How complex of a project can we do if we are running an Intel i9-9900k processor with 128GB of RAM if we ran our same setup with an 11GB 2080Ti Graphics Card? A 24GB Quadro RTX 6000? Or a 48GB RTX 8000? We plan on running 4K and 8K video and we want to do special fx Photoshop, Motion Graphics After Effects, Premiere Pro and use authorized plugins and will also be doing stop motion animation
Hi guys, my question is simple. I do not create many videos, but I like to do sometimes. Is it possible to convert video into smaller format using encoder if I buy computer with intel i3-8100? Or it is a must to use more powerful processors to work with encoder? Is it possible to work with latest version of Adobe Premiere and encoder using i3-8100 to edit 4k and if yes, then which discrete videocart I need to buy? Thank you!Sam
Hi, I'm going to buy computer with Ryzen 3 2200G or better, for ex. Ryzen 5 3400G. Will Adobe Premiere 2020 work without discrete graphics? I want to try it without buying discrete graphics to try working without built-in graphics. Will it work or I should set up discrete graphics, something like RX 550 4GB? Would be nice to save some money if Adobe Premiere will work without discrete graphics using G core of Ryzen.Help please, thank you! Sam
I made a new computer for my Premiere Pro processing based on the Puget Systems 6K/8K Editing Workstation. Hello,Since the last Premiere Pro & After effects update (Q1 2020), I am facing real challenges to work with these 2 tools. I get the below/attached message everytime I start any of the programs (issues with both graphics Intel and NVIDIA) and even when I follow the instructions to update my graphics I get an error message, also below/attached. I contacted adobe support Level 1, who scheduled another call to have acces with support level 2 ... but still nothing. Can I please get support to have this fixed?Have a Toshiba Qosmio X70-A, i7-4700MQ, Windows 8 that I upgraded to Windows 10. 32GB RAM, ..Can you please help me use my laptop under the new updates? Thanks,
I opened my Premiere Pro today to edit my videos and I came across my Premiere without playing any sound.I did all the tests, changed the audio card, the device class, reinstalled the audio drivers, created a new project, opened an old project and nothing works. The audio clip is generated normally, the VU meter works normally and no sound comes out of the premiere.I know my headset is working, as I have already tested it with Skype, discord, system sounds, Google Chrome, Youtube, Spotify sounds, all play the sound normally, only the premiere does not work.I've already tested it with adobe audition, taking the file I was trying to edit at the premiere. I was able to hear it in the audition, but I can't hear it at the premiere!Help me please! = '(
Hi community, I'm new here and also at Adobe Products, I started my Graphic Design studies and I need help on building a new computer. As long as I live in Brazil, computer parts are way expensive and I can't afford for the moment high-end components and also I don't think they would be useful, because I'm not rendering a hour lenght 4K video or working on heavy archives, but also I don't wanna build a pc that would be outdated on next 2 or 3 years, once I'll be learning from photo capture to 3D modelling (upgrades will be necessary, I think). For now, I am going for 16GB RAM, 500GB ssd plus 1TB HDD. I've been looking for Intel i5-9400 F, Ryzen 5 1600X or Ryzen 5 2600 and for GPU, Radeon RX570 and GTX 1050Ti, but If i get a integrated graphics such as Ryzen 5 3400G will it be enough? I've seen it has less cores than others I mentioned, but I don't know the real impact of the cores during the processes, if it is really necessary to have, like, 6 or 8 cores. I'm not very acquain
Hello everybody, I'm a musician and a video editor (for weddings, private events and stuff like this). For private events 90% percent of the time I work in 1080p50 but for my youtube videos and personal videos as a musician I work in 4k25. My main machine for editing is an 16" MacBook Pro 2019, 8-core i9 , 16gb of ram and the 4gb radeon video card. For editing is just fine, I've refined my workflow to my needs (altough I always find something to improve). But my main concern is the encoding, sometimes I have to encode 2-3 videos per day (one of them having 4-7 hours). I don't want to kill my main machine with those tasks . So I was thinking to build another workstation for encoding (sharing the projects on a shared drive so AME can have access to all the files, everything wired on Gigabit connection, working to upgrade on 10gb). My idea for this new build because when it doesn't render I want to use it for other simple tasks, is to run a linux distro, passthrough th
I have just completed testing on my two desktop systems: My reserve system with an Intel i7-7700 and a GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB card, and my main system with an AMD Ryzen R7 3800X and a GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER card. I'm a student and video editing is my hobby.I'm looking for pc that can handle 1080p video editing. Rendering times are not verry important to me since this is just a hobby but i do want workable editing experience.I was looking for CPU and wanted to ask how usable Premiere will be on the following chipsIntel Core I5 2500AMD Phenom II x4 B97both with 8GB ram and GT710 GPU.
