Hello, new to the forum. I've just tried importing some .wav files into my timeline in my Photoshop Elements 15 Premier. It imported the files, but there is no audio in them...just a level wave form. Anybody experienced this before?
I am trying unsuccessfully to sort the clips on my timeline by date. The folders in the organizer are sorted by the date taken stamp but when I load the folders into the edit timeline they rearrange to alphabetical by name of file. Any ideas? I do not want to rename or hand move over 200 files. Thank you!
I, too, am having problems uploading to any of the three services: Vimeo, YouTube, and Facebook. It gets to 98% on Vimeo and YouTube, at 6 seconds left, and then locks up. Facebook appeared as though it would be successful, as it processed past the 98% and said it was going to begin the process to finish uploading to Facebook, but failed several times in my "try, try again" approach. But each time takes at least 3 hours for the slightly over 1 hour City Council meeting I'm dealing with for a news feature video on a digital news service. Basically, the inability to upload in a timely manner wastes not only my editing time, but the meeting time, and does us out of the news video. I long for the simpler days of Steve Jobs' iMovie 09!I even tried lowering the quality to have less memory involved... down to 3.40 GB on the quality, but when I chose Vimeo, it brought it down to 2.87 GB. I have posted many of our news feature videos that run more than an hou
I had issues with my original webcam when recording from my webcam into Premiere Elements 15 (and importing the videos from elsewhere). So I bought a much more modern webcam (but one that definitely works with Windows 10), however the issues are pretty much the same. Below, I'll give as detailed an account of the issues as possible- hopefully someone will be able to help. Currently I am unable to put any webcam footage in the videos I record for Youtube. I spoke to help over live chat, but they were worse than useless; hopefully I can get some better answers here. When I record from a webcam directly into Premiere Elements 15, I get progressive desync that, within 10 seconds, has rendered the video and the audio completely out of sync. Is this something to do with the frame rate being recorded at, the format it's being recorded in and/or the audio settings? When I record the video in debut, it plays completely fine on my computer, but as soon as I put it into premiere elements, I got a
Hello,I tried to install the trial version but the installation didn't proceed at 63%. It was installing: microsoft visual c++ 2015 redistributable package (x86).How can I solve this? Thanks
In my little iMovie app that came with my iPhone, you can add theme music, and it seems to automatically make the music match the video. For example, the music will change slightly when the action speeds up in the video. That way, it's like the music automatically goes with the video. Is there anything similar in Premiere? I am a total newbie, and I would like to add a musical score to my video that changes to match the action, but being a newbie, I don't want to do this manually.I would appreciate any suggestions.
I have an all-in-one PC with i5, built-in Intel graphics, Windows 7.I created a video that is about 8 minutes long. Before saving it as an MP4 with 852x480 pixels, I clicked the render button. Still, when the saving process reaches about 44%, the internal fan starts to go wild and sounds like a vacuum cleaner. There's so much hot air coming out of the computer, that I have to click abort because I fear my computer might break. Is there anything I can do so that the CPU won't overheat? I can only think of the pre-rendering function. Maybe change Premiere Elements to a lower CPU priority in the task manager?
Error Message continues : "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."This problem occurred 3 days ago after successfully running PE15 for a number of weeks without any problem.Removed and reinstalled PE15 - same problem immediately but managed to install ok and entered the S/n - seemed to install correctly. I restarted Win10 and then immediately had the above error once again.I notice that some others have been having the same error on this and different versions of PE but no solutions seen so far. Some urgency wanted from Adobe development team to resolve this issue.

I have edited a video in Premier Elements and I'm ready to export it. When I go to "Export & Share" I can select all my preferences but I don't have an option to actually EXPORT, or save, it anywhere. From what I've seen in tutorials, I seem to be missing a section of the window that should let me pick a file location and save/export, but I can't resize or change the window. Here is what it looks like: As you can see the box ends after "File Name" and I don't have any way to finish the export. Can someone tell me how to fix this or work around it?Thank you!
I'm only finding one movie menu with Premiere Elements 15. I don't see an option to download the rest. Any help would be much appreciated.
Over 1/2 of the .MP4 video files will not play once imported. Other .MP4 clips play fine including .avi and .MOV. The error message says I don't have the required codec.
