Hi, My current laptop has an i7 processor, 8GB RAM. Graphics card: NVIDIA GEFORCE MX230 This graphics card is not on the Adobe Premiere Pro list of system requirements. Will I experience problems if I buy the Premiere Pro and install it? Thanks
I need to replace my current laptop for a variety of reasons, the biggest being i can no longer edit videos on it. It’s slow, lags horribly, crashes, glitches, etc. I was looking to either the newest Surface Pro 6 or the new MacBook Air (what I’m leaning towards more) that just came out about a week ago. Those two devices seem very portable (which is what i need, portability.)Does anyone have any recommendations on which of these Adobe premier pro will run best on? Pros and cons? I edit a lot of 4K/HD footage.

What's Premier Pros current compatibility with the Quadro K2200? I'm cheap and I want to keep my pennys. I am still using an old HPE-170t with a Intel Core i7 860 & NVIDIA GeForce GT 440 for my video and photo work. There is only one downfall to this practice which is a slowdown that I experience when rendering footage. I am considering getting a old workstation to use for my vidoe projects so that I can continue whatever other work I have on my HPE-170t while I wait for the video to render. This is the build I'm looking at:HP Z620Processors:2x (2.6 GHz) 8-Core Intel Xeon E5-2650 v2 Processor Memory (RAM):32GB (4x8) DDR3 PC3 Memory Graphics Card:Nvidia Quadro K2200 4GB GDDR5 I need to keep costs down as much as possible so if theres anyone willing to throw their time in on any reccomendations I would be very appreciatve. I am running the latest version of Premiere Pro CC, Cuda Enabled, with a NVIDIA GeForce 1070 installed but there is no contribution to the Pr processing from the GPU. Also where is the cuda_supported_cards.txt file for this system? I could not find it under Adobe Premiere Pro 2022 >.
The only Adobe software I have installed currently, is Premier Pro. However, I'm seriously considering upgrading to Adobe Cloud because I'd like: After Effects, Audition, Photoshop and Illustrator, and so obviously the cloud works out to be excellent value. However, my HP Omen gaming desktop which is about 4 years, although still quite substantial in terms of processing power, only has 250GB SSD. Recently I've been struggling, fighting with my last 5 to 20GB trying to save space, but I've reached the limit of what I can uninstall, and as I unsterstand it, all my other main applications are better off left on my existing SSD drive (instead of moving some of them to my hard drive), which is of course my PC's primary drive. Therefore, my question is: can I simply add a 2nd SSD for installing the additional 4 x Adobe products that I've stated? The reason I'm asking is that I don't know if there are any technical differences between a PC's primary SSD, and a 2nd, added SSD. For ex
Hi community. I want to purchase a new monitor. I've never had a 4k monitor, so I'm considerate before buying one.I'm confused if the graphics on a 4k resolution are tiny? So for example if my resolution is 4k, and my PS canvas is 1000 x 400 pixels, will it be at 100% like on a 1920 x 1080 resolution screen, or will PS be at 50% when it creates the canvas, and I need to keep on zooming until it gets to 100% so I can see the canvas size at 100%?
Hi I am a comple newbie to Premier Pro and just finding my feet. Would anyone know if Premier Pro will work efficently on a PC with the below specs. Hi everyone, I would like to buy a macbook pro touch 16inch with an AMD radeon pro 5500M GPU (+ intel UHD graphics 630). I'm looking at the GPU compatibility list but i'haven't see any information about AMD radeon 5500M. Is anyone use this GPU with premiere pro? (without any problem) Thanks a lot. Rom.

Over on the Creative Cow, Dave put up a long and detailed look at puzzling through the hardware needs, wants, and choices for those working in both Premiere Pro and AfterEffects. Neil https://library.creativecow.net/helmly_dave/How_to_Choose_the_Right_System_for_Adobe_Premiere_Pro_an...
Is the Geforce GTX 1650 Ti compatible with this version?

