  I then made an ISO image that was captured and opens with Roxio Creator 2012 Special Edition.  I then made a DVD with the Roxio program by selecting Burn Disc Image.  It all worked fine and the program created a M2TS DVD that plays in my Samsung 3D Blu-ray Player.  I did not see an option, during the Burn Disc Image process, to select any final DVD format.  FYI - I do not know the final DVD/Blu-ray players that the slideshow will be shown, because there will be a copy of the slideshow provided to each attendee of our HS reunion - 100 classmates registered.Is there an option during one of the steps to obtain something other than a M2TS format for the DVD?  If yes, how and what should be the other choices? 

I have successfully downloaded Premier Elements 15 and I started to install.  But at 65% it stopped.  It was telling me it was still installing, so I left the computer to it.  But two hours later, it was still stuck at 65%, so I cancelled the installation.  I am still using Windows 7, could this be the reason?  Or is there something else I should be trying to do?

I have downloaded a large MP4 file (> 1 GB) from a TV website in 1280X720 format. The video file plays fine in VLC media player.I tried a lower resolution download 640X360 with the same result.When I import these files into Premiere Elements 14 they do not import successfully for some reason; there is just a blank blue bar which does not play back at all.This is the first time I have encountered an issue like this.No errors come up.I run Auto-Analyzer on the video and nothing is reported.

Hello,I am rendering some video weekly (a video podcast) that is taking around 5 hours to encode/render. I'm OK with the encode/render time, but there are situations when something comes up, be it work, or whatever, and I'd like to be able to pause this process. Is this possible in PE15? If I cancel and then restart are there any tricks by moving "temp" files or something to get it to resume without starting from the beginning and resetting the 5 hour clock?While I'm not a pro myself, my wife uses the full suite of Adobe products on her machine (mostly for still images and the very occasional video), does Premiere Pro allow for exporting to Media Encoder that can be paused?

I am trying to apply a default audio transition to several clips at once. I select the clips I require which highlights them. I then select Timeline/Apply default transition along CTI/Audio. Nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? What does it mean "along CTI"? To me the CTI is the current time indicator which is the blue triangle and red line. Confused.

Got trouble with elements and premiere suddenly starting with the wrong font size in the menus at the top. Problem is only in these programs and the software seems to be working w/o problems when it comes to open pictures and videos including editing them. Running windows 10, on a x64 computor. Both programs and OS is fully updated. Been trying to google the problem and found som stand alone update @KB4020201 if I recall right but that didn't help. Aswell as trying to run it as windows 7 and 8 w/o improvement. All other programs got no problems with this. Checked scaling in in screensettings aswell and it is at normal 100%. Running on 1600*1050. Gladly any recommendations on what actions to take is welcome.

In order to save room on my external hard drive and because my drone video collection is growing fast, I want to only save the usable clips from my videos which usually are about 40-50% of each individual video I shoot.  I want to discard the portions I'll never use and just save the good parts.  How do I save them in their original format?  I don't want to change anything other than getting rid of what I don't want.  Thanks

I've realised that you can double click on a video to preview it before adding it to the timeline.  However, the window that it opens in is incredibly small and getting the cursor in the correct place to be able to resize the window is very difficult as it needs to be so precise.  Is there anyway to be able to easily preview clips in a bigger window?

Hi everybody!I've been using premiere elements 14 for a year now on my mac with no problems at all.  I've uploaded over 100 videos but then yesterday I when uploading a video I encountered this message: "There was an error uploading, try again later"I'm using the same settings I've had for all the other videos.  I've restarted my computer, reset my modem, restarted the application, still same result over and over again.  WHAT IS GOING ON???Any body else out there with this problem?

When I try to insert hebrew text into the titles box, it doesnt show hebrew but rather an X inside a square.what should I do in order to have subtitles in Hebrew?

I am thinking of upgrading to Premier Elements 15, but I still have ongoing projects on Elements 14.  If I do upgrade to 15, do I lose 14 or will that software still be available to me?

Im using an apple laptop and i saved my project then clicked exit now trying to open the project back up it opens but the editing that i did isn't there and most of the videos arent there and another issue I tried to export it before I clicked exit and the export screen i couldn't see the full screen

Please excuse this stupid question, but is the first time using Premiere Elements to edit video.  I wish to create a file on my PC that I can later burn to a DVD.  The DVD's will be shared with PC and MAC users.  The input source are GoPro files and in the past have saved the edited files in MP4 format.  I do not see an option to save the edited version of my project to an MP4 format.  These are hi-res videos and with another product years ago, tried saving in an MP format but the image quality was poor.Can the edited video from Premiere Elements be saved in an MP4 format or is that another format that will work with both PC and MAC computers?

I've searched the forums extensively, and I am beginning to think I am not phrasing the search terms right, because someone has to have had this question before.I have v15 and I'm trying to export a blu-ray @283052 with a custom menu.  My source material is 720p60, so I'm fine with the blu-ray being 720p, but the only output options I see are 1440x1080 and 1920x1080, both of which limit me to 29.97 fps.Is there a way to export at 60fps (or 59.94?).  I have found options for exporting to "custom" but I do not believe this is going to output a blu-ray iso image for me to burn and play on a player.

I make "how to" dvds in Apple Final cut. On a mac. Usually I burn them using idvd but Apple no longer supports it and the latest version of Final cut wont work with it very well.So I have a .mov file with chapter markers that I need to burn on a disk and include a cool looking menu with the play movie option and the scene selection option.It look like premier can do that but before I buy it will it work with my .mov file?

I created a video clip using premier elements 14 and then uploaded the video to youtube using the export and share feature. This was a 10 minute video and easily fit in youtube's 15 minute length limit.(youtube has a standard limit of 15 mins unless you apply for uploading longer videos). Video posted just fine.  I had some longer videos, so I went back into my youtube account and got the standard limit increased. However, when I attempted to use premier elements to export and share a longer video, I got an error message that says: "The video duration exceeds the maximum duration supported by the destination. Please reduce the duration of the video and try again." I'm guessing that when elements got authorization from youtube to post my initial video, it also locked me in to the initial 15 minute length restriction (which, as I say, has since been lifted). Anybody have an idea on how I can fix this? Thanks.

In Adobe Premiere Elements 15, how do you change the amount of time each photo plays in slideshow?

Hello,first of all I apologize for my poor english, being french.I'm the owner quite satisfied of APE 14. Yet recently I wanted to reopen a film I had done and to my dismay what appeared on the screen was the g.... "Media offline". Music was there but absolutely no pics at all! Where is everything gone??? Where is my movie? Why can't I reopen it to correct some minor glitches in my commentaries?I Would truly appreciate an enlightened answer from this forum.Thank U.