So I got Adobe Premiere Elements for Christmas and it worked just fine when i got it but i haven't used it since because I didn't yet have material I wanted to edit. So today I tried to get onto it, and before I clicked on the Icon for it on my desktop I noticed it wasn't the Adobe Premiere Elements icon it was like a white box with a blue box inside of it and lines that I suspect is supposed to represent a picture and writing. So I clicked on it and the Welcome screen opened just fine and looked perfect, it was showing the usual slideshow of images above the three program options on the bottom (from left to right, photo editor, organizer, and video editor). When I clicked on video editor, it just kept showing on the video editor button that it was loading and loading for about five minutes before I gave up. I continued to try and try, I even opened the program from the start menu instead of the desktop and even its designated folder and it was the same issue. I also tried to ope
PRE 12 and Windows 10. If I have a project open in PRE and then switch to another app, such as Windows Explorer or MS word, yellow tag text panels from PRE pop up in the other app. From the text, they appear to be the tags that are generated by the Work Area Bar when it reports the start, stop, and duration for the WAB. The notes are a nuisance, so I would appreciate some ideas for stopping their appearance. Thanks.Ted
I am making a disc of a two night play performance. I placed a main menu marker at the beginning of the first night clips and a stop menu marker at the end of the first night clips. With a small gap on the timeline I placed the second night clips and place a second main menu marker and again a stop menu marker at the end of the second night clips. I placed scene clips within both sets of clips. The first night worked just like I expected it to, created a main menu button, showed scenes, returned to the main menu at the stop marker. However the first night menu also showed the scenes from the second night within the first night movie menus even through there were behind (to the right ) of the the first night "movie" stop menu marker. The second night main menu marker and stop menu marker worked but there were no scenes within - all it scenes had been assigned to the first movie. Any way to assign which scenes go with which set of main movie markers?&n

Hi everyone,I am editing footage to music in a video. I had a section of clips which i edited earlier in the video and when cutting the clips to music, they automatically shifted when I deleted a clip. However I now have another track in the project and am editing clips to that but when I delete footage a blank space is created which cannot be deleted. The only way to get around the issue is to highlight all remaining clips in the project and drag them past the blank space which is not efficient when creating many videos. This is infuriating as sometimes the program lets me edit to music and cuts and deletes space fine, but then 10 minutes later on in my project when doing exactly the same thing it creates these annoying blank spaces which can't be deleted.Any ideas? Many thanks,Philip
I had been using the program just fine, with my movies rendering and saving just fine, but all of the sudden, when the process was done and I tried to open the completed movie, it wouldn't play. I noticed the finished product only had about 28 bytes of data in it. I tested it many times with different content to see what I could figure out, but was never really successful. For really short movies, it seems to come out ok, but anything in the longer range, which is what I mostly do, seems to have the problem I mentioned. What is strange is that when the processing is going on, I can see the audio and video components being saved in the folder, and they both have the GB of data you would expect of each, but once the processing is finished, it goes down to just the 28 byes and will not play.I have done a reset of my PC as well as redownloaded and reinstalled the software.I'll post some stats here just in case it will help:I am using Premiere Elements 15I do a lot o
trying to download Adobe premiere Elements 15 on a trial before I buy. I get an error message saying my install failed. It says the error summary might help identify the issue, when I click the link the webpage opens but doesn't load. I have re-booted my computer, I have shut off my virus protection and malware programs. I login to the download program, it does everything until the error screen. How do I fix this problem, would love to text out this program?
I save my Premier Elements 15 - 3 min video as .iso,.mpeg&.mp4 but the DVD player can only do a jpeg. I could not find that format in Export & Share. What do I do? I've look around here, but I could not find the right page. Please send me a link. This is due on Sun. March 19. Thank you in advance!
Hi,I tried in many ways to apply a garbage mask ( 4 or 8 points) on a MPEG-4 AVC/H.264-file but correction points are not visible but even if you see the borders there are no gripping points. If a try the same trick on a .mts file it works fine.Any idea how to solve this problem? Thanks for any help!Robertps.- the mpeg files comes from my (very new) Olympus OM D II camera (MOV fhd, 50p frs)- I work with elements 14- Garbage mask in Dutch: correctiemasker
I'm a newbie. I'm using Premier Elements 15. I'd like to add my own audio music to a video clip, but can find no way to do this. The audio button only leads to a menu of selections embedded in the app. Help will be appreciated.Richard.
Hi,I am relatively new to Premiere Elements and Photoshop. I am using the organizer to launch the photo and video editor. Recently while editing a video project, I came across an error that said my video clips did not match the project settings. From Organizer, if I select several video clips, all with the same dimensions, filmed using the same device, then when Premiere Elements is launched, it doesn't adjust the project settings when it loads the clips. It sets it to 'HD 1080i' even though all the clips are 720p. In fact no matter what source of video clip I use, it incorrectly sets the project to 'HD 1080i'. Unless I am missing something, this makes organizer useless for video.
I have the Mac OS X sierra version 10.12.3 and I want to use the Adobe premiere elements 15. Only problem is it stated that the software is compatible with 10.10 and 10.11. I'm no professional and just need an cheaper easy to use video editor. CC is way to expensive for me. Does anyone know if the Elements 15 will be compatible with my Mac or will only the CC work?
PRE 12 and Windows 10. Timeline has 2 sliders, shaped like hot dogs standing vertically. I cannot find an explanation for their purpose. By trial and error I found that they can be used to measure elapsed time between any 2 points on the timeline. Is there more to it than that? Thanks.Ted Pierce