Hi.I have an i7-11700K processor with iGPU and Intel QuicSync.I also have a graphics card Nvida RTX 3080. I wonder if it is true that only NVENC is used as it is in this video and there is no way to switch to QuickSync even if iGPU is also used. 2:50It's going to use the Nvidia graphics card. It will not give you the option to use the Intel's QuickSynck, even though I do have Intel's integrated graphics processor enabled.https://youtu.be/l8qte40pykI?t=156
What windows system parameters could handle this well? IE without freezing, stuttering etc.
So, I want to throw this question out there to what others are doing. I have been using Windows Desktop machines for the last six years along with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and many plugins (Element 3D, Red Giant, Boris FX). The advice I got in the past for setting up my system was to have multiple hard drives: C Drive - which contains operating system and Adobe softwareD Drive - which contains video and audio files, as well as all Premiere Pro and AE project filesE Drive - that holds all cache (media cache, cache database, etc). But that I'm switching over to using a MacBook Pro M1 Max, I'm wondering what the ideal setup is for this? I only have one 2TB internal drive in the MacBook. My plan is to have multiple external hard drives that I'd be using effectively as my D Drive per the previous example. But where should I put my cache files to optimize speed, etc? Any other advice for setting up a system using a MacBook Pro M1 Max?Thanks!
No because the Q6600 chipset can not handle that type of RAM. the CPU and it’s chipset was created before the DDR3 spec came out. they use DDR-2 RAM.
I have started experimenting with a HDR workflow and I am looking for advice on which hardware to use for the main video output. I would like to monitor UHD 50P in HDR via HDMI and I wonder if anybody has any experience with BMD or AJA output cards. BMD might be preferable as I sometime use Resolve ( and they are cheaper!)
@siljea9394158 wrote: Macbook Pro 16" M1 Pro 10 CPU cores 16 GPU cores with 16" screen, 16 GB ram, 1 TB SSD Under your budget, with video editing as a priority, you should go straight to the M1 Max. It has double the GPU cores, double the hardware video encoders and ProRes encoder/decoders, and you get 32GB of unified memory. Unified memory means any memory not needed as RAM can be used as VRAM for the GPU. (The M1 Max also has double the memory bandwidth as the M1 Pro, but you probably won’t notice much difference with that.) With 1TB storage, it comes in at US$3499, right in the middle of your budget range. I don’t know AMD PCs as well, but in raw performance with a powerful GPU, a good PC laptop should be competitive with or maybe superior to an M1 Max. But where you’ll probably see the difference is in how long you can do that on battery. Because of the performance-per-watt efficiency of the M1, you will probably be able to edit longer on battery on the M1
I made the video below to help clear up some color correction issues when using Premiere Pro. Is Premiere Pro really that bad when compared to other NLE? Watch the video below to find out.
After doing research on what the best Macbook Pro is for Premiere Pro in quite a few pages this one came up: Model: MacBook Pro 16-inch 2019 (MVVK2B/A)Processor: 2.30 GHz Intel Core i9 9th GenMemory: 16GB or 32GBGraphics: AMD Radeon pro 5500M 4GB I am surprised I don't see the AMD Radeon pro 5500M 4GB graphics as supported on your website, is this correct? I am very confused as to why this graphic card would be unsupported when just over a year ago it was recommended as one of the best for video editing. I have encountered many issues with rendering taking days for some projects with my current computer MacBook Pro - Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015 8GB RAM and Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB. This graphics card comes up as recommended in Adobe website so once I'm again I'm confused why an hour long project would take me 5 days straight of rendering and exporting?!?! And this with a "recomended" graphic card. I am looking into getting a new Mac so wa
I am torn between buying an older i7 (3rd gen) with the intel 4000 graphics card, or buying an i5 (4th gen) with a basic Intel Iris graphics card. I am editing on a 1080p monitor, and doing some work with 4k footage... Both systems have 16gb ram, and similar specs all around. The multi-core performance on the i7 is twice as fast as the i5, even though it is 1 generation older. For editing in premiere is it more important to have more cores? Or is it ideal to sacrifice half of the computing power for a better gpu?Thank you![Moderator note: moved to best forum.]

Hi. I need to get a new iMac asap so I can start using my Adobe software properly and decided I need the 27" imac (preferably 2020 model). I was going to wait for the new larger screen M1 iMacs to come out this year but I probably wont be able to afford it as I'm on a tight budget and need a decent graphics tablet as well (all for less than £2000). So I just wanted to know if the older iMacs with Intel chips will still be compatible with Adobe software for a good few more years to come, or should I get a new M1 model?.