So I have recently made a huge upgrade to my PC, and was expecting massive improvments over my previous PC but I'm left feeling a litte underwhelmed. I was running a 4 core i7-3770k, overclocked, and 32GB low speed DDR3 RAM, and a 780Ti and used GPU acceleration. My footage is often from my ENT camcorders - Canon XF footage at 50mbps, so fairly demanding, but my PC handled it well. I'm running Pro CS6. My upgraded spec is the AMD Ryzen 3900x (12 core) running at 4.1Ghz each. It should have autoboosting when under load but according to task manager it never seems to increase power. I've installed the latest Ryzen software but no difference. I'm running 32GB DDR4 RAM at 3200Mhz, and have an 8GB RTX 2070 SUPER GPU. Up until now, I was running GPU acceleration - then I saw that CPU performance can be increased by using Mercury Software only, and right enough, my warp stabiliser analysed 270 frames in a clip in around 100 seconds which is around 50% faster than before.
Hi,My after effects is not working with the bluetooth earphones, I need to choose between listen what is in after effects or all the other sounds in the computer (mac)... can you help me with that?
I can't playback Canon Raw files from a C200 even at 1/16th resolution in Premiere.Playback is just fine in the Canon Raw Development tool.I have tried the following buildsBuild 1:CPU: Threadripper 1950XGPU: 1080tiRAM: 128GbStorage and Cache: m.2 drivesBuild 2:CPU: i7 7700KGPU: 2080tiRam: 64gbStorage and Cache: m.2 drivesIt does, however, playback just fine on my late 2013 iMac in FCPX... Premiere still won't play it back.It doesn't appear to be using the GPU either... is the Canon Raw Light only a CPU Debayer?Does anyone have a system that can play it back? What are your specs?I'd love to see a thread of working systems.Update (12/11/18): With the new CC 13.0.2, 1/4 res playback possible (a couple of occasional hiccups) on:Build 2CPU: i7 7700KGPU: 2080tiRam: 64gbStorage and Cache: m.2 drivesThe Thread ripper build is in production, and I will test when I am able to update.Still no GPU usage.Update (1/17/19):CC 13.0.2, Choppy Playback in all resolutions.... except after repeatedly play
My situation- I have a 2017 low end MacBook Pro with dual-core 2.3ghz with integrated Iris 640 graphics. I didn’t buy this for video editing, but current circumstances have pushed me that way. For my business I keep videos to 5-10 min 1080p so these aren’t too bad on the render time. The problem is I am doing longer 1+ hour videos for my church and I am getting render times in the 14 hour range even bringing resolution down to 720p. My question- would an egpu help me? I know PP really wants a better cpu, but that is not in the cards right now. Editing seems to be fine and I am not applying a lot of effects. I do have thunderbolt 3 so I know egpu is an option. But I don't know what I am searching for to know to get something that will actually help me with render to times. I have looked through the list of recommended GPUs for Premiere, but I get confused by the CUDA/OPENCL/Metal terms and not sure what would actually help me with render times. There are very few GPUs on Apple
I try to improve all botton nect of hardware but 4K Video rendering always take long time. try to Ctlt+Del to check the capacity of each Hardware... threre is any hardware work overload .Any reccomendation to findout the botton next.Any bug on Premier Pro 2020 ? I have a new ASUS StudioBook. It has two M.2 NVMe slots. I also have two new NVMe SSDs to upgrade it: 1. A 1T Samsung 970 Pro, and 2. A 1T Samsung 970 EVO Plus. So the question is: Which one should be for OS and apps, and which one for media files? They both read at 3,500. The EVO Plus writes faster than the Pro (3,300 vs 2,500). The Pro is more durable. Puget builds systems with the Pro for the OS/Apps drive and the Plus for the media drive. Anyone here have a different idea? Remember, I already own both, so price isn't a factor. I just want to know how best to use them.
Some help please. For the first time in my 20 years of teaching I have been given the opportunity to have input on the computers that will be purchased for my lab. This is not within my expertise at all. Currently we use Macbook Pros. So that is my comfort level of course. At the time the lab that I have was purchased (2011) Mac was the "way to go" plus we were a one to one iPads for our students. Now we are one to one Chromebooks. Quite obviously my lab is out dated and slow and will not function well with the live in app testing through Certiport and forget using Premiere Pro at all. Our course offerings are driven by industry in our area and student interest. We have a larger population of students interested in audio and video so our new lab needs to support the use of Premiere Pro ect. 1) If I make recommendation for system requirements based on the system requirements for Premier Pro will those system requirements be enough to support all the Adobe Products as well as the live i
Media Encoder not using 100% CPU or GPU for rendering. If I render directly H.264 Video from Premiere Pro its uses 100% CPU, but If I render that same clip using Media Encoder its stop using 100% CPU or GPU and rendering take too long. Please help me out in this issue.
Hi. I want a GPU with passive cooling for Premiere Pro, but is there any GPU's on the recommended gpu list for gpu acceleration? if no, what is the quitest GPU for Premiere pro in Decibel?
Hi everyone,I know there are some Apple users here, so I'm trying to get feedback from people with firsthand experience.I am very attracted to the 2019 iMac for its superb display, but I have a few questions regarding the base model's capabilities :Can the i5-8500 CPU handle 4K editing ? I've been told by a friend who uses Premiere Pro for work that the minimum requirement for 4K editing is a PassMark score of 12,000 and more. The base model's i5-8500 doesn't even reach 10,000, and the most expensive model's i5-9600K barely reaches 11,000. Is this going to be a real problem or can it get the job done, albeit rather slowly ?Are 32 GB of RAM an absolute necessity for 4K editing or are 16 GB enough ?Is it okay to just go with the 1 TB fusion drive and buy an external SSD (like a Samsung T5) to put media files used for editing ?Thank you for your help !Hideo
Hello, The point is that my CPU and GPU utilization when rendering and the preview is very low. Ryzen 3700X and RTX 2070 (previously Rx 5700XT - switched extra for this to nvidia). If I use "normal" video material, such as photos,mp4 etc. - everything works very well. CPU 100% etc. However, if I use animations such as "Path Animations with Trim Path", the CPU utilization drops to approx. 15% and GPU max. to 5%. So it takes a 10min. Video 1 hour to render. I am using Windows 10 Education Version 1909. 32GB RAM 3600Mhz. After Effects 17.0.5. Ryzen 3700X and Nvidia RTX 2070 (previously AMD RX 5700XT - same problem). I like to render using media encoder, but CPU and GPU utilization also remain low via After Effects direct rendering. This just happens if media encoder is using after effects animation footage i create.

Hi,My 2010 Mac Pro 5,1 (specs below) has been giving me years of stable support. It's struggling to deal with 4K footage and large PrP projects, and I'm considering installing a faster GPU -- and a lot more RAM. I've seen a lot of conflicting information about this online, [and much of the upgrade discussions revolve around gaming), so I would appreciate advice from video professionals, (and of course, Adobe Staff). So, here goes:1: Which GPU is recommended for this Mac [Running 2 HD Displays] 2: My Mac can apparently take up to 128GB RAM. What is the maximum amount that Premiere Pro could actually access? Mac Pro Memory Upgrades Up to 128GB 3: Am I wasting my time with these upgrades? Ie, will I actually see a boost in performance, or am I trying to put lipstick on a pig? Thanks so much in advance,Wayne8 Core Mac Pro, (Mid 2010) 32GB RAM,NVIDIA 4000 CUDA CardOSX 10.12.4 Premiere Pro: 2017.1.2
